TOP 500 ! i had a streak with 12-0!!
Hi! Im a three time legendary player. I am a casual player from Sweden and with full time job and two kids at ages of 2 and 3 there is only room for casual gaming. (4-7 games a day) But i did push it to legend three times ! (TotemShaman, Facehunter and the hated Secretdin) (4 times now, 2x totemShaman) and to be honest i did play more than casually now when standard got released :) But the Legend is real !
Mulligan: Tunnel Trogg,Totem Golem, Jeweled Scarab, Tuskarr Totemic,Stormforged Axe.
Feral Spirit with coin combined with tunnel trogg, concider keeping Lightning Bolt/Rockbiter Weapon vs Mage,Shaman,Priest could work against Warlock to get rid of a Knife Juggler, Northshire Cleric, Tunnel Trogg,Mana Wyrm Lightning Bolt also help our tunnel trogg to get that important extra attack.
*UPDATE: Currently testing -1 Lightning Bolt +1 Flametongue Totem with big success !
If you get Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem concider keeping Lightning Storm vs aggro and keeping Flamewreathed Faceless or Master of Evolution with a good starting hand doesnt hurt.
(Who said Totemic Might is a bad card to get from Spellslinger ? :D).
this is my own version of midrange Shaman. With a nerf of Big Game Hunter we might find some nice value of Flamewreathed Faceless. No more annoying temposwing against you at turn 4. I really like the new legendary card Hallazeal the Ascended but it wont fit in this type of archtype. But im sure it will fit in a more control deck. We also have 5 buffs for Tunnel Trogg which i think is enough. i dont count Lightning Storm in.
*WEAPON: Hammer of Twilight over Doomhammer after reading the comments, will be fun to test out. (so far nothing to complain about).
*Brann Bronzebeard with all the battlecries all i see is value !
Master of Evolution is also a nice addition to this set even though it gives a random minion. It also alows us to trade with one of our minions and then "heal" it and upgrading the minion at the same time, Value ! its a little bit situational as you actually need a minion on the board but with a solid 4/5 body it might be good either way.
i will try only start with 1 copy of Hex and Feral Spirit as we use two Jeweled Scarab. This card has nice value as Shaman has very strong 3-cost cards. this card also works as card draw along with Azure Drake and Mana Tide Totem. Jeweled Scarab alows us to draw Healing Wave when needed, Elemental Destruction or Lightning Storm if they established a big board and ofcourse that second Hex or Feral Spirit the choices feels endless.

This card has insane value as it will get reduced cost from even pressing your heropower! aside from that we have cards like Tuskarr Totemic,Totem Golem and Mana Tide Totem to ensure we will have a valuable taunt to play when needed. Remember, we only need two totems summoned to get value ! Just think about lategame, Dropping this at lets say 0-2 mana followed by a Fire Elemental Talk about temposwing !
*Another update made me put Al'Akir the Windlord in the deck now when i took out Doomhammer for Hammer of Twilight so we can get that finish combo of with our Rockbiter Weapon
*I also took out my Flame Juggler for Ragnaros the Firelord so i got that extra threat and extra endurance !
*Possible changes depending on meta:
1 Azure Drake out Harrison Jones (weaponheavy)
1 Lightning Bolt out 1 Stormforged Axe (to combat aggro)
Flametongue Totem out for Stormforged Axe (combat aggro/buff Tunnel Trogg i did this.
1 Mana Tide Totem out 1 Hex in. i did this change
1 Fireguard Destroyer out 1 Twilight Summoner/Flamewreathed Faceless in

Very solid deck. Only thing i see that is sort of bad is that this decks early game is pretty situational. Other decks run flame juggler for example. Totem golem sometimes screws with your curve, flametongue is really bad early game unless you somehow got lucky with double trogg, i also mulligan away jeweled scarab because a 1/1 doesnt have very much impact but maybe i should keep it to get 3 drops, just feels really slow and situational in the early game. Other than that i love this list so much.
This deck does very well against midrange and actually pretty damn well against control because you can take your time to outvalue them, for example find brann + scarab and hoard rockbiter and flametongue to use as burst for al'akir. I just get absoloutely smashed by certain aggro shamans, specifically the totem variant. Ill just give you my stats, propably wont tell you something you dont already know but hey... It was better earlier today, think im tilting havent moved an inch out of rank 11 for an hour.

I think this deck is what i'm looking for. For now, i just removed 1 Hex and added 1 Water Totem to draw card in low mana.

Deck is pretty solid.. 5-0 ATM.. If you play your cards correctly you have an answer for everything on every turn. Every game I've played so far I've had a full board and had no problem with taking control over the board. Great deck man Thumbs up!
Only lost one, to mage with a lucky yogg-saron. :/ Other then that the deck is definitely nice!
Update: 11-0 win streak from rank 9 to rank 5. I'll try to hit legend with it by the end of the month. Hammer of Twilight replaced by Bloodlust really helps. Opponents just don't expect losing almost full health in one turn from totems and maybe 2 small minions.
That seems like a nice addition, but since using Bloodlust on a full board (usually with junk) versus an opponent has been one of the two oldest Shaman tactics since beta, you can definitely expect opponents to know it's coming in that kind of deck.
Replacement Al'akir ???
You could propably throw in a doomhammer for the crazy burst it can bring ;)

Since Shamans are all over the place right now, the first counter that everyone is using is including an Ooze or Harrison, so Doomhammer is not a particularly good idea, especially since in this decklist it was replaced (wisely) with Hammer of Twilight.
Unfortunately Al'Akir seems pretty important here since he can control the board, protect you for a while and then evolve into something good (and healthy) with the two Master of Evolutions, but if you see that you can maintain some good board presence around turn 5 in most of your games, you can try a Bloodlust or a Thunder Bluff Valiant.
Depends on the rank I guess, I didn't bump into anyone using having Haonesrrison Jones when I use my Doomhammer. Rank 10 :)
They propably just don't play it because they will overdraw...

is it worth to craft ragnaros now?
Although the same question is about 4 posts below this one... (come on read...) the answer is yes. Rag does not only work in this deck but many other decks aswell.
Looks like a fun deck but I hate shammy hero power. What would you sub out for sir finley?
Doomhammer was said higher up. Combos with Rockbiter for 10 damage burst, but can be used for board control, same as Al'Akir.
beside doomhammer is there any card i can swap wif ? ><
I run Bloodlust and Fire Elementals for now, they seem to work ok. I definitely recommend crafting Doomhammer though, it's really good for burst and works in both midrange and aggro decks.
Bloodlust is a great finisher, because if you have any kind of board you can burst for 3 extra damage per minion. At 5 minions/totems you get an extra 15 damage on top of what the minions already do. It's almost useless if you're not doing an OTK though, so just one is probably good.
