Rank #1 Legend proof:
Deck Guide:
Strategy:
Get ahead on the board by efficient trades and powerful minions and finish the game with some burst.
Mulligan:
Vs Aggro: Shielded Minibot, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Muster for Battle, Abusive Sergeant, Leper Gnome, Haunted Creeper, Argent Squire and Knife Juggler
Vs Control: Shielded Minibot, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Muster for Battle, Abusive Sergeant, Leper Gnome, Haunted Creeper, Argent Squire, Knife Juggler and Piloted Shredder
You can also keep Piloted Shredder in your hand vs Aggro if you have already a decent curve in your hand.
Sir Finley: Sir Finley Mrrgglton can counter special matchups. Try to get Armor Up! vs Frezze Mage or Life Tap vs Control decks
Matchups and Winrate:
This were my stats when i started playing at around rank 150 to #1.
Good matchups are generally Hunter, Tempomage, Druid, Priest, Shaman and Renolock
Bad matchups are generally Secret Paladin, Grimm Patrion Warrior
But I didn't play enough games to see the real winrates.
Cards you can try:
If you remove 1x Divine Favor for 1x Aldor Peacekeeper the Paldin matchup should get better. You now can deal better with Mysterious Challenger. I did also try a version with -1x Consecration and +1x Tirion Fordring.
I would appreciate a follow at Twitch or Twitter:

Uhh, guys, had about 15+ games against priests, and sometimes they got clerick+deathlord who had 6 atack and 12hp. Last game it takes to me 8 turns to kill him(deathlord). (tbh he kill it by hisself with Excavated Evil to clear board...). Looks like its no way to play with this deck against priests??
I came here to say I went from rank 18 to 14 with like zero trouble - lost maybe 4 games to huntards, a mech mage, and a druid. Did this while watching TV or super tired. Had never laddered paladin before; was having a hard time with 3-4 different priest decks. I feel like it's unfair how easy this deck is. I don't even have Coghammer; been using Truesilver Champion. Did the Aldor Peacekeeper sub, which works great for any number of problem enemy minions, but usually the game doesn't even get that far.
Edit: I also subbed a Consecration in favor of one Equality for the utility. Works great.
Fking good deck ;) I'm smoked weed and took 9 rank :D
upd. 7 rank :D
Do you guys think 2 divine favor is really necessary?
Some guy mentioned substituting it for defender of argus
Note : I already have 1 divine favor and with dr. boom and loatheb i don't think 2 divine is really necessary.
add argus or aldor Peacekeeper
i add argus
replacement for Sir Finley and keeper or are they unreplaceable?
Keepers are huge in this deck as they can be used on a 1/1 like an argent squire or a silver hand recruit to make efficient trades, or on a huge enemy minion to deal with them cleanly and easily. Sir Finley isn't necessarily unreplaceable, but I've found that he does really well with my variation where I dropped -1 Coghammer for + 1 Justicar Trueheart. It allows you to win some matchups that were previously very unfavorable due to the Paladin Hero Power, like getting the Druid Hero Power to make your 1/4 weapon from Muster do 2 (or 3 damage with Justicar), to heal or armor up for 4 against a freeze mage trying to Alexstraza Fireball Fireball Frostbolt combo you, let's you draw into more damage with the warlock hero power, etc.
As far as replacements go, you could maybe try an Aldor Peacekeeper, maybe a Truesilver Champion or a Quartermaster to combo with Muster for battle (or Justicar Trueheart if you go that route)
I'm currently 45-17 with this deck with the above mentioned -1 Coghammer +1 Justicar Trueheart change
Priests are such a hard counter to this deck.. It feels like any Paladin not packing an equality will always be in for a tough ride vs Priest, especially with Holy nova and light bomb..
Got my first legend ever using this deck! Played it from rank 6 o legend with roughly 70% winrate and have never encountered a mirror. It is really powerfull against face shaman, any kind of warlock and paladin (just have 2-3 units at board when they drop challenger and you'll be fine). Decent match up is mage and rogue, about 60% winrate and worst are control priest and control warrior (though my last win to legend was against control priest) - against this classes you have to play as aggressive as possible protecting your board from any kind of aoe.
Continuing on my new decks binge, took this for daily quest and went 5-3 in casual. Lack second Coghammer, put Truesilver in.
This feels about as close to true Warlock Zoo as I had ever seen in any other class. Super annoying minions and divine favor acts as obscene amount of draw (without life loss!).
The one missing piece I feel is lack of final burst. Warlock Zoo plays board control, but that final burst for 9 (Overwhelming on board + Doomguard) seals a lot of games. With this deck it seems that once I run out of steam there isn't really anything burst-y I could draw into.
Agreed. I was eyeballing charge minions and Leeroy for a good bit but have yet to get around to testing it.
Rdu's aggrodin list in the recent Insomnia Truesilver Championship ran 2 arcane golems and Leeroy
I played this deck from rank 9-5. Overall I went 29-10.
took this deck from rank 5 to legend yday and today! sick winrate and crushed every secret pally i faced ty for the deck :)
0-4 rank 4...
Against Druid is impossible with this.
So far this deck has been giving me the best results out of the three decks I was playing before (aggro shaman, tempo mage, zoolock w/o hobgoblin). I jumped from rank 12 to rank 8 with a 64% winrate (25-14).
I made some minor tweaks to the deck due to not having a second Coghammer and found that Aldor Peacekeeper was useful in some matchups. -1 Argent Squire -1 Coghammer -1 Divine Favor +2 Aldor Peacekeeper +1 Truesilver Champion
Shaman 5-2
Mage 6-1
Priest 0-3
Paladin 6-3
Warlock 5-1
Druid 0-2
Hunter 2-0
Rogue 0-1
Warrior 1-1
I can tell hardest matchups will be druid (too much taunt) and dragon priest (again too much taunt). This deck seems to destroy aggro zoolock/shaman decks (you can out tempo), tempo mage, and hunter. I think warrior matchup will also be super difficult as well, key will be to focus down armorsmiths and armor down; however, if warrior plays Justicar Trueheart its pretty much game over. I found a lot of matchups if I got coin and shielded minibot, I would just win the game since it takes so much just for them to remove it (especially for mage). I'll keep playing this deck and update on the results.
I'm doing pretty well with this deck (rank 15 to 12)
I missed one Coghammer so I replaced with one of my fav card Enhance-o Mechano and it helped winning some matches. I would like to try [card]Tirion Fordring[/card] butI seldom went over turn 8/9 and even in that case I am not sure Tirion could help winning.
Freeze mage and dragon priest were my worst matchup.
I have been on a win-streak with this deck from 16 to 14 haven't lost a game yet! Very happy with this deck-list much thanks!
