Hello guys! I'm NIRVANAO (aka Alexandron123, aka AkinaHinata), the professional Hearthstone player from Russia.
I saw Crane333 playing OTK-deck with two worgens and manipulator on G2CL few weeks ago. I modified his deck and find that it's very good and strong for ladder/competitive. Remember, this deck is very diffucult!
Matchups/strategy:
- Vs. Rogues: 90%-10%. Very good matchup. You can draw your combo faster than oil/mali rogue can draw her combo.
- Vs. Mages: 60%-40%. Freeze with good start hand can beat our patron warrior, versus tempo/mech all that you need is some weapons in early game and draw faster than mage.
- Vs. Druids: 80%-20%. Easiest matchup! You can draw combo faster than druid, you can make 4-6 Patrons on turn 6 and he'll cry...
- Vs. Shamans: 30%-70%. Face shamans are too bad for us!( We have 2 Shield Block but it isn't enough...
- Vs. Paladins: 70%-30%. We can EAT secret paladins for breakfast! But we can't survive three-four doctors in a row..
- Vs. Priests: 65%-35%. Good matchup if you can FAST, FAAAST draw.
- Vs. Warlocks: 60%-40%. Our deck is hm... little specific and we can beat renolocks if they don't have a lot of taunts on the board. Zoo suffers from early weapons and slams.
- Vs. Warriors: 65%-35%. Against patron you can draw your patroncombo faster than your opponent, against controlwar you should fast draw and kill him yet it doesn't have a lot of armor.
- Vs. Hunters: 55%-45%. Face hunters can beat us if they have some lucky (SMOrc, SMORc, KappaPride). Freezing/bear traps is a problem in late too. You shoud make so many patrons as you can, but remember! Unleash the Hounds!
Mulligan:
- Always keep: Fiery War Axe, Acolyte of Pain.
- Never keep (!): Raging Worgen, Charge, Rampage, Battle Rage, Faceless Manipulator.
- Vs. Paladins: Fiery War Axe, Acolyte of Pain, Whirlwind, Slam, Death's Bite.
- Vs. Mages: Fiery War Axe, Acolyte of Pain, Slam, Death's Bite.
- Vs. Hunters: Fiery War Axe, Acolyte of Pain, Cruel Taskmaster, Slam, Shield Block.
- Vs. Shamans: Fiery War Axe, Death's Bite, Cruel Taskmaster, Slam, Shield Block,Acolyte of Pain.
- Vs. Warriors: Fiery War Axe, Death's Bite, Grim Patron, Slam, Shield Block.
- Vs. Priests: Fiery War Axe, Death's Bite, Slam, Shield Block, Acolyte of Pain.
- Vs. Rogues: Fiery War Axe, Death's Bite, Shield Block, Gnomish Inventor, Acolyte of Pain.
- Vs. Druids: Fiery War Axe, Death's Bite, Slam, Shield Block, Acolyte of Pain.
- Vs. Warlocks: Fiery War Axe, Acolyte of Pain, Slam, Death's Bite.
General strategy:
- Vs. Aggro: You should survive early game and find the worgen combo/patrons.
- Vs. Control: Maximum draw! Use Acolyte of Pain and combo Grim Patron/Battle Rage to draw as many cards as possible. Worgens' combo as finisher.
Tips:
- It's not worth playing Acolyte of Pain if you will only draw one card, 2 cards are your goal.
- You can use one Raging Worgen with Charge to clear the board/improve more face damage.
- Don't armor up against control unless you have taken dmg, it really improves your Battle Rage.
- You can clone 2-4 Grim Patron on turn 5-6 to beat opponents' tempo.
Worgens' combos:
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage=(3+2+1+2)*2=16. 6 mana cost.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage+Inner Rage=(3+2+1+2+2)*2=20. 6 mana cost.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage+Faceless Manipulator=((3+2+1+2)*2)*2=32. 11 mana cost. You need the Emperor Thaurissan on one or more parts of combo.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage+Inner Rage+Faceless Manipulator=((3+2+1+2+2)*2)*2=40. 11 mana cost. You need the Emperor Thaurissan on one or more parts of combo.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Charge+Inner Rage=(3+2+2+1+2)*2=20. 9 mana cost.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Charge+Inner Rage+Inner Rage=(3+2+2+1+2)*2=24. 9 mana cost.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage+Rampage=(3+2+1+2+3)*2=22. 8 mana cost.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage+Inner Rage+Rampage=(3+2+1+2+2+3)*2=26. 8 mana cost.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage+Rampage+Faceless Manipulator=((3+2+1+2+3)*2)*2=44. 13 mana cost. You need the Emperor Thaurissan on three or more parts of combo.
- Raging Worgen+Charge+Inner Rage+Inner Rage+Rampage+Faceless Manipulator=((3+2+1+2+2+3)*2)*2=52. 13 mana cost. You need the Emperor Thaurissan on three or more parts of combo.

I subbed Rampage for Grom. Having an additional burst win-con has proven to be invaluable!
Amazing versus Control decks, decent vs Secret if you draw well and they don't get their God curve. Struggles against decks that vomit their hand on the board if you don't get your removal. All in all, decent deck, and quite fun to play :)
Edit: Wow, when it rains it pours... Just went from rank 15 back to 18. Some games total blow-outs, others bad luck (both Executes in the last 6 cards, or Faceless the very last card, or opponent top-decking lethal at the last possible moment, Aggro paladin having 2x Divine Favor for 5+ cards while I don't draw a single Patron, etc etc).
Patron is not that consistent anymore..
Ive been playing ccg for a while now and I have been playing this game somewhat succesfull for quite some time.
I have played a lot of different decks and for this one I have to say: Ive never ever seen such a bad deck!
This is so heavily luck dependend and inflexible , playing it made me wanna puke!
Sorry you couldn't clinch out a win, maybe try something easier like cancer paladin, or facehunter. I'm sure you'll LOVE those.
Great remake! I've seen this deck go around before but the tweaks you made was simply awesome! Love the Faceless Manipulator! Keep it up!
What would replace deaths bite, because that would make the deck standard legal when the time comes, any ideas?
very hard to find a card to fill its place, as its such a powerfull weapon with usefull deathrattle. Id personaly put in a shield slam and another rampage, but it will probable require a different list for this deck to work in standard. At least in my opinion
I am currently testing Finnley (for extra card draw or Fireball for patron/worgen combo without Inner Rage. And +1 Brawl to help get into late game and combat early board pressure before turn 5 :) let me know your thoughts.
This deck is, without doubt, the most entertaining and rewarding deck I've ever played. I used to love the old Chinese Warrior OTK Control deck, without Grim Patron but it was a real pain getting all the combo pieces in hand and then hoping to land a good Emperor. Doubling up the combo pieces makes it a much more reliable deck, and you really get the opponent to hemorrhage removal on the Patrons. It's such a wonderful design. I've found it's not always the most consistent in this meta, but when it gets cranking, you can string together wins beautifully, and it's so much fun to play. A pure delight!!!
Really fun deck to play, it's really op if you consider you can deal 32 damage or more in one turn, with faceless if you get an emperor proc off. So far 8-0 with this deck at rank 6, seems good!
Fun deck! Finally a warrior deck that is fun and doesn't require very specific cards.
This is simply not true. I've played ~300 games with 8 different variations of Worgen/Patron OTK decks. Very often I didn't see my only charge until it was too late or got my only Worgen pulled on board because of Deathlord (and vs Priest it is really your ONLY win condition). It does make a huge difference to be able to draw your combo consistently every game. This is also the deck that I got the highest winrate with (61%). I struggled to beat control warrior and the addition of faceless manipulator solved this problem completely.
i always downvote fullstops like i down vote facehunter decks
Hello guys! I'm NIRVANAO (aka Alexandron123, aka AkinaHinata), the professional COPYCAT player from Russia.
Not so good..as stated, it's really hard to survive until OTK combo
I made a profile just to tell you that adding Kel'Thuzad and Enhance-0-Mechano has been game changers ;-) Other than that, fun deck!
This stupid deck is, for sure, not 72% winrate. Garbage? that's sure too, sorry
i'm sorry that you are bad
Don't feel like I like the deck. I like Charge+Alexstrasza+Inner Rage OTK with patrons much, much more. Because all those combo parts don't really help against aggro, and in above setup you need only one card: Charge as non-control card.
