I play as Nepo on EU (several times legend) and present to you a rogue deck combining two archetypes: Oil Rogue and Miracle Rogue. This hybrid deck outperforms the pure lists for me by far (about 70% win ratio).
It runs the Gadgetzan Auctioneer draw engine from Miracle Rogue, which has become viable again due to the release of Tomb Pillager. The main kill condition is the Tinker's Sharpsword Oil turn of Oil Rogue.
The deck is hard to play, so do not expect a miracle (pun sadly intended) unless you are used to the playstyle of both Oil Rogue and Miracle Rogue. There are many guides on how to play these decks, so I will focus on card choices and tech slots in this description.
Card Choices / Tech Slots (work in progress, Dec. 17)
Edwin VanCleef is strongest against decks without silence or hard removal. For example, Aggro Shaman has to waste precious burn against him. You can drop him early as 4/4 or 6/6 to pressure your opponent, or you drop him on a late game turn with Conceal to set up the win.
The second copy of Sap is a matter of taste. Like all rogue decks, this one suffers from a turn 7 Dr. Boom, so you might try a Big Game Hunter instead.
The singleton Antique Healbot is enough healing for most games. Unlike other decks that are better off playing two copies, this deck typically draws most of its cards in each matchup, so you will see this one copy a lot. If you would like more healing, it seems better to add a singleton Earthen Ring Farseer for more versatility in how you spend your mana.
The singleton Assassin's Blade is necessary to compete with control decks. In particular, it makes the Freeze Mage and Reno Lock matchups much better (from abysmal to reasonable, but not favored). Reno Lock, Midrange Paladin, and Control Warrior occasionally may hit it with Acidic Swamp Ooze or Harrison Jones.

Please leave comments, questions, and a +1 if you like the deck! If this deck gets a couple of likes, I will add to the guide.
Thanks for the great deck! I've been planning to craft Edwin VanCleef soon, but in the meantime I'm running an Earthen Ring Farseer instead. Someone said that Emperor Thaurissan is a good substitute as well, so maybe I'll give that a go. I've been playing Yagut's Oil Rogue for a long time and have found that I can't quite make it go nowadays. The Tomb Pillagers instead of Piloted Shredders seem to be nicer because they contest Sludge Belchers and other things really well, and also help curve out your hand a bit better. Anyway, thanks for the great deck!
Thanks! Yeah I've found that overall your hand is full enough to get thaurissan value, but yes playing him anywhere other than the ideal condition he isn't great, no matter how often it happens, and yes the conceal doesn't cycle but the -1 mana on your spells ususally adds up to much more cycle in the following turn, and you won't miss that 1 card. I don't think you need to take the deck in an entirely new direction to capitalize on his effect, though yes in the case of Elise you probably want more draw.
This looks a lot like the list I'm running though I have thaurissan instead of vancleef. He's pretty awesome for making things like evis and your weapon buffs cheap. Suddenly these wild double oil turns become pretty consistent with all the card draw and is pretty insane. He's also got some synergy with conceal (I think I'm running 2) as idd argue a concealed thaurissan is almost better than a concealed auctioneer when you have the auctioneer in hand, as the following turn you'll have a 5 mana (pre nerf) auctioneer with cheaper spells to throw at him, and everything you draw from thay auctioneer turn with then be discounted once again, unless you traded thaurissan into something. Give it a try! I've also tried running Elise for a second wincondition vs reno decks, where you can save the monkey till later, and the map cycles so it doesn't hurt much. Plus it's fun!!
Nice comment!
Those are two interesting suggestions that take the deck into a different direction. Conceal on an Emperor Thaurissan is a really strong play if you have a full hand. The one downside is that Conceal then does not cycle itself, unlike with a Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
One could change the list by adding some more draw (Shiv comes to mind) to guarantee a larger hand and improve the odds of drawing through the whole deck. Then even Elise Starseeker could become useful to convert the combo pieces you drew "too late" and your extra The Coin to something with more impact.
