Hey guys this is my Injured Camel Hunter deck that i finished #1 Legend EU with on 29/02/2016.
Here is me hitting #1 - http://imgur.com/YuhCDje
Here is my twitch where i regularly stream - http://www.twitch.tv/j4ckiechan
I have been tweaking this list for a couple of weeks and i think this version is very smooth, it is a minion based midrange Hunter with the potential for huge tempo swings.
I don't really like how clunky your hand can often be in standard midrange hunter lists, i would often end up with a hand full of weapons, secrets and Kill Command, i like having more minions in the deck so i can more consistently apply early pressure. This deck is much more focused on board control rather than going face.
When using Desert Camel you need to be aware of what 1 drops your opponent could get and if you have the board/hand to deal with it. I think Cult Master is currently the best draw mechanic for hunter as it is great when you have board control and is amazing with Unleash the Hounds.
Mulligan - Generally You are looking for early minions like Webspinner, Haunted Creeper, Flame Juggler and Knife Juggler. Glaivezooka is also really good for making favourable trades early on. Against aggro decks such as zoo and secret pala it is useful to keep Unleash the Hounds to help deal with their early board pressure. Against classes like with single high health targets you can also keep Hunter's Mark.
Match Ups (With a rough estimation of Winrates(Hunter/Enemy))
Druid (70/30) - This is generally a good matchup as you can apply early pressure which Druid can struggle to deal with. They usually don't run any 1 mana minions so Desert Camel is really strong against them. Also Hunter's Mark can give you amazing tempo when used on big minions such as Druid of the Claw.
Warlock - Zoo (50/50) - You want to fight for the board early on with strong cards like Haunted Creeper, Flame Juggler and Glaivezooka. However if you fall behind early on Knife Juggler and Unleash the Hounds on turn 5 can be extremely powerful and put you in a strong position, you can even hit Imp Gang Boss multiple times to get as many hounds as possible.
Warlock - Reno (60/40) - This is a good matchup. You have a lot of minions in your deck to consistently apply pressure, just make sure you don't overcommit on turn 4 as you can get very punished by AoE, ideally when they use AoE you want to still have a lot of minions in your hand to refill the board. When they use Reno Jackson you should already have a solid board so you can continue to push damage through. Hunter's Mark Is extremely effective when used against their big threats such as Twilight Drake.
Control Warrior (65/35) - This matchup is very similar to the Renolock matchup, just make sure you don't over commit as you don't want to get punished by Brawl. They struggle to deal with your bigger threats such as Savannah Highmane so if you already have a coupe of early minions in your hand you can consider keeping it in your mulligan.
Secret Paladin (45/55) - Getting early 2 drops down is very important, you need to fight for the board early on using your cheap minions and Glaivezooka. You can play around Mysterious Challenger by using Unleash the Hounds to activate their Noble Sacrifice and then using Hunter's Mark on the buffed minion.
Aggro Shaman (35/65) - This is difficult. This is probably the only matchup i would consider keeping Injured Kvaldir in my opening hand because you absolutely have to get some bodies on the board to kill their minions. Desert Camel Is pretty bad in this matchup as you can give them powerful cards like Tunnel Trogg.
Mage - Freeze (50/50) - You can win this as long as you keep putting on pressure on them while playing around their aoe. Also make the most of your hero power, it is very good for popping their Ice Block as soon as possible. Combining Hunter's Mark with other cards is you only way of dealing with their Frost Nova Doomsayer combo.
Mage - Tempo (55/45) - This is a close matchup, if you cannot deal with their aggression you will lose, they have limited minions so dealing with them is vital. They will often run out of cards early on and you can outvalue them.
Priest (45/55) - Against Priest Hunter's Mark is your best friend, always keep it in your opening hand as it destroys Deathlord and any other buffed minions. Also be wary when using Desert Camel as they have a lot of strong 1 drops, make sure you have the board/hand/weapon to deal with a 3 health minion.
Rogue (60/40) - Similar to midrange druid this is a good matchup. You can easily drop minions down early on and pressure them, they have limited heal, and you have Hunter's Mark to deal with their single minions.
Face Hunter (35/65) - They put so much damage down early on and with no heal in the deck you can struggle to come back, however Houndmaster can be amazing at saving you some health while putting the aggression back on them. Also you want get as much value out of your jugglers as possible as they have a lot of 1 health minions which you can pick off.
Tech Choices - I have tried multiple versions of camel hunter, initially using Mad Scientist with the likes of Snake Trap and Bear Trap. However i feel like this non secret list runs much nicer and is more consistent overall.
I hope this guide has been useful feel free to ask any questions in the comment section below, or tweet me at https://twitter.com/J4CKIE_HS
I like the innovative idea of the deck, but it loses to every aggro (35% win against aggro) and the Camel/Kvaldir synergy doesn't work half of the time, instead giving me a webspinner from the camel or I have both of the Kvaldirs in my hand. I still love the synergy and think it could be a great deck with some tweaks for anti-aggro.
the point of the deck is to summon your injured kvaldirs with the desert camel so you can get a board advantage by summoning 2 2/4's.
Savannah Highmane is one of the best, if not, the best 6 cost minions in the game. You basically are getting 10/9 in stats for only 6 mana. It is extremely hard to deal with. I think you should replace a different card with King Krush, such as a Glaivezooka.
Try something 1cost with a high stat line. Zombie chow for example. Could be good, could also be bad, you really dont want a zombie chow late game. Im sure theres something else though :)
I would suggest one Worgen Infiltrator and one Argent Squire
What about Huge Toad instead of Flame Juggler?
Better body and an immediate affect is better than a weaker body and a delayed effect. And the off chance your toad gets silenced
I have been enjoying the deck a lot. My confidence is always lower going against control decks, but I've been consistently winning somehow. Beating Secret pally, Control Warrior, and even against a Control Priest with 2 cards left in my deck (top deck Hunter's Mark against Deathlord was a godsend) Zoolock is usually a toss up with the win going to whoever gains the board in the first 3-4 turns (no surprise).
Currently 12 wins out of 18. Cant complain about a 67% winrate. Got me from rank 9 - rank 6!
Been hovering around 10 playing this deck.
I like it a lot, still fairly new to Hunter so I'm still learning when to stop trading and going aggressive, etc.
Although, I have noticed that the Flame Juggler sometimes becomes an annoying dead card in some matchups. I am thinking about replacing one with an owl to give me better matchups against other tempo or control. What do you guys think about this?
Really nice deck, just rushed through Rank 19 to Rank 15 with just one loss on R15. Thanks! :) Only one thing - I don't have Camels, so I've replaced them and Kvaldirs with Timber Wolf, Worgen Infiltrator, Multi-Shot and Powershot. Should I leave them or replace with something else?

Do you not see the benefit of the camel pulling a healthy 2/4 for you? It's not complicated.
Don't play this deck, you will lose your time!!!! SO BAD DECK! The season 23 maybe this work but now is pure shit!
Comments from people like you should be banned.
How abou giving any reasons why this deck might be bad? I started playing this deck (switched some cards) yesterday and reached rank 3 (started rank 5).
Because I face many secret Paladins, CW and Druids I chose this deck.
Ita Guide by Born2Burn have fun!
This deck move me from rank 6 with 2 stars to 11, I can't believe this shit
Smart idea playing this deck over and over again if you keep losing. Maybe you should start change your deck.... Or the game :)
played the deck for several hours and couldnt get out of rank 8. most games i was just frantically trying to draw houndmaster to taunt up before i died. the only easy wins were vs druid.
This is a troll deck don't use it.
Very consistent deck! Played 3 games and won 3 of 3 :).
