Hi,

This is my version of the "Budget" mage deck. 

Changes I made:

2 Acidic Swamp Oozes. Why not. I fight warriors, rogues, pallys and huntards. Pulling out the ooze is almost more fun that actually winning. 

The Acolyte of Pain may or may not be needed really. I find myself actually dying to fatigue sometimes. 

What this deck is good at:

Control, for the most part. The two flamestrikes are devastating. People will play around them though and the deck is susceptible to losing to decks with better cards (aren't they all).

 

Issues:

I find the biggest issues with pallys that run equality and healing mobs/cards. There is a decided lack of burst, but occassionally you'll be in a position to drop an Azure Drake late in the game that doesn't die and to cast a couple 7 dmg fireballs to the face. 

Anyway, this is a relatively cheap deck that's competitive from rank 19 - 10 probably.
