I did not track the stats, but i climbed pretty easily from rank 500 to rank 18 legend
Mulligan for the early minions except for scarab, you want him in mid/late game to help you with the discover hability.
Cards Choice Explanation:
Tunnel Trogg is a powerful early minion, similiar to a Mana Wyrm, but you can play in curve your minions and buff his attack
2x Lightning Bolt its a good removal on early game and buffs Tunnel Trogg
2x Jeweled Scarab because shaman has probably the best 3 drops in the game and you can choose wich card would help you in a better way. At first i was trying 2x Lightning Storm and 2x Hex , but they are situational cards and you can get them from Jeweled Scarab and i liked it.
2x Fireguard Destroyer good sinergy with Trogg
1x Bloodlust i won a lot of games with a 12 or 15 damage bloodlust
UPDATE: My friend Nalguidan picked at rank 4 with the deck
UPDATE 22/11
I tracked some games today and yesterday, 33-15 so far with a few changes i made to the list by reading all your comments.
-1 Jeweled Scarab +1 Ironbeak Owl : it was hard to battle the board against deathrattle rogues and the owl its really good in a lot of matches.
-1 Tuskarr Totemic +1 Unbound Elemental: after reading your comments i tried 2 Unbounds but Tuskar is still good for me, so i decided to run 1 of both.
-1 Piloted Shredder+1 Defender of Argus: Argus is always good in shaman, i could not decide if i wanted to remove 1 shredder of 1 destroyer, its a close choice
About Brann Bronzebeard and Neptulon, i tried them and the meta is too fast for them, if you are facing a lot of control decks they are a good option though.
Mulligan Guide
General: Tunnel Trogg, Haunted Creeper and Totem Golem are always a keep, if you have one of those in hand you can keep Flametongue Totem too, and if you have the coin you can keep a 3 drop also.
VS Druid: Lightning Bolt or Crackle (to kill Darnassus Aspirant).
VS Hunter: Lightning Bolt and Earth Shock / Ironbeak Owl to control early board.
VS Mage: Lightning Bolt to kill Mana Wyrm, Earth Shock / Ironbeak Owl to silence Mad Scientist or Doomsayer (dont silence scientist unless you know its tempo mage).
VS Paladin: Earth Shock / Ironbeak Owl to control early minions, Lightning Storm.
VS Priest: Lightning Bolt for Northshire Cleric, Hex and a 4 drop if you have coin (not Argus).
VS Rogue: Lightning Bolt for their 3 drop, Earth Shock / Ironbeak Owl because it could be deathrattle rogue.
VS Shaman: Lightning Bolt to kill Tunnel Trogg, Lightning Storm.
VS Warlock: Earth Shock / Ironbeak Owl, Hex, Lightning Bolt instead of Hex if you know its zoo.
VS Warrior: Hex and a 4 drop if you have coin (not Argus).
Not realiable anough to many 1 of cards. Does not work good on EU ladder
I lose this deck in 21 rank... Not playable
I just have 75% win ratio with this deck, you sucks that's all
This deck just doesn't seem to perform as well as I had hoped. Guess rng just doesn't like me.
I put Lightning Storm back in over Jeweled Scarab because there is just too much aggro for the meta to pray that you get it from him. This deck already has some pretty good two and three mana cards anyway otherwise this deck is pretty solid if you mull right.
Also do you recommend trading Earth Elemental for Dr. Boom for aggro and also to fit the theme of the deck?
Thanks for this deck! I don't track of my wins/losses, but it has definitely been fun to play.
Thanks to everyone making all these shaman decks. It is a huge relief when we come across one on the ladder.
Honestly, this deck is pretty useless. you need a perfect draw secuency to even try to win. or the enemy need to miss play a lot to even win. too many overload cards and very few card to benefist from the overloard, too cluncky curve, no way to get back in board. i when 1-10 trying this decks in which i didnt saw trogg 2 times. very inconsistency draw. no recomended at all.
here this deck might be a little easier for you http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/371423-s20-legendary-secredin-from-20-to-legend
Rank 9 and my favorite deck by far, it's way more consistent than other overload variants even when behind, sometimes miracles just happen. That said, I'm going to try out replacements for thunderstorm and bloodlust. Every time I have needed to play storm I have lost anyways because of the harsh tempo loss. As for lust, it's existence is enough of a threat. People will make bad plays to ensure I never have more than 2 minions on the board, and lust pretty much always just sits in my hand until the game ends. I'm going to try out thunder bluff valiant to get an advantage in slugfest matches where you trade your topdecks for 10 turns with a useless totem or two lying around. Paladins usually come out on top by a sliver because of their dudes. As for the second card to put in, I'm not really sure. Maybe a shredder since turn 5 is always overloaded. That or an Ironbeak for handlocks and priests/early game filler.
I love how I go and construct this fucking piece of shit deck, and then get RAPED by a fucking brain dead druid, its like its hearthstone tradition that the holy fucking ghost goes before every new deck I try to fling on ladder for the first time and absolutely fucking crush its mothers poes... I guess I'll just have to hit rank 13 again for the millionth time and then pick it up from there... OH BTW ~lovely deck~ *I Guess* every fucking time I build one of these so called 'legedary decks' I get the fucking worst mulligans possible.
I feel your pain. I can't even get past 16 with this.
I swaped Tuskarr Totemic for Enhance-o Mechano worked like a charm
Nope, this deck sucks.
what about
Al'Akir the Win Lord
You need Rockbiter Weapon for Al'Akir the Windlord as finisher, and which card would you throw for those?
I feel like you could reasonably drop a fire elemental for him and while you wouldn't have the rockbiters for 12/18 burst damage, 6 is more burst than fire elemental offers, and you can use him for a bit better clearing.
I think you should get a Zombie Chow or maybe even a Leper Gnome, just to fill that 1 mana spot. I think being able to play something on curve is just too important with this deck
This deck is basically built around Tunnel Trogg though
