He swapped out Shiv for second Fan of Knives for secret paladin matchup. But he said deck cant beat aggro shaman consistently no matter what tech changes you make.
Would this deck work without Tomb Pillager? If so, what could I replace it with? It's the only card I don't have for this deck.
If you dont have Pillagers, you shouldnt play Miracle Rogue. Just play Oil Rogue with double Sprint and double Tinker's Oil.
That's so true...
I think that the new 5 mana epic card for rogue can do something interesting with tomb pillager
kobold geomancer
second shiv
Why does this deck only run a single Blade Flurry isnt that an important combo card?
It's important for Oil Rogue, but this deck's combo is quite different. It aims to finish off the opponent with Southsea Deckhand and Faceless.
Winning the first game gives faith in this deck
Don't know why everyone saying this deck is garbage, I watched Dog played it on stream and had a very similar list before watching, it performs very well. If you go to his past broadcasts and watch, you can get a better idea of how to play it. It's unlike other decks though, you have to know when to use spells or save them for gadgetzan, know when to just go for the win or play defensively, and the answer is not always obvious. Anyone not having luck with this deck, just keep trying and you'll figure it out. Easily able to kill control decks with 20+ burst damage (crushes renolock in my experience). Easily able to fight aggro with FoK and flurry, but if you're struggling with aggro, add a healbot in place of ERF. So glad that Rogue finally has another archetype, Blizzard did great with LoE.
I'd recommend watching Dog play the deck or Google how to play Miracle rouge to see the deck in action. I've found it to be hit or miss with the current meta but it's a tried and true Hearthstone deck.
Mulligans are really complicated for this deck but here's the rule of thumb.
Keep auctioneer if you're facing a slower deck (Reno lock, control warrior, priest, etc.)
Keep cards that'll let you not completely lose the board (Si:7 Agent if you have an activator, Deadly Poison, Backstab, Earthen-Ring Farseer if against an aggressive matchup, Eviscerate depending on matchup)
Keep Tomb Pillager against midrange or control match ups
This'll be a general framework, be sure to keep any card that'll help your specific matchup like Fan of Knives against Paladin and you should do fine. It's really a logic puzzle though with a bit of guess work
What exactly is the win condition?
Burst damage...
Win condition is to dagger on turn 9, then on turn 10 play southsea, Double cold blood, eviscerate, faceless. 24 damage. Then hit face, play a card and combo eviscerate for lethal.
really works, thx a lot
Probably Piloted Shredder.
This deck truly does take a miracle to win. You basically must draw auctioneer, or just the faceless combo with deckhand cold blood. Which for me is really hard considering RNjesus constantly fucking me. I had high hopes, but it just is not working. I played it a good bit and i ended up 7-12 and almost half those wins were people leaving around turn 4 for no reason.
Umm. How does this deck actually win?
I'm not one of those people who can't play the deck and then says it's bad. I'm actually wondering: what is this deck's win condition?
The objective of this deck stall and draw a bunch of cards with Gadgetzan then burst your opponent. Included on this deck are win condition cards like Southsea Deckhand + 2x Cold Blood + Faceles manipulator = 20 burst damage but that's not the only way to kill your opponent. You can also make use of Conceal when you have a board to setup kill for 2 or 3 turns.
