Hello, This is a fatigue mage, for those who don't understand the deck win conditions, is easy, surviving with big removals, taunts duplicates ETC, and win against your opponent on fatigue.
AQ Why this over freezemage? Well is another type of deck, is fun , hard to master, and competitive.
WTF? Reno Jackson? you have duplicates on your deck, and 8 cards with 2 copies... This deck is a fatigue deck, your opponent will reach fatigue before you because of deathlords and forgotten torches. You play reno jackson because is so likely that on turn 10 even turn 9, you already drawed one copie of all of your 9 cards with 2 copies on your deck, Reno works if you have all different cards in your deck, your hand doesn't matter, so if you draw 1 copie of each duplicated card, reno works.
Why Flamelance? Alternative Polymorph making Reno more effective.
-------------------------------------------
Let's go into the cards.
Frostbolt: Good early removal, why 1? because now we have torches, and torches are broken.
Duplicate : One of your win conditions, you can duplicate healbots, coldlight oracles against control, or deathlord , you have a lot of good duplicate targets, and remember, having 2 copies of one card in your hand doesn't affect Reno Jackson.
Frost nova : Buy a turn + Doomsayer.
Iceblock : Good synergie with Reno Jackson + it buys you a turn.
Cone of Cold : Good against aggro, can be used like Frost Nova. Echo of Medivh : Like i said on duplicate, a lot of good duplicate targets.
Polymorph : Good big removal Flamelance : Same as poly.
Blizzard : Good aoe spell , good for setting up a good flamestrike.
Flamestrike : Just flamestrike.
Doomsayer : Awesome convination with all the freezes. Explosive sheep : cheap aoe against aggro.
Mad scientist : Only 1 copie because of reno and you don't need to draw cards.
Big Game Hunter : Good removal.
Coldlight Oracle : Accelerates the game, Helps you to reach to reno activation, and maybe mill some cards-
Deathlord : Draws 1 card for your opponent, and 2/8 taunt, awesome!
Antique Healbot : Heal is cheat!.
Sludge Belcher : Big taunt, awesome against midrange decks.
Reno Jackson : One big win condition, they pop your iceblock, and you play Reno, Ez game.
Alexstrasza: You don't have Reno activation?, This should also work.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is not a "RENO JACKSON DECK" like all the people thinks, is another big win condition for the fatigue mage, that makes the deck a lot more consistent.
Hope you liked it, Sorry for our bad english we are not native speakers.
Deck made by : GR2 And Guunnz from Argentinian Hearthstone Team GDM (Guerreros del Mouse)
If you liked it be sure to check our before LoE release legend fatigue paladin. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/337867-legend-kill-em-all-paladin
Working on a video for the fatigue mage
sorry it's not face hunter, this may be a little too complicated for you :/
ladder on EU is WAY harder than NA, not saying americans are dumb but as far as the situation is concerned its just a fact.
x5 EU legend and dont use face decks
Not a very good deck, the lack of icebarrier and 2 ice blocks make is a shoddy freeze mage at best as well as being 100% dependent on getting good draws with no reliable draw mechanics outside coldlights which are suicide against aggro. I wish I could downvote it more than once
I really think Forgotten Torch goes against the deck. you have 8 dupes, this card basically is un-playable if you've already played one and you need to reno any time soon. Also The Torch fills your deck up with more cards, thus making it take longer to get down to all your dupes. One card can mean 1 more turn before you draw your last dupe. In a deck with so many dupes, one turn could be the end of you.
In my expierence torch had a perfect fit every game. It is another piece of removal for late game and +1 to your fatigue race.
I realize that with Reno you don't want to have too many two of's, but it seemed very inconsistent to me after several games albeit viable. I tweaked it a bit and have had a lot more consistent gameplay so far though it's been limited due to only having played it on my lunch break.
100% eh? won without this easily, just dupe'd deathlord, turn 6 put out 2 deathlords, used flamestrike turn 7, cleared the board, didn't actually need reno either, used him @ 14 health and opponent had 2 cards in hand and 2 in deck, figured safer than sorry.
Is there a possible replacement for Alexstrasza?
From 13 to 16 with this deck only won 6 games so far but getting better with it. I really like it so not ready to retire it yet. Played my best game against a priest last night. Thanks to Dupes and Youthful ended up with 4 Reno Jacksons and had to use 3 of them to win. It was without question the longest game of Hearthstone I have ever played.
Would brann be any good in this deck? Brann+coldlight could burn a lot of cards
Yeah, we think so
Nice deck! Will try ItIt out
imo the second sludge belcher is pretty useless taunt like him do nothing and he is way too slow most of the time i rather put in an emperor thaurissann because you often have a big hand and if you can make it cheaper you wont overdraw. also most your important cards are high cost like reno and flamestrike and sometimes i dont only want to clear the board but also set up a taunt and often i am missing the mana for that
hating this deck by now after 9 games straight up losing... i am a rank 4-5 player and i played all the old mill decks so far (druid, mage rogue) and this is by farno good.. way too inconsistent for reno just lost a game because my last 2 cards were duplicates if they werent i would have won... and for such long games to be so rng dependent on one card even if you played correct and still lose is the worst feeling ever.
The funniest thing about this deck is how long does it take for it to fail.
Faced it 4 times on ladder so far, for some reason it's popular. Once with Beast Druid, once with Gruul/Murloc Mage, twice with Armor up/Varian Warrior. Since this Fatigue Mage has little to no win conditions aside of fatigue itself, I just kept big hitters for last, pummeling them down with Malorne and Gruul when they had no cards. I especially enjoyed the Warrior game where the opponent got to fatigue with 30 HP, and I did with 15 HP and 30 armor.
I guess this deck might be good against some aggro, or SMORC, thanks to the amount of healing, but it's a bit easy to play around it. And 30 min per game can get bothersome.
woot
Do you think there are two many dup cards in here? I have yet to be able to use reno, and a couple of times where I needed him... thoughts?
I find myself having to have leave the list up just to try and checkmark no duplicates and I still play Reno and don't get healed :(
I will be down to ~5 cards in my deck and still have duplicates :(
I played this exact same deck, all fun and trippy till i got to duel with a Druid and BAM
GOD DAM F******* MELORNE ( i lost for all the times he prevented from burning, so im including and owl instead of the sheep, just for you Melorne, just for you)
