Instead of one of the Hungry crabs i ran a Murloc Tidecaller

Good deck? second try and i win

I used Archmage Antonidas to replace my missing cone of cold.  He and a Flamewaker on the board together made a constant barrage of damage that Giantfin couldn't do anything about.

Thanks for the deck idea.  Got him in 1 as well.

Warning: ADD ANIMATED ARMOR INTO YOUR DECK. HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO PLAY AROUND IT AND HE WILL JUST HIT YOU IN THE FACE WITH 15 DAMAGE AND DEAL 1 DAMAGE. ALSO ADD ICE BLOCK + ILLUMINATOR.

ironically i didn't get to burn his hp down much with oracle. i only managed to cast 1 oracle in my game. i did however manage to fill his board with minions at times (when their frozen duh), so his hand was full at some parts and he couldn't spend cards so his cards got discarded. so it wasn't a total loss.

But at one point i managed to get his hand to be empty, and my hand was empty too. So all he could do was keep draw 2 card, and i would wipe his board with spells mostly, while going face with my minions. got some good draws too, so kept that up.

And when he finally was gonna kill he using his summon all murlocs that died, my counterspell saved the day, so he wasted a turn doing that.

Then my minions just faced and won the game, despite my hero only having 2 life left with both uses of iceblock already used.

few things here to tip others

- counterspell MUST! You don't want him raising the undead army.... i used 1 in my deck.

- iceblock x 2 !!!  can't imagine not using 2 ;_; i swear you'll need it.

- flamewalker is good value for trading, because every spell you put down chances are he can take out some minions. Use hIM!

- be efficient with your AOE cards. Use the low dmg ones for low hp army. and big ones for big hp army. Or you'll be stuck in a situation when you need big dmg aoe when you wasted it last turn when you didn't need to

I won first try, but to be fair, I unstabled dreadscale, and was able to sweep the board incredibly easy! Nice deck!

yeah dreadscale is awesome to have :} but shes hunter deck, and hunter won't be able to hold out as well as a frost mage. so if u can pull out dreadscale for mage :D thats sweet

1 Shotted it Thanks! Didn't have Hungry Crabs, Arcane Blasts or Flame Leviathan so I replaced them and a couple other cards to make my own version of your deck. Ended up adding in 2 Zombie Chows, Bloodmage Thalnos (Worked really well with Arcane Explosion), 1 Ice Block (Saved me from Old Murkeye after getting control of the board), 2 Counterspells and an extra Flamestrike.

Did it second try, but I changed couple of things:

1. Instead of one flamewaker, I use 2.

2. Instead of arcane blast, I used 2 counterspells.

3. I put in Ice Block, which ended up saving me at 1 health!

4. 2nd Flamestrike instead of Leviathan

5. I didn't have doomsayer either, but the Ice Block and the 2nd Flamewaker did well instead!

But anyways thanks for a great idea!

With some i luck i made it work.

I didn't have the Crabs, so tht made it way harder, neither i had the leviathan, but using a Flamestrike and 2 Counterspells you can fight your way through. It's easier if you pull out a fatty with the Unstable Portal though.

any point of running this deck if i dont have hungry crab?

Hungry Crab makes it a lot easier early game, but with the 2 arcane blasts to take out his 2 health 1 mana Tidecaller, it is still worthwhile.

Replace 2 counterspell for the 2 hungry crab, or 2 zombie chows. Or 1/1.

0-1. lets see how long this take lol. running CS x2 instead of 1 AB and 1 HC. Also 2nd FS instead of FL

Ending up taking him into fatigue. I didn't have a second Doomsayer or Hungry Crab so I ended up swapping them out for Counterspell, which did a fantastic job of interrupting his stupid mass rezz card. Thanks for the list, ended up winning first attempt.
