Hearthpwn

Updated post-MSG to a promising dragon pirate warrior list. Now featuring more dragons and just enough pirates to cause havoc. This is going to be fun!

Credits to C4mlann for running this list at December's Seat Story Cup where he reached the final 8 and finished with 7-5 in tournament games.

Basic mulligan strategy:
Always keep N'Zoth's First Mate, Small-Time Buccaneer, Fiery War Axe

Can keep Faerie Dragon if you have a pirate or the coin

Keep Bloodsail Cultist with a pirate and a weapon
Keep Alexstrasza's Champion with any dragon

Never keep Patches the Pirate, of course.

Play strategy:
Consider this deck a midrange/aggro hybrid. On the one hand: win the board, make good trades, play for value. On the other hand, don't hesitate to apply pressure, clear taunts, and go face when trading doesn't make sense. We prefer to lower the opponent's health to 15 by turn 6 so Drakonid Crusher can be truly menacing, but it's ok to play it as a 6/6.

Meta status: Mid-December overall win rate: 53% (Tied for first with Aggro Shaman)

Aggro Shaman (53%)
Pirate Warrior (60%)
Jade Druid (57%)
Reno Priest (54%)

Tough matchups:
Reno Warlock (45%)
Miracle Rogue (48%)
