This Deck is an implementation of the most effective known strategy to beat Garr with ease and cheaply (no cards above common rarity besides the keystone of the deck).

This deck revolves around two cards: Circle of Healing and Mass Dispel. The first one to delay the death of his Firesworns and the second one to make them inoffensive. The rest of the deck is aimed at making you draw those two cards and to provide burst damage once his Firesworns have been dealt with.

  • Obviously, you should try to mulligan for the two aforementioned cards. Any card that isn't one of them should be replaced.
  • Keep your Silencesto counter Mark of the Wilds
  • Be careful with Northshire Clerics!  They should imperatively be removed before you play CoH if you want to avoid self-mill! If you don't need them anymore, let them die to Garr's Hero Power or put them back in your hand with Youthful Brewmaster or in the worst case Shadow Word: Pain them.
  • The biggest danger in Garr's deck is Bloodlust. If he uses it, he can deal 21 damage to your face so always keep your health above that amount. Since he always Hero Power at the beginning of his trun, he won't play BL before turn 6. Power Word: Glory allows you to recover from it.
  • Gurubashi Berserker is OP here.
  • Don't try to beat him with fatigue, because with all your card draw you will always be the first to hit fatigue.

Priest is the best class to deal Garr as the mechanics of the fight allows you to turtle up and build a good board. This deck has an excellent winrate, the only way for you to lose is if you are really unlucky with card draw or if he casts 2 Bloodlusts in a row.

I kept this deck cheap to the detriment of effectiveness and rapidity. There are plenty of cards you can replace if you have the means to. Adding a second Mass Dispel is an example.
