This is NickChipper's face hunter that I have reached legend this season.

Mulligan: gnome, sergant, creeper, juggler, scientist. With coin and 2nd drop glaivezooka. With 1st and 2nd drops horserider and animal companion. The main idea of mulligan to have good mana curve in the game, it's important.
I don't have snake traps! What to do?
Keep calm bro. Read it. (Here is the guide from the author. I translated and adapted it. )
Key combination traps in decks Hunter.
1. If you play 2 x glaivezooka and 1x eaglehorn bow, and play 2x mad scientists,the maximum benefit can bring 3 traps, the combination of which mean the game with Snake trap. Key combination with Snake TRAP: Snake + 2 Bear, 2 Snake + 1 freez, 2 freez + Snake
2. If you play 1x glaivezooka and 2x eaglehorn bow and 2 play mad scientist, you can take: 2 freez + 1 explosive, 2 explosive + 1 snake, 2 explosive + 1 bear.
3. If you do not scientists, you maximum can afford to play 2 traps in the deck. 2 explosive, 2 freez, explosive + snake, Bear + Snake.
I have Leeroy Jenkins! I wanna use it!
No problem bro. You can put it instead of 1 Arcane golem, but Leeroy is slower. Sometimes you play golem turn 3 to have nice mana curve and in this situation Leeroy - dead card.
The video below will give you some idea of how best to play this deck. Mostly shown matchup with the zoo.

The general rule of face hunter is that you want to use your hero power almost every turn past 3, but sometimes you need to make other plays and pass a turn of using steady shot/ hero power. For an example if your opponent have a lot of 1 health minions and you have a knife juggler + unleash or snake trap in your hand, it will be correct to pass a turn of your hero power.

Any replacement for the Glaivezooka, Quick Shot, Abusive Sergeant, Leper Gnome, Knife Juggler, Arcane Golem and Argent Horserider ?

"Sometimes you play Arcane golem on turn 3 for a good curve." >.> you clearly dont understand how to play aggro if youre playing a ARCANE GOLEM on turn 3
I think he knows something if he reached legend with this deck..
Had this 1/10 situation once vs druid who already ramped twice ... so doesn't matter anymore i thought, in the end i won cause he probably haven't drawn swipe and just one Druid of the Claw.
Agree Arcane golem 95% of the time is a finisher... unless you're opponent is already at 10 mana... which he shouldn't be with face hunter or you already lost.

double snake fails against zoo these days......6/10 fact is this will feed more then it wins. you would be better playing anything else.
But snake is favoured here cause of double glaivezooka and Hunter'smark also works better when there are pretty good chances for 1 drops on board.
And what about better "playig anything else", he already reached legend and a russian streamer or so is pretty sucessful with it too though, always seen him around 100 legend.
Still cant deal with heavy taunt decks like any thing dragon, Warriors, zoo is a coin flip, murloc paladin lols at it, shaman t-bags it. I mean I faced the exact design 12 times today on stream each time different deck. Each time free win. Its not a bad design...Just not a good one as its one of the first basic decks people learn and thus learn to play against.
Well yeah everybody knows the terms favoured matchup and unfavoured matchup. Yes during the last card additions face-hunter got a few more unfavoured matchups butt still a good curving facehunter can beat anything, when the cards are right.
Not gonna say anything about your "stream experience" discussing that isn't worth it for me.
Also you ignored the point about several legend face-hunters, to make myself even more clear last season EU #1 was a Midrange-Hunter and #2 was NickChipper Face-Hunter and he's even again playing around rank 5 legend already (although seen him using one freeze trap instead of explosive last time), nuff said, facehunter can still be very strong but there is of course a differnce in the skill you can play it with.
Probably argument will come like it was luck OF COURSE IT WAS also LUCK, this is a card game luck and rng (in blizzs HS even more then others) is a big part of it.
Perhaps but ramping a zoo's giant doesnt sound overly promising. Also I already knew that and your argument is kinda moot as I know both of those players didnt play those decks all the way to those placements. This isnt to say any thing about the core design. The meta shift and in the current meta this design gives to much advantage to other aggro decks by cutting back on both a damage source and a removal in one card. Value wise in respect to current meta trends the trade off is sub par....And there is a difference in luck and taking calculated shots...
Not to mention your citing the EU and Im citing NA. While the meta is similar the diversity is not.
Luckily there's a Hunter's Mark when zoo plays their mostly one Sea Giant and with Knife Jugglar on board activating the snake trap is a little explosion plus non snake trap face-hunters can have problems activating Kill Command plus it is easer to play around explosive then snake.
You don't like facehunter ok but no matter how much effort you take to trying to write them down this deck achieved legend in this current meta, Nichchipepr reached high legend with this as one of his maindecks and i have also seen forsen quite often playing facehunter and there are even more and more comments of people saying this deck worked for them.
It was better once in the meta but it is still powerful and one of the fastest to climb the ladder when played properly.
