The Tavern Brawl "Heart of the Sunwell has given us the chance to go wild in a brawl. The 10 mana starting point for all players gives some great opportunities for warrior that no other deck can do.

Strategy

The idea behind the deck is simple. Try for Varian Wrynn on turn 1 if not play other high value minion, its ok if they hex or poly, you have so many win conditions that they wont be able to deal with them all. The deck has 23 minions 16 of which are top end legendary's so the likelyhood of getting a 3 card play off Varian Wrynn is pretty decent.

The deck also has a slew of deathrattles. Sludge Belcher, boombots, Deathwing, Dragonlord, Sylvanas Windrunner, Sneed's Old Shredder, and Leper Gnomes off Mekgineer Thermaplugg. This means N'Zoth, the Corruptor is a great value play and win condition in the late game.

Surviving is key to a deck like this as counting on an early Varian Wrynn to seal the game is not always practical. The deck features a few taunts some tempo removal, armor gain and Reno Jackson to help ensure you will come out on top. And if all else fails there is always Brawl.

Mulligan

The mulligan for this deck can depend greatly depending on what you are facing off against. In general the following are what you should be trying to pull for.

Varian Wrynn, Reno Jackson, Big Game Hunter, Brawl, Dr. Boom, Crush, Bouncing Blade. Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound(never against priest), Nefarian

WHY NOT THIS CARD???

On stream I was asked why not this card or why not that card. So here is my reasoning behind why not certain cards.

Emperor Thaurissan - In theory a good card due to the reduction that would happen to all in hand, but many times you will not be able to build a solid hand to get enough reduction to get value and having him pulled by either Varian Wynn or Y'Shaarj, Rage unbound is not overly good.

Cairne Bloodhoof- While he works well in standard N'zoth decks, here I feel he is just not impactful enough to make much of a difference.

Ysera- This was a tough call but 4 attack was the primary reason as there were other more impactful cards, though a great replacement to use if lacking any of the other top end legindary's

Gruul- 2 reason. Couldnt really fit him in and I dont have him...:(

Harrison Jones- First incarnation had him, till I realized no one played weapons.

Mind Control Tech- In theory good if you fall behind, though this never really became an issue.

Feugen/ Stalagg- Logic behind this was they gave away to much information of synergies in the back end of the deck, thus certain classes(Paladin, priest, warlock, warrior) would hold onto certain clears in order to counter play said synergy.

Deathwing- I really wanted him in the deck but as I worked through the scenarios in my head I found a great many times I would kill my chance to win by playing him.

Chromaggus- In theory great for this deck, reality is getting any sort of synergy with the card draw available is near impossible thus you would have to rely on him sticking around till your next turn.

Naga Sea Witch- honestly this could be something that would have insane value in this deck. Turn 1 Naga Sea Witch into Varian Wrynn is just pure value play. Definitely something I would try to find a place for if you want to be creative, just I never took the time to try.

Results. I played 24 games with the deck and was able to pull of 20 wins 4 losses.
