Quick update: with Molten Giant nerf, this deck is pretty much obsolete. I'm trying to find another solution.
He starts with 2 on board, starts dealing damage immediately. You can play Doomsayer round 2 to clear or drop Annoy-o-Tron to stave off some damage (Zombie Chow good too). It's good to note that you shouldn't worry if Doomsayer or Annoy-O-Tron get killed immediately. They are just there to harass while you draw more cards. They are not the game winning cards.
If he drops a secret, do not use your hero power.
Mulligan for: Molten Giant, Doomsayer, and Annoy-o-Tron.
Round 1-4: Either play Doomsayer or Annoy-o-Tron, or use hero power to find Molten Giant. Take damage. Don't heal until you have a giant on the board.
You can use Shadowflame or Doomsayer to clear board after you've taken enough damage to drop your giants with taunts.
Utilize minion heals and wreck him with giants.
Substitutions: Sylvanas Windrunner is a GREAT substitution.
Edits: I've replaced Sea Giant x2 for Sludge Belcher x2. I also swapped out the MC Techs for KT and one Corruption for round 1. I've been reading a lot of what you guys have posted and I think these changes will push the deck in a better direction. If you have KT and Annoy-O-Tron in hand, try to hang on for the combo. With both on the board, the AI will not attack at all.

Great Deck! It needs some tries to mulligan for Doomsayer and he does not have Confuse.
Thanks, 2nd try. Made it easy with doomsayer for initial clear and then taunted molten giant on turn 4 or 6

Used this on 6/2/16 to beat Scarvash on the second try. I had tried about 8-9 other decks (each one about 4-5 times, at least) to try to beat this boss, with no luck. Managed to get lucky and pull a molten giant in the opening hand and an Earthen Ring Farseer and Antique Healbot at the right time.
Everyone's voting down the comments that say "Trash", but this deck IS trash... Since MG was nerfed into the dirt.
I've been using this deck (post-Old Gods) for 2 hours and haven't made it past turn 8. That's because the soonest you can play MGs now is turn 5 and that's when minions cost 11, so it's actually turn 6. If you do somehow manage to get them out, he just ligtning bolts, crackles and/or starfires your face through them, if they're taunted-up, or ignores them and hits your face for an easy lose.
Yes, I have also tried a couple substitutions (Sylvanas, Sea Giant, etc.) but the result is the same; by the time you can play them it's too little, too late.
I can see that this deck WAS kind of good, but it's complete and utter trash now.
I'm going to spend a while and find something that works for this now.
Well after beating every other encounter, I finally did it with this deck. So glad i crafted these right before the nerf. Not sure this boss is possible without Molten Giant
complete p.o.s. deck.
Won first try. Got lucky and played two Molten Giant (for 0 mana) and a Sunfury Protector to add taunt to both of them. Great deck.
This guy is in the second wing, what a joke.
This fight is so incredibly bullshit, I cannot fathom it. Out of the 4 matches that I actually had doomsayer in my opening hand, every single time he played confuse to kill it instantly. Seriously, This fight is over in 4 turns every game. Is there some kind of stupid AI that everyone is taking advantage of to beat this busted boss? The kel'thuzad + taunt 'glitch' sounds great on paper, but if you can even survive until turn 8 to even play kel'thuzad you must be the luckiest man alive, not to mention that's without even having the taunt out. I've beaten every other heroic Naxx and LoE boss (haven't gotten around to start BRM yet) and NOTHING has come close to this level of infuriating. Heroic Kel was nuts and took a long time, but at least there is strategy to it.
So seriously, what is the strategy here. I only have one doomsayer, and conceding every time I don't draft it is physically killing me. What cards can I keep with any hopes of winning at all, and how can I survive 4 fucking turns without getting demolished by his first two immortal troggs.
Also missing the refreshment vendor but those don't seem remotely crucial.
EDIT: FINALLY beat him with 1hp remaining with a warrior deck. The 1hp was because his last crackle hit for 3, which was the one single reason I won.
I can see how the warlock deck could work, but imo the weapons are just way more useful. Would recommend warrior over warlock.

My hand was: 2 molten, 1 Sunfury protector, and then draw defender of argus. Turn 4 had two 9/9 molten giants with taunt on turn 6 i manage to heal my self, the rest was easy. Turn 7 lethal
Ya same, started with 2 molten giants and Shadowflame. I was able to clear board by turn 5 and I ended up winning on turn 7 with heavy damage from the molten giants, without an epic start it's almost impossible to win.
Yep i think it's impossible winning without an epic card.
This deck works but it's absolutely luck based. Your only good turn will be 2, best case scenario it's a doomsayer and worst case he confuses after you play your doomsayer.
Your turns 3, 5 and (likely) 6 will be horrible because you have no answers at all. You're hoping really bad that your turns 2 and 4 will be so good that the computer can't fight through. It will happen (eventually) but it can be VERY frustrating.
Don't bother with this one.
Thanks so much!! Got him on the first try. I'm sure all the experienced players here already know about this bug, but (for the noobs like me) if you play kel thuzad behind a taunt, he will never attack, hence getting you an easy win.
Nice deck. 3rd try. Never got a Doomsayer, just wrecked him with Molten Giants and Taunt!
