This deck is really bad imo, i have every card shown but after playing a couple of games with it, the win rate is horrible going at about 10% for now, this deck has literally no way to deal with aggros which are very popular now in the meta
Actually I have been thinking for a while now, wht has no one used conceal with Malygos? :|
It may be a stupid question, but I'm just curuous
With malygos decks it is more about spells for damage then buffing minions like regular miracle, so conceal is almost always replaced with something else.
Is this deck more affective than miracle
No, in this mets miracle is more effective. That's not to say maly isn't good, just that it's less efficient.
I'm actually playing both; IMHO, I feel more comfortable playing MalyRogue, it looks to me more stable.
I mean, with miracle if you don't draw gadgetzan your game is lost; also if you have an hand with coin, 2 prep and not a 4 drop.
Miracle it's more explosive and probably has an higher winrate, since every pro player plays it, but I believe that MalyRogue is way more funny and stable (and since there are only miracle rogue in ladder, for the opponent it's a surprise seeing a maly being casted; and what's more, they tipically spends all their resources against your board fearing a cold blood incoming).
Honestly, I have to say that miracle can win you a game at turn 7-8, Maly tipically needs at least turn 10.
There is a lot of one-of cards in here. Have you tried doing a Reno variant of this?
"Malygos: Don't play this deck if you don't have Malygos."
why? I replaced it with Captain Greenskin and it's working great.
Only works if it's a Golden Captain Greenskin, so OP.
see absolutely no point playing maly rogue, miracle is 5x better and can deal almost with every early aggression, where malyrogue cant and gets rushed...
Malygos is awesome, that's enough reason for me
this deck works is alot more combo reliant and harder to play thats what I personally think about it - you need to plan more moves ahead but Malygos Sinister Strike-Sinister Strike-Evisc-Evisc is OTK and pretty much no one is expecting it
with the addition of shadow strike to the rogue arsenal i actually think its easier to not go face in alot of situantions sure you might have to use face but then again its all a matter of tempo gain for you which eventually wins you the game - I do agree with youwhen you say that this is reliant on things going their way but if you think about it this deck has always been like this sure you had healbots but now with the board control you can keep the malygos evisc sinister strike is enough to end the game.
been wanting to try this deck forever, finally got malygos in pack last week and saved the dust for second prep. it's really fun, but i'm struggling against classes that play a lot of minions early. is that just normal and to be expected? evolve shaman are the absolute worst for me
i'm only rank 8 by the way, nothing impressive
How good is Xaril in this deck, why is he better than teacher/senjin?
Xaril can give you the toxin that deals 2 damage, which fits with the purpose of this deck. Or you can get the toxin to help you drawing a card and so on.
Toxin utility (on this deck): damage > draw > stealth > attack and return to hand.
BTW I don't consider it a must have, but it's very good if you can use. If you don't, just replace it with Violet Teacher.
Hmm Ive been playing miracle for some time but i do have some questions about a couple cards you can prolly answer 1. Is sprint that necessary? I dont find that you run out of hand too often with the GA 2. Is the heal worth removing in place for harrison? Esp if youre running sprint? And dont you feel the need for another SS using malygos? Thanks for the deck good luck and keep it up :)!
- Mistyy
Sprint is in here for three reasons:
1. 2nd Auctioneer feels more like a 2nd minion rather than a draw mechanic.
2. Saves spells for Malygos.
3. The absence of Conceal makes Auctioneer less powerful.
Harrison is a must because it gives our bad match ups a chance: Warriors, Hunters, Shamans.
Two Sinister Strikes causes more Dead Hands, which a lot of people complain about when playing these type of Rogue decks.
