Hey guys I'm back with my second deck, this time its mill rouge.
Introduction:
This deck is a very skill based deck, requiring you to have a good understanding of what your opponent is playing and how to use your cards wisely. It usually tries to bring your opponent to fatigue while milling lots of cards to kill them. However, it can also be used to outlast aggro decks (This is much harder without Deathlord or Antique Healbot however.
Card choices:
Refreshment Vendor instead of Cult Apothecary: Refreshment Vendor is by far more consistent than Cult Apothecary. It has a solid 3-5 body, making it good for trading whereas Cult Apothecary rarely heals you for more than 4 and costs too much mana for it's ability.
Doomsayer: Man this card is such a must have... There have been a bunch of zoo locks running around standard recently, doomsayer counters them perfectly. I think this will have to replace Blade Flurry for the time being...
Thanks for reading, I'll make a more detailed explanation and guide when I have the time.
If this deck becomes popular enough, I will create a mulligan and replacement guide at 15 upvotes! Thank you again for visiting my deck!
Been trying different mill decks for this season with mixed success. Do you have a replacement for King Mukla?
Nice deck! I also play Mill rogue albeit a cheaper F2P deck. I got Nat, The Darkfisher from the free packs and I have got to say I'm not really impressed. :/ I wish his stats were higher but his ability in general isn't that reliable and he is only really effective in the ultra-late game. Otherwise pretty good deck I would switch him with a Dark Iron Skulker for more board clear utility.
Thanks! I also unpacked Nat, The Darkfisher. As you said, his ability matches the decks theme, but isn't all that reliable. The reason why I like to keep him is that he's great for early game trading and at the same time still sometimes causes your opponent to draw. I don't have Dark Iron Skulker right now, but I'd say he's a good addition to this deck. If you have it I would replace a doomsayer for him because their both meant to clear the board, Skulker just gains some more tempo in the process.
