A first draft of my attempt to create a more Battlecry and Overload orientated Shaman.
Didn't want this to be too gimmicky and combo orientated so each card had to stand pretty well on its own, but there are some nice synergies between Brann Bronzebeard and the various Battlecry cards, like 6 damage from a fire elemental, double card draw from an Azure Drake or a huge attack total Fireguard.
I've also included Tunnel Trogg to give me a decent opener, while still being able to pressure their life total from the off. It can take out many 1 drops, and isn't a dead draw later in the game. Dropping this and lightning storm on turn 4 gives you a board clear and a 3/3 for 4 mana (overload 2) which is a much better deal than usual.
Then there's the usual combination of Doomhammer and Al'Akir plus Rockbiters to add a finisher. Plus the two crackles can weigh in here too for extra damage.
I'm thinking Ancestral knowledge might not be necessary, maybe a Haunted Creeper instead for more early board presence, or another Defender of Argus to fend off aggro. Could also add another 7+ attack minion to try and overload their hard removal, given that the fireguards are more likely to be attack 7+ now.
Nice decklist probably will be staple shaman from now on.Maybe you could play heal bot instead of doomhammer in some heavy burst metas or loatheb instead of al akhir but nice list overall
Thanks for the feedback, a couple of good tech options there.
Though I'm mainly concerned about whether those Crackles will do enough to justify inclusion.
No Unbound Elemental as he's simply too slow, a 2/4 for 3 mana with no instant effect is a terrible 3-drop in the current game which is full of better 3/4 3-drops.
