Introduction:
I'm Sipiwi94. Last season I hit Legend #6. (I ended the season below this)
This deck is all about getting board control with good early game removals and minions. You have to keep making good trades all game until you have lethal. Remember to count for lethal because this deck has an unexpected burst with Assassin's Blade, Deadly Poison, Leeroy Jenkins, etc.
The cards:
The rogue cards are simply high value cards that often trade more than 1 for 1. This is not true for Sap and Cold Blood though. I found out that Sap was very good at closing out games since it's just a cheap Assassinate until the minion is played again. Cold Blood is also good at finishing games (Leeroy Jenkins +Cold Blood), or playd when the opponent has an empty board.
The neutral cards are also primarily high value cards. I want to highlight some though. Blood Knight is a decent minion that can single handedly win games. I often have Argent Squire + Blood Knight in my hand and it's very powerful. Loot Hoarder, Azure Drake and Bloodmage Thalnos are needed to not run out of cards, and spell power is very useful in most rogue decks.
I think Defias Ringleader deserves a mention here. I tried it out, but found more value in Harvest Golem and Loot Hoarders. It still a good alternative though.
If you don't have the legendaries Defias Ringleader or Scarlet Crusader could be an alternative to Nat Pagle and Bloodmage Thalnos since the card draws isn't a "must have" when you have Loot Hoarder. There is really no alternative to Leeroy Jenkins, but he is not needed for this deck to work. He could be replaced with Chillwind Yeti, Black Knight or whatever 4-5 drop you'd like.
Pros/cons
Pros:
- It does well against most decks.
- You have to make a lot of decisions (not like aggro lock).
- It feels good to win with this deck, since it's not just a lucky draw (sometimes a Leeroy pops out in a fortunate moment though :-P)
Cons:
- Taunts can be a pain. You can normally handle 1 or 2 big taunt but more can hurt.
Mulligan Strategy:
This depends on the match up, but there are some guidelines you could follow in the beginning.
- Backstab, Deadly Poison, Argent Squire, Loot Hoarder, Nat Pagle, Harvest Golem should almost always be kept in the hand.
- SI:7 Agent should almost always be kept as second player.
- Against aggro Eviscerate and second Backstab are sometimes worth keeping.
- Bloodmage Thalnos is usually a good keep if you have a Backstab
- You should seek a 1, 2, and 3-drop in your opening hand, so if you have 2 2-drops you might want to throw 1 away.
Last words:
I would love to hear if anyone has succes with the deck and if I'm missing something in this description of the deck. Good luck on the battlefield!

Changes:
15-03-2014: -1 Pagle, -2 Sen'jin, -2 Argent Commander, +2 Defias Ringleader, +2 Chillwind Yeti, +1 Sprint
08-04-2014: - 1 Blood Knight, -1 Sap, -1 Cold Blood, +1 Black Knight, +1 Cairne Bloodhoof, +1 Edwin van Cleef
im added Ragnaros instead of Blood Knight ( realy dont like him! allways only 3/3, and sometimes i prefer to keep divine shield :) )
And deck becomes even more funnier! nice option for a late game when board is crear and i,m out of cards.
"a bad draw" Hope you mean "bad draws". You can't tell anything about a deck before playing at least 10 games
Great Deck! I realy enjoyed playing it.
But what can you recomend to replace Leroy? Van Cleef , Greenskin or Tinkmaster? or something else?
tinkmaster did not impress me in this deck, i always wanted something to fight, not the removal. But may be im wrong.
thanks for a great deck.
Van Cleef or just a scarlet crusader. Maybe even King Mukla
What do you say to switching out blood knight for van cleef?
Should be fine. I don't own him, but I think they are equally playable
Amazing deck! I don't have Bloodmage Thalnos so I replaced him with Tinkmaster. So far, I am 7-0 with this deck! (Beat 3 Huntards, a Shaman, 2 Mages, & a Warrior so far).. works well against most matchups. Thanks for sharing!
Good deck. Only problem is that blood knight. Since this deck does not have any real "prime" removal targets it tends to disappear right after its summoned.
Siwipi Just won 4 in a row with this deck, traded Edwin for the blood knight...
CONCLUSION: i'm either really lucky or this deck is totally sick! I am just smashing everyone where with my Chakki Burst Shaman I would have to play turn after turn and drag out the game
Very fun deck, And great tempo Thanks for making it :)
+1
Update1: Just went from 16 to 12 with no problem at all (even though I did not play with blood knight I highly recommend playing with edwin)
That makes me so happy. Thanks!
This worries me, you DE'd like 20 cards to make a GOLDEN epic card?
Seems pretty straight forward and overall solid. I'm surprised you didn't say anything about the Senjin in your deck. Thats probably the most unique part of the deck compared to other rogue tempo decks. The taunt he brings seems unnecesary since you aren't really protecting anything.
You seemed to have put in a lot of work in your guide, much appreciated!
Good point about Shieldmasta. I added an explanation
I dont think Blood Knight is neccessary, so any 3 drop would work (Scarlet Crusader/Sun Cleric) should work.
Against mages always trade minions after turn 5.
