Key Card: Elise Starseeker
Dunno if this works lol
Basically use effects that return Elise Starseeker to your hand and trigers battlecry several times.
Use draw abilities whenever possible to find Golden Monkeys in your deck.
Brann Bronzebeard combos nicely with Elise Starseeker and even Coldlight Oracle.
Edit 7/11/2015:
Thx for all the comments :)
For those who concerned about this, the deck this just showing a rough idea of my thoughts on this. It could be loads of changes after the patch hits. As you guys mentioned, three issues are essential to be tested later:
1. Average turns it takes to find the Golden Monkey.
2. Will we be able to survive before that? (Consider balance of draw power and cards for survival)
3. How good is Golden Monkey?
But anyways even if it is not competitive, I believe it could be a fun deck with reasonable strength to play :P
Edit 11/12/2015:
As the mighty Elise Starseeker finally unlocked, all comments and tests are super welcomed :)
Since this is a theorycraft that created one month ago, it should be lots of improvements on this deck from now on. However I really wanna keep this snapshot of my thoughts one month ago so I will not make any changes on this theorycraft. If I figure out a more feasible version of this I will save it in a new page. Also, I will be glad to see different versions that you guys created.
Have fun!
I love slow decks but this one simply doesn't work.
:(
Fun deck, but I've been getting a lot of completely useless opening hands. 10 cards and nothing worth playing.
Sap face.
Tell me more about how this isn't a terrible draw and all I have to do is sap face to really turn things around.
I like playing this deck. But need very lucky for Golden Monkey.
What should i gang up? elise? isn't it adding more cards to the deck making harder to get the monkey?
Maybe [card]Coldlight Oracle[/card]
Eh, about as well as mill rogue would since its essentially the same deck. Even if you get the Golden Monkey, you still don't play it until the very end of the game after you've used all healbots, clears, etc. Play it more as a mill rogue with an added win condition, and it might do okay.
I love this deck so much. Not because it wins me anything, but because it's like a little single-player hearthstone minigame to play against innkeeper with :D The reward I play for is the rare early monkey draw and then I get to play with all the shinies I don't have yet.
+It's also really fun with normal lord slitherspear. Specially when sir finley gives you lesser heal and you can fish longer
what about replacing something (i think Oracle) with gangetzan for some kind of miracle deck?
ya getting crap cards kinda kills this deck not fun and no way to win.
Well after a week I've won ONE GAME so ya its 1% RNG and 99% fail.
I NEED THIS DECK. I AM SURE AS HECK SAVING UP FOR LOE.
Fun starting to run very thin on this one. Lose far more than I win.
This is amazing mill-deck. Currently won a lot of face-hunters and midrange-decks.
This deck is really just so mill, but with good combo by Elise.
It is nice to know that you have this powerful combo like that.
But i ve got a lot problems vs dragon-priests. Idk why. o_o
Well, anyway, well theorycrafted deck!
i love this deck! Funniest deck i've ever played. ^^
This is kind of off topic. Can we please discuss the deck and perhaps Elise Starseeker.
This set of images from Ozan appears highly on topic to me. I think it demonstrates well that the strategy of centering an entire deck around Elise Starseeker and the Golden Monkey may still be mostly ineffective against a highly optimized netdeck. So... fun to play? Sure! A winning play? Maybe not so much.
I made something similar today but with deathlords instead of pandas and some minor modifications. I must admit that it's even funnier to play than mill rogue ^^
I really love this deck. Wanted to try it so badly and now with the 4th wing out it is possible. Hilarious results and this will probably be a permanent go-to deck for pure fun. Also what would be the best card(s) to gang up or shadowstep, because I've been ganging up and shadowstepping elise most of the time for more maps.
