Hello I just had this crazy idea to make a Murloc/battlecry sinergy deck for shaman.
I think Murloc Tinyfin can be an awesome card. First it acts as a "murloc coin" for Everyfin is Awesome (which also adds 3/3 free bodies in the mix)
It also can be used as an activator for a lot of cards. Take a look a this combo : Brann Bronzebeard(3) + Murloc Tinyfin(0) + Hungry Crab(1) = 4 mana 2/4 & 5/6 bodies.
It can also buff your Old Murk-Eye and Murloc Tidecaller for free. It can also pair up with Coldlight Seer for a turn 3 2/3 1/3 1/3 bodies (on an empty board) Basically don't drop Murloc Tinyfinfor nothing, it's a great combo piece.
Brann Bronzebeard Will double neat battlecries effects (for even better combos) from Murloc Tidehunter, Coldlight Oracle, Coldlight Seer , Hungry Crab, etc..
Sir Finley Mrrgglton is an awesome card for this deck, basically you want any other hero power but shaman's, priest's or warrior's, which will help you tempo/ping/face your opponent.
Hex and Earth Shock will be handy to prevent big threats.
Considering Changes :
-1 Haunted Creeper + 1 Puddlestomper : Haunted Creeper has the advantage of being a sticky minions that can be buffed further with Everyfin is Awesome but Puddlestomper is a good murloc body that combos with a lots of cards
-1 Neptulon +1 Dr. Boom : Dr. Boom will combo greatly with Brann Bronzebeard But Neptulon might also and have the advantage of giving you more murlocs OR +1 Loatheb to avoid board clears
More to come !
Switched out the crab, bran and spider for a grimscale and 2 flametongue totems.
Been doing well since.
This deck seems to be really strong. Going to try it out
Hi!
Nice Deck, and nice idea to adding Brann Bronzebeard in Murloc, can you post a video, i really want to see this in action?
I must know, does Brann + Crab actually generate a 5/6? I would have assumed it would be just like blood knight, Harrison, etc where it would trigger once, gain +2/+2 and then try to kill the same murloc it already killed and not gain any additional stats.
It gets +4/+4 as the effect triggers twice. Abilities cant fizzle like in MTG.
Source: i got brann, the crab and a merloc in the last tavern brawl and made a 5/6 crab
how about bloodlust?
I would maybe add a Siltfin Spiritwalker to provide a pseudo-taunt (They don't want to give you free cards) and to get you free advantage when killing pesky things like taunts and Mysterious Challenger. I don't know what to take out though.
i think this deck can be a good one, but Hungry Crab has only the combo with Brann Bronzebeard but it ruines all of the murlocs combo like: Murloc Warleader, Old Murk-Eye and Everyfin is Awesome.
also i think Neptulon is too slow for murlocs, because murlocs are pretty much rush.
if you really want to make a good murlocs deck i think you should do it with druid with cards like: Soul of the Forest, Power of the Wild, Savage Roar, etc.
I think that Everyfin is Awesome is way too cruicial here, in this particular deck, so going druid would be a bad idea imo. Plus, druids already have an awesome HP so Sir Finley would be pointless. Besides, druids already have plenty of different rush/aggro decks flying around the meta, DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MORE IDEAS! :D
As far as the Shaman murloc deck goes, I gotta say, since I saw the cards for LoE, this is the deck I feel I'll give the hardest try to push through this meta, it looks like it'll be SO MUCH FUN. I disagree with the Hungry Crab, and I'd also probably stay away from Neptulon and actually put in a Bloodlust for that final mega push of damage. I can just see my 7 murlocs on board, buffed with the +2/+2 from Everyfin is Awesome and the look on that control warrior's face when I drop the Bloodlust and do like a gazillion damage to him AND his 85 frickin' armor. Last thing I might change is taking out a Haunted Creeper and putting in one more removal spell like a Crackle or something, just for the bigger boys out there like Mysterious Challenger in case you used/don't draw into your hexes. Overall, can't frickin' wait for week 3 to play this. :)
