Update 8/19/2016
+2 Firelands Portal +1 Sorcerer's Apprentice
-1 Arcane Intellect -1 Polymorph -1 Doomcaller
I absolutely love firelands portal. It an amazing tempo play, if you have an even board or are even slightly behind this card can turn the entire game around on turn 7, gets even better if you can keep azure drake alive.
I replaced a poly with Sorcerer's Apprentice, it's nice early game if you can get off a fireball or frostbolt on the cheap and continue to control board.
An extremely cheap budget deck.
Please post any comments suggestions below!!
Mulligan Strategy: You are absolutely fishing for Mana Wyrm + low cost spells. I always tend to keep frostbolt as well regardless of if I draw Mana Wyrm.
Keep Beckoner of Evil, or Cult Sorcerer. I also tend to hold onto twilight elder especially if I have the coin,
C'thun! So I would only recommend keeping C'thun if you also draw at least a couple early drops. C'thun is the finisher in this deck, but you can easily win games at lower ranks with just the tempo minions and great mage spells.
UPDATED: Here is an upgraded non-budget version for those have been asking.

Deck I made on a free account.
I was able to build this deck using only the dust from the free packs you get and the first free arena run.
If there is enough interest I will make a brief guide on how to play it.

I make these decks to give f2p players some fun decks to try out instead of just druid c'thuns. I sometimes sacrifice making the deck slightly better to put in new and fun cards. Personally I'd rather have fun and win 50% percent of the time then net deck and win 60% of the time.
You really don't need ice barrier, cult sorcerer is much better.
Still a great deck, responds really good to the curent meta.
Spent 600 dust, went 0/10, uninstalled
Best deck ever!
I did play on standard to try it out, casual even.
And if I was the only one who was losing with it I would blame myself. But this deck couldn't be more straightforward, it just isn't particularly good.
When I do win it's a matter of sheer luck of the draw and the opponent not playing a better deck.
So don't be like that
Make a video winning 5 games in a row with this exact same deck, I'll send you 10 euros via paypal.
Although I bet you couldn't even pull off 2, same as everyone else.
Ty
I'm crushing with it. You should brush up on your fundamentals.
I changed Sen'jin into Emperor
Made a few changes: 2x Forgotten Torch instead of 2x Fireball and 1x Reno Jackson instead of Faceless Summoner.
Results:
I have won like 6-7 games in a row and got from Rank 20 - Rank 19 to Rank 16 (and 2 stars).
Thank you for the deck :)
Bleeerh kinda crappy, needs a lucky hand in order to do sth
Amazing deck thanks a lot for making it :D
I'm using that, thanx
Have you gotten to legendary with this deck?
Is there any way to fit Ethereal Conjurer and Forgotten Torch to this deck?
[card]Forgotten Torch[/card] instead of Fireball
how to increase the deck to make it monster !!!
Antonidas too slow in this meta
What should i replace if i have Forgotten Torch?
Now at the beginning of season its hard with this ,cause everyone plays fast zoo, aggro shaman, aggro warrior decks..
As someone who has recently come back to HS, this deck was cheap to put together but a lot of fun to play. I went from rank 25 to 17 with 10 straight wins and lost only once in 12 games. Thanks for a great entry level deck. I may add Brann Bronzebeard and or Twin Emperor Vek'lor to this to try to push it higher!
went from 17 to 10 in 5 hours on the last day of the season
Thanks for that deck !!
