Hey fellow Hearthstone Players! Here's the first of my collection of Gimmicky Decks!
While I see the joy in crafting the most powerful deck and climb the ladder quickly, I find that I get more joy in pulling the most ridiculous combos in gimmick decks. No doubt that they don't consistently pack a punch, but when they do, you'll really laugh out loud.
So first up, a Warrior focused on Enraging and getting damage to buff up the minion. I have included as many enragers as possible: Raging Worgen, Tauren Warrior, Amani Berserker and Spiteful Smith. While I do know that there's Angry Chicken, but it's just seemed impossible for me to be able to enrage it. Hence until the day can find a way to buff the chicken, it'll not be added to this deck.
Other cards that I think synergizes well with the enrage mechanic would be Frothing Berserker, Whirlwind, Cruel Taskmaster, Inner Rage, Rampage, Charge. You can easily get Frothing Berserker to be buffed up from 2/4 to a 4/4 by trading minions. Protects it from Shadow Word and this itself matches with the gimmick of this deck, which is to buff up your minions by taking damage.
With this deck, I had managed to pull off the ridiculous combo of a Raging Worgen + Charge + Inner Rage + Rampage. That's a 11/5 creature with Windfury and Charge.
To protect my angry minions, I rely on Grommash's weapons to cleave away any standing threats. Hence the addition of Fiery War Axe, Arcanite Reaper and Gorehowl. Since there are weapons, why not a Bloodsail Raider? I don't know if Dread Corsair would be a better choice. Gurubashi Berserker seems like a good solid creature too.
But if you're constantly taking damage from using weapons, shield is definitely important to protect yourself. I find the possibility of removing Bloodsail Raider with Shield Block as Shield Block provides the required armor plus a card draw to draw into your enragers or buffs. If you just want card draw, Acolyte of Pain is a good option as it synergizes well with Cruel Taskmaster and Whirlwind to provide a definite card draw, and a 3/2 minion still trades pretty well. Battle Rage is probably another viable option for card draw.
I would appreciate any comments on this deck to make it slightly better. Till then, have fun!
Deck is piece of shit. Every time you sitting without cards and taking damage in your face. All combos is something your opponent say - WOW, and than he making his combo till you are dead. Deck like once to surprise your enemy nothing else...
Worgen + Charge + Inner Rage/Taskmaster + Rampage = <3 I pulled that off a few times... kind of want to add those back into my control deck now.
Right? Haha. That feeling when you know you took your opponent by surprise with a sudden 22 damage finisher.
