This deck was able to 1-shot the boss. Try to mulligan for at least one Northshire Cleric, Lightwell and/or Deathlord.
Very simple, this deck is filled with silences designed to handle the continuous ramping nature of the Slitherspear's hero ability.
Divine Spirit/Inner Fire combos to build a huge minion that you can use to help clean the minions that the plays from his hand and eventually kill him. Of course BGH, both Pain and Death are very helpful. I save Pain for his Water Ele's and Deaths for his 5/7 taunts and tried to have some form of silence or a BGH for each hero power minion from 5/5 up.
Have fun!
First Attempt!
was able to get a lightwell out turn 2, and within the next few turns buff it with velen's chosen double its health and then match its health to its attack, let him clear the board and went to his face, only lost 3 health the entire time!
Worked on first try! My starting hand was Inner Fire, Deathlord and Lightwell. Then I drew the silences and Deathlord alone done the job, while healing him with Lightwell, Hero Power and Healing Circle that comboed with Northshire Cleric for drawing the combo pieces (Divine Spirit and Inner Fire).
0-10 so far, not even close. Bad draws I guess
got him at first try turn 6 with insane hand xD
On my first try! After 40+ tries with the rogue deck, I decided to give this one last try and bam! All over by turn seven.
Awesome!
Good idea, its pretty bad designed boss (Maloriak lvl of design failure) where otherwise you need perfect hand and perfect follow up cards in order to win so why not. Only way he can kill it is when he has the card that deal 2 dmg to everything.
On druid this strategy is better since druids have ramp effect. I would suggest to combo it with shieldbearer because he can atleast soak one of those pesky nagas that aoe your board for 2 dmg.
took a few tries... easy win compare to mill rogue
Getting really tired of using these cheesy priest decks, where you have to get the perfect mulligan, then the perfect draws for the first 4 or 5 turns. Gets really old.
Agree. Even if it worked well once a good mulligan happened, this is the same strat for so many heroic bosses with a strong board.
I got extremely fortunate this game lmao.jpg
Almost 70 tries. Damn I feel relieved.
did it, but 10 tries i guess.
thx anyway :D
Excellent, 2nd try.
Beat him on the 4th try! Thanks!
1st try with incredible lucky draw
won with 13/2 and 11/2 light wardens at turn 7.. lol
Got lucky with him not having those archers
MULLIGAN FOR CLERIC, DEATHLORD AND LIGHTWELL.
YOU SHOULD BE AIM TO DRAW DIVINE SPIRIT AND INNER FIRE AT TURN 5/6, THIS WILL DEFINITELY SEAL THE DEAL
IF NOT, CONTINUE BUFFING AND HEALING THE DEATHLORD.
not even close to first try. You need those soulpriests unless you are lucky enough to get your deathlord and all the buff cards
I've lost maybe 10 times in a row now not having fun this is what I get for being a try hard. You need to play test this a bit more because unless you have lucky draw early the deck is very inconsistant
Thanks a lot for this deck, all the silences help in the start, but in the end it was card draw + health buffs that was needed, my 44/44 north shire cleric sealed the deal :)
