EDIT: REWORKED DECKLIST AND UPDATED GUIDE!!!!
Hey everybody,
today I will share one of my favourite dks with you. It just destroys any kind of aggro deck (Secret Pally included) and is often even able to outvalue control ecmatch ups!
The goal of the deck is mostly to out control your opponent going for fatigue (if you encounter a Control Warrior you might need to play a little faster). Generally, your early game should focus on clearing the board consistenly to avoid as much face damage as possible. For that reason you want to mulligan for Doomsayer, Shadow Word: Death, Deathlord and your other early game removal.
Going into mid game you can go for Deathlord, Tournament Medic or Sludge Belcher. Important is to keep always in mind that the second you are able to take the pace out of the game you should go for Shadowform to have consistenly answers to your opponent board. With your AOE removal from Holy Nova, Excavated Evil and Lightbomb you have almost nothing to fear anymore. You also got a lot of answers to bigger minions with Vol'jin, Holy Fire, Shadow Word: Death and Entomb.
Late game is pretty much the same as before, but you got options going for Ysera or value cards you got playing Entomb to finally out control and out sustain your opponent. Deathwing is again another tech card. Since this deck does not have a lot of draw it can be a useful mechanic in late game if your opponent is about to overwhelm you with his board. If you baited out the opponents Big Game Hunter with cards you got with Entomb there might even be a chance that Deathwing stays unanswered on the board which is basically an instant win.
Cardswaps:
Explosive Sheep can be used instead of a second Doomsayer although I prefer it the way I made the decklist.
Sylvanas Windrunner can be used instead of Vol'jin.
Basically every single card in this deck is about controlling your opponents and removing their board while staying alive yourself. If you have questions or ideas to improve this deck just leave a comment below. I will try to answer as soon as possible. :)
Don't forget to leave an upvote if you liked the guide. It's really appreciated! :)
Changelog:
After reworking this deck none, yet. However, I might make a few changes if I find a weakness and explain them here - so keep that in mind. :)
This is a quite fun deck :D
I just swapped 1x Vol'jin 1x Deathwing for 2x Entomb , because I was facing lot of control decks and that wrecks control warrior so hard. What are your thoughts on that ? :·3
Anyway, good job with this !
how does this deck deal with mech mage? all the minions have more health than attack so can't really be taken out with holy nova or light bob. i i tried to efficiently remove as much damage from the board as a could per turn but it's like for everyone that goes down, 2-3 take their place
Hey, I've been testing every shadow form deck for about six months now. I'm kind of the shadow form guy. I will absolutely try out this deck! Thank you for being one of the few people who actually play the game creatively!
hello there i think i saw you versus a streamer p4wnyhof arround rank 6 :P , i have the dust to craft this do you think its worth for climbing tho ? :D
As a fan of Shadowform i will test this deck out. I will post my results.

Hi,
I've been trying to build a competitive shadow-form deck for months, yours seems pretty good!
I still have a few questions:
How do you intend to make Doomsayer work if there is almost no card which synergizes with it? (Like frost nova with mage etc...) What is the typical situation you drop it? In early game when the opponent has not enough mana to react?
How can I replace Deathwing? It's the only card I miss and I don't think this particular deck is worth crafting it. (Even if I admitt it can do a huge card advantage in late game)
Thank you, I will try it this afternoon!
Edit: Don't you think you should put more cards which work with the new inspire mechanic? Like the new priest legendary, or the garrisson commander?
Edit2: I have Prophet Velen, it might be usefull too, right?
Very useful answer, thank you very much!
I had no time to test it today but I surely will, I will keep you in touch!
Sorry for strange english, see ya!
Ok so I played your deck a lot today and I'm disapointed. I wish Shadowform would be viable but it's really not that useful even in this type of fatigue deck but that's just my feeling. I mean in late game it can be great but it's around turn 15 or so. Before that, you've got to heal yourself a lot with all the aggro deck. So basically for me it's a dead card most of the time. It's my experience after 12 game with your exact list. (I know, it's not really representative)
I decided to try again after some changes:
I removed Mind Control; Shadowform; [/card]; [card]Acolyte of Pain; Cabal Shadow Priest; Ironbeak Owl and replaced them with Mass Dispel x1; Justicar Trueheart: Thoughtsteal x2: Zombie Chow x1; Power Word: Glory x1
I know it is not anymore the real spirit of your deck, but you gave me some nice ideas since I never played fatigue priest before.
Thx again
Yes of course, I know I didn't mastered your deck, bc you built it so you really know each purpose of each card and you played it a lot more so my review is not representative like I said!
I'm still a golden priest so I know most of the match up etc... I was struggling at rank 10 with your deck. Probably because the ranked mode is so fucked up with all those aggro netdeck.
I didn't delete your original deck so trust me, I'm going to give it another try.
when you say it worked out pretty well could you be more specific?
so you've been advancing on ranked? that's what im mostly concerned with. And of course just because one player can succeed with a deck doesnt, mean everyone will, or everyone would be legend
