Hey there,
I'm a multiple legend player on the EU-server. Druid is my main class, but i don't like to play these standard decklists everyone runs, so i decided to invent something new.
This season i piloted this deck to legend rank. I've played this deck only and didn't get bored at any time (of course i had to do some changes, to finally find the best list to run, but i think this it is), going with a record of 111 wins within 156 matches.
A big advantage is, that your plays are unpredictable for your opponent. The reason is simple, there is noone playing something familiar to this.
Of course it affords a lot of dust to play it, so maybe not everyone will run the same decklist. But i think playing Naga Sea Witch is worth a try. Maybe you have some nice ideas, too.
To play this deck successful:
I. You should know the meta with all their decks.
II. Practice a lot
III. Dont overextend if its not needed, especially against classes with massive boardclears like Warlock and Warrior. Same as Paladin and Priest, but Secret Pala usually doesn't play Equality and Priest hasLightbomb so you can put defensive minions on board like Ancient of War and Ysera.
Mulligan
Keep always: Innervate, Darnassus Aspirant, Wild Growth, Mounted Raptor, Living Roots
Keep always if you have Ramp: Piloted Shredder, Keeper of the Grove
Keep if you have Ramp and Coin: Naga Sea Witch
Paladin: Keeper of the Grove, Swipe
Warrior: Piloted Shredder, Harrison Jones
Rogue: Keeper of the Grove
Hunter: Keeper of the Grove, if you can ramp Harrison Jones
Warlock: Keeper of the Grove, Swipe, Big Game Hunter is okay to keep, when you see a lot of handlocks playing
Priest: Keeper of the Grove
Shaman: Keep all early game cards
Druid: Piloted Shredder
Mage: Keeper of the Grove, Swipe is okay
General Strategy:
I. Fight for boardcontrol
II. Try to ramp into your 4 drops and if possible into Naga Sea Witch
III. You have a lot of healing sources in your deck with the double Ancient of Lore and Alexstrasza. You also have dreamcards from Ysera to bounce your own battlecry minions, if needed.
IV. Against small minions you have Baron Geddon. He is kind of the MVP in this deck.
V. Aviana is a must have. She makes this deck way better, as you can put an immense pressure on your opponent by playing her after Naga Sea Witch and any other minion, cause they now cost just 1.
Synergies
Ysera - Dreamcards // Dream + Battlecry minions
Naga Sea Witch + Aviana // Minions now cost 1
Aviana + Innervate +Ancient of Lore // Leads to some sick turns.
// With more sets released i bet this deck is going to be even better.

Have fun.
Any thoughts on kel'thuzad? I tried the witch a few times and one of my favored plays was say having her out with 8 mana play KT then run her into an enemy killing her, then you can use the three remaining mana on say a BGH or mounted raptor. She comes back at the end of the turn bringing cards back to 5 cost.
I've created almost the same deck a week ago, but haven't ended with tests yet. The main differences are: I placed Reno Jackson in the deck. Also most of the cards in my deck are 5+ (except ramp cards and 3 mana heal). I should say, it makes ur opponent to concede most of the times. But as I 'm missing some legendaries, I still have problem with Pals...
You can't coin arch thief since coin will cost 5 mana
Innervate doesn't cost 5, because you play innervate before you play the naga.
Any replace for Baron Geddon and Harrison? Nice deck
I Dropped Starfall for Geddon.
There is a place for Emperor Thaurissan? With Aviana it will be good
This deck is the definition of pay to win XD nice idea .. the meta should be very controllish for this o work though.. too much late game. but if you ramp the naga sea witch.. how do you actually play something? you need to ramp her turn 4 if anything..
Finally the staff put something on the front page that is actually creative!
The staff does nothing afaik, this is an automated system that'll only put the 6 most recently upvoted decks on top of the page for a few days
I'm trying out -alexstraza +rafaam right now.
this deck is fun but not for ladder - its too inconsistent
i get raped everytime by aggro nabs even with replaced ysera and ragnaros for deathlords
Gimmick...too much gimmick...zero consistency:
Priest - Loss
Hunter - Loss
Concede - Win
Paladin - Loss
Paladin - Win - perfect ramp, had naga
Mage - win - thought i had the naga/avaina combo but Naga got fireballed
Shaman - loss - completely destroyed Turn 5, had nothing but 7 mana cards in hand
Druid Loss - he had ramp, I had Harrison, Alex, Ysera and on turn 9 he combo'd the hell out of me
If you're reading this and "just need Aviana do *NOT* craft it, move along and play a traditional ramp that can actually work. You will mulligan and have all 7 mana drops as your opponent wrecks your face. You'll see the "combo" once every 6 games.
Is it cool? sure. Is it fun when it works? sure.
The goal is to climb. efficiently. This deck is neither efficient or consistent.
I couldn't even get 6 wins for my druid quest.
Whenever i see a deck: "70% win rate", I will make it right then and play it. Yes you will win/lose some but when you OVERWHELMINGLY get worked, it's pure fail.
This deck blows.
156 matches was all took you to get into Legend rank from your rank 15(after season reset)?
Deck was created 29/12, so I think this was used for legend in december
@Hatnisch - gratz on hitting legend with this deck, takes some real balls to play crazy stuff at rank 1
Hello, thank u for the share
Ive played few games with ur deck at rank 12/ 11 , win some, lose some (2/3 but two lose were very close (1hp) ) and we need a very good curve to win
I also play a guy who innervate the naga turn 3 and concede turn 4 because he cant play a thing, was hilarious, too bad i did not record it.
Ive got a cool games vs a paladin secret (rank 12) , the deck is very cool to play but at the begginning of the season, i feel theres too much aggro deck :(
I'll keep testing it on legend rank, thank u for the share, very fun deck to play.
As mentioned in my post below if you feel that the deck is too top heavy you can (and depending on meta should) add Druid of the Claw(s) or Sludge Belcher if you like it more. Always remember to mulligan hard for early removal versus most non-control decks.
To cut down the curve you can also replace harriosn jones with acidic swamp ooze :)
but thats quite a small number of dragons overall, dunno if this would work very well as a synergy
yeah of course, what a terrible advice...
I built a very similar Naga Witch Deck a few days ago and recorded some gameplay for it. Instead of 2 Living roots, I play one and a Wrath. To combat early aggresion I cut out 1 Ancient of War and put in a Druid of the Claw. Works really well and I was able to jump to rank 3 last season (just played it the last days of the month), hope that helps
