Cast as many spells as possible: Each one will fuel the reawakening of Yogg-Saron.
Wow, Servant of Yogg-Saron has not been kind to me *at all*. In four plays he's cast damage spells on himself each time. Definitely replacing with E. Conjurer.
I wouldn't. Half my games are won before I ever see Yogg because of the tempo Flamewakers can give.
First game with the deck. I swapped the two Forbidden Flame for Forgotten Torches. The Cabalist tomes are really good at generating spells.
I ran a low budget version of this deck-- WotOG Mukla in place of Antonidas, Arcane Missiles instead of Forbidden Flame, Arcane Int instead of Cabalist Tome-- and it was pretty fun. Not sure if it was GOOD, but Yogg was always hilarious, usually cleared the board, and often threw Fireballs and Pyroblasts at my face.
If nothing else, it's unpredictable.
What can i cut to add rhonin ?
Animated Armor and hope Yogg Saron doesn't kill him.
But I've done many Yogg Saron tests. If you cast less than 10 spells, you'll have a slightly stronger field (with the opponent having lost most but not all of their minions), less HP than what you started with but not near fatal, and a few extra cards in hand. If you cast 20 spells, the entire field will contain nothing or tokens that you summoned after killing everything, your hand should be 8 to 10 cards, and you will have 3 or more secrets. 30+ spells means the board is 100% dead or your half is filled with tokens, your hero has over 3 attack, you have 5 secrets and 10 cards in hand while your opponent has lost some value.
In each playtest, I only died once, when I DOOM!'d a board where I drew 11 cards way into fatigue. Other than that, Yogg Saron never killed me in these tests. It never won me the game, as everything died, but with 5 secrets and 10 cards in hand, I was unstoppable.
So don't worry about protecting yourself with Animated Armor or some other janky stuff you can find. Just try to get as many spells for Yogg Saron.
With 12 Spells in the deck, + 2 from Spellslingers, + atleast 6 more from the Cabalist's Tomes. I'm not counting the fireballs you might get from Antonidas, but this Yogg-Saron is looking Incredible if you somehow last that long! :D
i think that yogg will be pretty good in fatigue mage or smth like this, battle cry mage
