Currently rank 5 with it, 20-0.
Not refined at all, Al'Akir would probably fit well here but i don't have it..
46 wins 6 losses atm.
Just started on NA at rank 12 with this deck. -1 Doomhammer/+ Al'Akir, i'll report back in a bit.
Currently sitting in rank 9 with it, 13-3, 79.6% WR. There really is no place for Al'Akir in this deck/meta i think, most of the time it's just a dead card in hand from my experience. I crafted Doomhammer and it felt immediately better, like it was a completely different deck.
Trying out - 1 Zombie Chow, -1 Mana Tide Totem / +2 Lava Burst
*update* 25/03 Well, just helped a friend pilot the deck to rank 5 on EU, after having some hard time getting out of rank 7 he eventually found a win streak to what is his highest achieved rank to the date. After trying out some changes we finally settled on -1 Mana Tide Totem / +1 Lava Burst for that extra burst damage.
You must have had some crazy luck to go 20-0 with this at those ranks on NA.
Well, don't know about NA, i play mainly on EU. Ofc i had a couple of losses meanwhile..
so, dont write about 100% :D

Tried this for three games, won all three so far. Replaced a Fire Elemental with Al'Akir.
Don't know if Fire Elemental is the right trade for Al'Akir but i'm glad it's working for you mate.
Fire elemental is irreplaceable. It is a huge tempo gain.
I do agree. I've been lucky not to miss it for those three games, and the situations where it would have been useful, Al'Akir did almost the same thing. Thunder Bluff Valiant is better to take out.
I wouldn't put Al'Akir in the deck at all..i'm trying out -1 Thunder Bluff + Loatheb
