I'm not a fan of N'Zoth and forlorn stalker. N'Zoth has great value, but is so incredibly slow. The meta might slow down, but for a hunter to play a deck with a ten mana old god...not sure it'll be that slow. And I want to be likely to hit two minions before I want to play forlorn stalker. I see forlorn stalker finding a place in a wild format deck with even more deathrattles and feign death.
Midrange hunter is my favorite deck. I really hope it comes back in the meta.
Yeh I agree, you either make this a death rattle deck or you make it midrange...but I think that midrange might always be a death rattle coz you get so much value from that synergy...
Same, Personally I have over 2K wins with midrange hunter and I tend to fall back on the class regardless of the meta. I think that there is a lot of interesting cards that midrange hunters are going to be able to make use of. I think Midrange hunter is going to be a bit slower than any of the previous incarnations because of the loss of lots of its early game minions, however I think that is best since the majority of the cards seem to indicate that the meta will be slower overall
Nah I think you just run 2 hunters marks. You get so much value out of all the sticky minions, unleash, fiery bat, savannah, and especially infested wolf...
I think that forlorn stalker may be a bit weak here with only 7 deathrattle creatures
It might be but at the same time the deck is only running 1 copy meaning that it is meant more as a situational card then a key card. I would say that that considering it is the only 3 mana minion that isn't random (animal companion) and it occasionally will synergize with your minions in your hand (meaning that you can play it on 3 without having to have had already played certain minions on 1 and 2 to get the full effect means that this card is pretty good.... Now that I think about it is really good, 3 mana huffer without charge that can potentially strengthen your following turns... 4/2 means that it does what huffer does: it has implied taunt, it is too dangerous to not deal with because of potential damage it can deal either to their face or board means they need to spend resources to deal with it before doing anything else.
Sure, if Ram Wrangler would always get his battlecry. The problem is he's inconsistent, and a bit of a win-more card that could also lose you the game if you end up playing him onto an empty board. Stranglethorn tiger will always be a decent choice, and isn't easy to clear due to his stealth.
Of course, with Infested Wolf coming into play, ram wrangler should get a lot more consistent. Piloted Shredder has been replaced with a sticky four drop with beast tags, so turn 5 ram wrangler just got a lot, lot better.
So the question is, do you want a successful ram wrangler 80% of the time, or a stranglethorn 100% of the time?
looks fun.
