I replaced Doomguard x 1 by Leeroy Jenkins, since that it costs the same and won't discard my hand.
And it did well, too !!!
Doomguard is much better because it can attack twice while Leeroy is almost guaranteed to die the next turn. And the point of Doomguard is you don't discard any or at least no important cards.
I like that swap; however, I don't have Leeroy. Typically Doomguard sticks in my hand until it gives me lethal; or until I can play it without discarding anything. Now I don't necessarily agree that it attacks twice as it is often removed fairly quickly (if they have any removal) as most everything else in this deck doesn't require instant removal.
I drop today Gormok the Impaler i replace 1 Dire Wolf Alpha or someone have a better idea ?
Dire Wolf Alpha is better than Gormok in this deck because when the 4th or 5th turns comes up you dont always have at least 4 minions on the board to take advantage of Gormok, with Dire wolf even you have a single companion on the board you can use it. so prefer Dire wolf , but you can give it a shot if you like keeping board crowded all the time.
Is there room to put Lord Jaraxxus? I have all the cards need for the deck but I was wondering if I could cut something for him.
Jaraxxus is a Control card and this is a Face deck. They don't fit at all.
alright then
Lord Jaraxxus would be terrible in this deck because he would end up being discarded by Doomguard. Better to put in lower mana cards that you can play before the Doomguard.
@Taktaal You're right about this not being a control deck, but this certainly isn't a face deck. :P The goal isn't to go face with everything and kill them quickly, its to win through attrition, smart trades, and board control.
There are great warlock decks with Jaxx, and that's why I like this site because you can search for decks that have a specific card
I mained Warlock for quite a while (500+ Ranked wins), mostly lower–curve Zoo since I lack Malganis for heavier Zoolock builds (which I felt were superior at the time). Got two Warlock quests today so decided to see how slimmer build like this fares these days.
I already ran Peddler before, but with Brann it's whole another level of value. Warlock has exceptionally mean selection of 1-drops and most importantly some of them are too situational to put into deck (like Corruption).
Crushed all my quest games in casual, including outracing Face Hunter (who got off Unleash into my 4-sized board) and Aggro Shaman (who curved into Doomhammer + Rockbiter and was 1 short of lethal).
Very lively and pleasant to play build, though I must note knowing how to play Zoo is necessary to make good use of it.
Any good replacements for imp gang boss? I do not own BRM, but can cards like Voidcaller or Imp Master be used?
I used harvest golem during the time I didn't have BRM.
I don't have the card Imp Gang Boss but to keep the mana curve in 3 and possible synergies with Brann Bronzebeard, I thought about the possible cards:
[Edit]
Remove this cards :D
2x Big Game Hunter
[End Edit]
2x Earthen Ring Farseer
2x Mind Control Tech
2x Razorfen Hunter
2x Shattered Sun Cleric
I am testing each of these combinations to see which does better! :)
[card]Big Game Hunter[/card] does not synergizes. It just kills the same minion, TWICE.
Let 2x Shattered Sun Cleric on the deck and I really liked it!
zoo will never go away or become a tier 3 or below deck as long as reno doesn't get nerfed and priest doesn't get buffed too much. This is because steal/control priest and SMOrc hunter are the two main counters to zoo. Zoo has always evolved as knew metas and warlock cards have been added.
How to play:
Step 1: Play as if you're in arena for early game
Step 2: Play as if you're an aggressive warlock arena deck for the rest of the game.
Step 3: tap, tap, tap, win. (so basically arena)
Not really. The card needs to resolve before the creatures are removed from the battlefield.
I don't think so, these two cards are very important for Zoo... :/
