Hey there,
I'm a multiple legend player on the EU-server. Druid is my main class, but i don't like to play these standard decklists everyone runs, so i decided to invent something new.
This season i piloted this deck to legend rank. I've played this deck only and didn't get bored at any time (of course i had to do some changes, to finally find the best list to run, but i think this it is), going with a record of 111 wins within 156 matches.
A big advantage is, that your plays are unpredictable for your opponent. The reason is simple, there is noone playing something familiar to this.
Of course it affords a lot of dust to play it, so maybe not everyone will run the same decklist. But i think playing Naga Sea Witch is worth a try. Maybe you have some nice ideas, too.
To play this deck successful:
I. You should know the meta with all their decks.
II. Practice a lot
III. Dont overextend if its not needed, especially against classes with massive boardclears like Warlock and Warrior. Same as Paladin and Priest, but Secret Pala usually doesn't play Equality and Priest hasLightbomb so you can put defensive minions on board like Ancient of War and Ysera.
Mulligan
Keep always: Innervate, Darnassus Aspirant, Wild Growth, Mounted Raptor, Living Roots
Keep always if you have Ramp: Piloted Shredder, Keeper of the Grove
Keep if you have Ramp and Coin: Naga Sea Witch
Paladin: Keeper of the Grove, Swipe
Warrior: Piloted Shredder, Harrison Jones
Rogue: Keeper of the Grove
Hunter: Keeper of the Grove, if you can ramp Harrison Jones
Warlock: Keeper of the Grove, Swipe, Big Game Hunter is okay to keep, when you see a lot of handlocks playing
Priest: Keeper of the Grove
Shaman: Keep all early game cards
Druid: Piloted Shredder
Mage: Keeper of the Grove, Swipe is okay
General Strategy:
I. Fight for boardcontrol
II. Try to ramp into your 4 drops and if possible into Naga Sea Witch
III. You have a lot of healing sources in your deck with the double Ancient of Lore and Alexstrasza. You also have dreamcards from Ysera to bounce your own battlecry minions, if needed.
IV. Against small minions you have Baron Geddon. He is kind of the MVP in this deck.
V. Aviana is a must have. She makes this deck way better, as you can put an immense pressure on your opponent by playing her after Naga Sea Witch and any other minion, cause they now cost just 1.
Synergies
Ysera - Dreamcards // Dream + Battlecry minions
Naga Sea Witch + Aviana // Minions now cost 1
Aviana + Innervate +Ancient of Lore // Leads to some sick turns.
// With more sets released i bet this deck is going to be even better.

Have fun.
how sure are you that you have enough gold cards?
What is 71% Legend? Wouldn't it be better to be 100% Legend? Kappa.
Anyone having success with this deck?
Looks really interesting, and I'd love to play it, but I'd like to know it's working in the current meta before investing in some of those legendaries.
it works... but needs a lot of practise
Needs luck on card draw against aggro. Against midrange and control it does very well. I did -1 Ancient of War -1 Naga Sea Witch -1 Living roots +1 Nourish +1 Druid of the Claw +1 Wrath and am 10-4 at rank 11 right now
That's brilliant! I might have to find something to swap for KT. Possibly Baron Geddon as he has been a dead card for me most games.
Aviana + KT + Faceless = done
Built this deck just now to try it out, was going to tech in some heals, my only decent option besides Healing Touch Reno Jackson is dead in this deck with 10 dupes, unless you draw 1 of 10 in course of the game. Anyone else tech in some heal besides the Ancient of Lore?
I've played with more heals like healing touch, healbot and tree of life. But i think this version works better right now. Because against most decks you have to contest the board and never lose it because you don't have amazing board clears and your big threats can be easily dealt with hard removal and that makes you just lose the game if you're behind. That's why Shredder is better than Sen'jin in this deck i think. But of course you have a lot of defensive cards like cenarius, Alex, and the Ancients, of course the Lore sucks healing but is nice to have the versatility since most the times he's used to draw. Of course more healing is better against face decks and if you're facing a lot of those it may be better to change something, maybe a tree of life instead of Ysera. And always keep in mind that sometimes you have to race against a face deck and hope he doesn't kill you before, while you do the right trades. I think Justicar is not good here because her body is too weak and you don't have mana to use hero power a lot. And can also be better to play like a belcher instead of a healbot in most cases.
And since you don't have combo you need a board to win, a lot of healing is only good against decks that run out of steam fast like face hunter.
You can also think about faster cards like North Sea Kraken instead of Ysera
Yeah thats my problem. Im facing way too much Aggro. I have to rank up to about 15-10 before I can play test this deck more. Haven't gotten to play a lot at the start of the season yet and this deck is insanely fun however Im dead by turn 8.
Best combo so far,
T5 Naga into T6 Aviana and Cenarius. Unfortunately the 2/2 taunts didn't save me. But still fun to pull off!
I think you should try something more classic then, with Nourish and no Naga Sea Witch and Ancient of Lore.
I've made this one http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/409889-anti-aggro-ramp that i think is strong, but you can use the other card choices to replace cards you don't have or to better suit your meta.
I think the high-end use the best cards against aggro since they make you stay alive or just kill your opponnent.
And if you think you still just dying just take out Rag and Sylv and put Sunwalker/Master Jouster but i don't think that should happen.
Weird! I've been playing against a good mix of different things (including game #1 being vrs Secret Pally and an SMOrc shaman at one point) and I won the good majority of them. Went from rank 20ish to rank 14 currently (Gonna play more after this comment)
I even beat a control warrior with turn 6 Ysera! :P
Your reasoning is sound, but I am not sure what you would take out of this list to include Idol.
yup
Ok i have some issues against the tempomages i really need some heal in this... since you deffinetly have to use your Ancient of Lore for draw is there something else to replace for a heal... do i really need the second seawitch ?
Tempo mage has always been a terrible matchup for Druid. If you're looking to counter that deck, you will probably want to play a different class.
really fun deck. too bad it gets rekt by secret paladins.
How is the interaction between Aviana and Naga Sea Witch? Is only thing that matters the order of which they were played at to get the correct discount or does one rewrite the other no matter what?
Whichever is played last, if you play Naga Sea Witch into Aviana, all your minions will cost 1, all your spells will cost 5, If you play Aviana into Sea Witch, all your minions and spells will cost 5.
k, thx :)
