The deck is focused on buffing minions and finishing off the advesary with big blows. Shadow Word: Pain  and Shadow Word: Death serve as control. Silence works as control as well as allowing Ancient Watcher to attack in the early game. Mind Control and Deathwing are there to help the player to get out of tight spots in late game.
