Intro:
I love to Theorycraft before an adventure comes out!
I am also a big Hunter fan, I reached legend with Hunter twice.
Also I can say that I have a golden hunter and 4000 normal wins.
Soo Let me show you why this deck is special:
Deathrattle idea:
You have got the strongest qdeathrattle cards from the game in this deck, use your Feign Death to trigger them. Use your Baron Rivendare to double the effect. The funny thing about Explorer's Hat is that it works like Headcrack, you always get it back in your hand. Use this card to trigger your Nerubian Egg. A strong combo is to do first Explorer's Hat on a minion and follow your play with a Feign Death. Why one Echoing Ooze? Play this card and put an Explorer's Hat on him, after this turn you can Feign Death if your oozes are still alive! These plays wil give you so much extra Explorer's Hats for the rest of the game :) Try to keep board control, that's important.
Why 1x Feign Death ??
I think that 2x feign death is not steady enough. If you got 2 feign death in your (early) hand without having deathrattle drops or hat's it will be useless and you will lose the game for sure. I replaced 1 feign death with an Ironbeak Owl because the owl is just a very effective silence card. In this meta you will need that. If you don't agree with me, just put a second feign death in your deck and let me know how that works for you! ;)
Update:
I replaced a sludge belcher with the new LoE card Djinni of Zephyrs!
Why did I put a Djinni of Zephyrs in this deck..? Because it is made for a perfect combo with the Explorer's Hat. It isn't actually a bad drop if you don't have a explorer's hat in your hand. Just wait for it and play this card together with explorer's hat. It gives you an extra hat and a 5/7 on the board! I've tried this theory out today and it worked out really good. It makes the deck also even more fun. ;)
Update 2:
When Sir Finley Mrrgglton is playable and available, you should throw that card in your deck!! Try to mulligan it and use this card get yourself a better hero power for your midrange/control/combo deck. I theory crafted this card so im not sure how good it will work out. I am very excited to test it out! Until that you can replace Sir Finley with an Abusive Sergeant or a Leper Gnome.
Own choice:
You can put a Lock and Load instead of an abusive sergeant in this deck.
After a lot of playing with this deck I've realized that the deck needs some extra card draw. Because you will end up a lot of time with a lot of hats, this is where Lock and Load comes in action! You can Just keep drawing cards. I am not a really big fan of lock and load, I also think that there are not enough low cost spells in this deck. So I kept the abusive sergeant. It is on you to decide which card fits better in your deathattle deck. Thank you for all the feedback!

Lots of complaints, but I got my Hunter Dominance quest done in 5 games with this deck. I didn't have Feign Death, so I put in a Flare. The deck still worked fine and Explorer's Hat is fun to play with, with all these small minions.

I honestly can't say that this deck will get you anywhere. No mid control. Most likely will take too many damage before being able to have any board control. There is no solid foundation.
I dunno... It looks to me just like the same curve as a midrange hunter. Almost identical, actually? They just traded the secret/beast synergy out for buffs synergy. Seems fair to me...
That said, I think secrets and beasts are probably a bit better.
If you use Hat you need to use it as a replacement for the heropower imo. The deck needs to be more midrange/control focussed I think.

damn, last time i had such fun with hunter was when i opened 2x feign deaths long time ago.
i was very sceptical about quality of loe, but after playing this deck and some decks with reno... i'm glad i was wrong. Also adventure really feels like adventure if you know what i mean.
I don't like abuse sergeants here though, experimenting with various cards, looking for better replacement.
i think a deck with 13 3slots sucks no matter what... the idea is nice and fun, but there gotta be some ways to substitute some 3 slots to 1, 4 and 5
I found abusive sergeant and the ooze to be very dead cards. Yes, there is potential synergy, but I find that between lack of card draw and having no good 1 drops, was leading to a lot of loses. What I have been doing is -2 Abusive -1 ooze +2 Leper Gnome +1 Feign Death,
I saw where the maker of the deck said that it sucks having 2 feign deaths in your hand but I DISAGREE. I've had great games where I play sylvanas and double feign death. But at any rate, it's far to valuable of a card not to have in your hand at all times. I am also feeling like Baron Rivendare is very slow too, but I've yet to really draw him much to get value, which is why I believe it to be so slow, but I am continuing to play with him to see if the trend changes.
try ladder, casual now filled with braindead aggro for some reason, while in ranked i encountered quite a lot of creative decks, people experimenting with new cards - best time for ladder.
Is this Hearthstone or Team Fortress 2? Can't tell.
I don't think you have enough low cost spells to really make use of lock and load, only 7 other spells besides lock and load here.
The idea of this deck is great but it doesn't do well. Always running out of cards and terribad when it comes to the popular aggro decks

Hah, I have the same problem. End up with a half-dozen hats and no way to finish the game.

Lock and Load seems like it would be a good card for this deck?
It doesn't work with Ooze.
Because of this I've replaced the abusives with Lance Carrier.
For 1 Mana more you can deal with 1/1 without dying, you can play it on a controlled board to keep the increased damage.
You can play it on an Egg, even when only 1/1 or 1/2s are on the enemys side of the board.
You can combine it with Ooze to get 2 3/2.
You can't kill Knife Juggler (& co) any more with the Carrier.
