Update #2!! USE THIS DECK INSTEAD: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/621393-heroic-cheap-chieftan-scarvash
Quick update: with Molten Giant nerf, this deck is pretty much obsolete. I'm trying to find another solution.
He starts with 2 on board, starts dealing damage immediately. You can play Doomsayer round 2 to clear or drop Annoy-o-Tron to stave off some damage (Zombie Chow good too). It's good to note that you shouldn't worry if Doomsayer or Annoy-O-Tron get killed immediately. They are just there to harass while you draw more cards. They are not the game winning cards.
If he drops a secret, do not use your hero power.
Mulligan for: Molten Giant, Doomsayer, and Annoy-o-Tron.
Round 1-4: Either play Doomsayer or Annoy-o-Tron, or use hero power to find Molten Giant. Take damage. Don't heal until you have a giant on the board.
You can use Shadowflame or Doomsayer to clear board after you've taken enough damage to drop your giants with taunts.
Utilize minion heals and wreck him with giants.
Substitutions: Sylvanas Windrunner is a GREAT substitution.
Edits: I've replaced Sea Giant x2 for Sludge Belcher x2. I also swapped out the MC Techs for KT and one Corruption for round 1. I've been reading a lot of what you guys have posted and I think these changes will push the deck in a better direction. If you have KT and Annoy-O-Tron in hand, try to hang on for the combo. With both on the board, the AI will not attack at all.

Tried a shaman deck I found randomly and it was complete trash. Won after my second attempt since I misplayed my first attemp
Absolute trash
i was lucky enough to do this with first try after 15 tries with a shaman deck 20 tries o so close with a rogue deck and 3 tries with a priest deck that barely even played before i was dead but with this i got in my hand a sludge belcher annoy o and kel to start then drawing into corruption to take care of alot of damage and getting to molten giant with shadow flame as my follow up to clear the board and almost empty his hand which was nice to be able to summon sludge and annoy on turn seven and kel on turn 9 for infinite taunts to win good deck man you saved my bacon and bacon is love :D
Took a few very frustrating tries but finally managed to make it work. Dropped down to 9 and then started getting more and more taunts out and eventually ended the game with 29 health and 6 taunts.
second try, nice deck
the deck is pretty much garbage. the author will post the people who have said "first try" while not being intelligent enough himself to realize that only those people who get it the first try post and let him know. The sample is heavily weighted. Out of the thousands of games played trying to win that boss, he has 10 who got it first try thanks to the nearly impossible RNG you need with this deck to win. my advice, save yourself some sanity, and choose a different deck to try to win with.
Thanks for the deck got it on first try..just mulligan for Corruption and some heals then its easy.
Winning with this deck is entirely a matter of luck. The math simply isn't there. On turn 5 when you REALLY need your 5-drops, they cost 11. On turn 6 when you REALLY need your 6-cost spells, they cost 11. I've had very lucky opening hands with Corruption and Doomsayer but I still lost because I couldn't drop anything on turn 5. After trying this deck over two dozen times, I can't understand why it has so many up votes. My gut feeling is that there are much better decks out there, but this one gets attention simply because it comes up first in google search results.
The only thing consistent about this deck is how often it loses on turn 6. If you're going to play this deck, prepare to be frustrated. It's simply too easy to fall behind and much too hard to recover.
took me a dozen tries but the deck works when RNGesus is with you
Deck doesn't work. It's entirely reliant on rng. You need to get good draw and he needs an awful hand. Dont get the molten out early enough? You lose. He draws his big minions or rampage? He easily kills the giants and you also lose. Note that the demo video itself features a win where scaravash plays no rampage; no lumbering golems and no ancient shades.
First try no problem at all. I believe there is a bug tha when you have annoy-o-tron and KT he wont attack the annoy-o-tron
15 tries with this deck.. not once did i draw a doomsayer. i can't seem to get rid of the 2 initial cards on the table efficiently with this deck.
Got it on my second try. Awesome deck thanks!
First try, I must sign in to thanks you
I didn't play this exact decklist, but I beat him by getting double Molten Giants to Defender of Argus on turn 4. Good decklist though, and thank you :)
Thanks for this. Took around 4 or 5 tries but it was just unlucky confuses onto my doomsayers and shit like that that caused me to lose.
+1
It took some work, but I did win with this deck. I found that a turn 2 Doomsayer never worked as he would always confuse. So I used corruption turn 1 instead and just followed the guide. Does require a little RNG but also requires some thinking ahead as well. In the end, got out my KT and taunt bot and won. Thanks for the guide!
First try, easy as hell. Nice deck!
