HeyGuys it's your favorite non-girl girl gamer again :^) With the release of Whispers of the Old Gods I've been playing almost exclusively Miracle Rogue on ladder and I recently reached top 50 legend with it, gotta share the love with you guys now!
So what did the Old Gods bring us? There are a lot of pretty good rogue cards in this expansion like Journey Below and Undercity Huckster as well as Xaril, Poisoned Mind. Also Shadow Strike is a decent removal spell. However most of those minions are more themed around a deathrattle deck with Unearthed Raptor and N'Zoth, the Corruptor and don't really fit the Miracle Rogue playstyle.
The reason why this deck is so good at the moment is because it punishes greedy control decks and besides from Shaman and maybe Zoo the game has become much slower which is perfect for Miracle Rogue. Most decks don't really have a good answer to a stealthed Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
It's not really good against Shamans so you kinda have to dodge those on ladder, but it's not impossible to sneak a win against them. The loss of Blade Flurry however makes winning games against Midrange Shaman a lot more difficult.
Good against:
Tempo Warrior, C'Thun Druid, Control Priest, Midrange Hunter, Reno Warlock, Raptor Rogue
Decent against:
N'Zoth Paladin, Control Warrior, Zoo
Weak against:
Aggro Shaman, Midrange Shaman, Freeze Mage, Tempo Mage
Card Choices
1x Shadow Strike
I only play one copy of this card, but it's still a really good single target removal spell. Kills threats like Emperor Thaurissan with just one card and also deals with popular minions llike Bloodhoof Brave really well if you have spell damage available. It's also not that bad if you use it on 4 health minions because you're trading cards 1:1 most of the time and you don't have to use Backstab + Eviscerate on some minions anymore.
2x Violet Teacher
Pretty good card, I wouldn't go without it in any rogue deck that runs Preparation and a lot of other spells. Gives you another card besides Gadgetzan Auctioneer that benefits from a large amount of cheap spells. It's also my favorite color.
No Xaril, Poisoned Mind
I get that it's a really good card and synergizes very well with Gadgetzan Auctioneer, but I think it's too slow for this version of Miracle Rogue. With this deck you really want to kill your opponent as fast as possible with Leeroy Jenkins if possible. You don't really want to play many turns after you use your Gadgetzan Auctioneer and before that the other 4 drops are better at dealing damage and developing a good board.
I don't have Leeroy Jenkins, Bloodmage Thalnos and/or Edwin VanCleef, what am I supposed to do with my life?
Play Raptor Rogue instead.
Mulligan Info
The mulligan is really difficult with this deck and heavily depends on the matchup and your overall experience with the deck. For example against Warlock which is most likely a Zoo deck you obviously want the Backstabs and SI:7 Agents to deal with their early game, however if you keep too many cards which are good against one deck archetype you can get in trouble if it is in fact something like Reno Warlock. It's always good to keep a 4-drop if you have the coin and sometimes Azure Drake against control matchups. SI:7 Agent is almost always a keep except against Warrior. Preparation is always a keep.
Just experiment a little with this deck and you might get a feeling of what's good in your opening hand and what's not, but it takes a lot of practise to get good at Miracle Rogue mulligans.
Stuff
Thanks for reading guys, if you liked it +1 so other people get a chance to see it as well. Please don't -1 if you're bad at playing this deck :(
Greetings go out to my boy TheChiv for his new monitor.
tl;dr difficult deck to play, better if you have the coin

Oh yeah and follow me on twitter for more hearthstone rant and other more or less irrelevant stuff everyday!
I did play this exact deck on rank 4 and rank 3 today. I used to play Dogs miracle yogg and the changes is definitely worth it, this is what i changed from Dogs's miracle:
-1 Yogg Saron
-1 Shiv
-1 Earthenring Farseer
-1 Xaril
+1 Leeroy
+1 Fan of Knives
+2 Violet Teacher
This has been working really good, I'm able to reach lethal much earlier now.
- 2 violet teacher + 2 shiv
I know Tomb Pillager is a huge for miracle, but i dont have em, any replace? Maybe x2 Journey Below and try 2 get some creatures? Or x1 Journey Below x1 Xaril, Poisoned Mind.
- Violet
+ Xaril
Leeroy Jenkins
Absolutely Edwin first, he's a core card in any miracle deck (even those that don't use Leeroy). And many times he's a win-condition with Conceal by himself.
I run 1x Teacher and 1x Xaril. Xaril is a bit underestimated. He can sometimes give you a clutch poison that you need to win the game. And with the amount of warriors running around 2x teacher won't get as much value.
I removed one Violet Teacher for Xaril.. Climbing now.. Will update you with stats :)
The only card I don't have yet is Bloodmage Thalnos, what is the best replacement for this card ?
Hai, so I didn't manage to get my hands on Tomb Pillager yet, and I know that the card is pretty important in any rogue deck, but what would be your sub for it?
Thanks for the suggestions, ya I have Xaril, I like the card a lot haha, I'll try to replace it with Shiv
