Decided to create a feign death deck and it ended up doing alot better than I expected. Went from rank 5 0 stars to legend in about 4 hours with a decent win rate: 35-9.
Edit 10/29: Replaced webspinner with sludge belcher because if you draw webspinner late game it's not an immediate presence like belcher. Sludge belcher is also good against the growing number of aggro decks. Not to mention, it works with feign death too. Note: If you find you are not facing many paladins/mages/hunters then you can replace flare with a second sludge belcher or a webspinner if you really like the card
Mull Guide:
General: DONT KEEP TRAPS IN STARTING HAND. If coin keep two 2 drops and if no coin then just one two drop and build mana curve. Mad scientist is the best two drop and if you get two scientists even without coin keep them.
Special cards to keep for each class:
Paladin: UTH, flare, owl
Warlock: owl, hunter's mark
Mage: Flare, eaglehorn bow(only if coin)
Hunter: Flare
Priest: Hunter's Mark, Owl, eaglehorn bow(only if coin)
Warrior: Owl
Hunter: Flare
Rogue: Nothing special
Druid: Eaglehorn bow for aspirant. Hunter's mark for fel reaver. They run alot of big drops even if the deck doesn't use fel reaver

I've never actually played a Feign Death deck. Is 1 Feign Death enough for the entire schtick of the deck? When do I want to use that Feign Death?
this deck is gonna be fun with the new hat
I always liked the concept with Feign Death. Currently on a roll with this one. I use Ball of Spiders just for the fun of it, and I am one of those without Dr. Boom and Snake Trap, so double Sludge Belcher and Bear Trap.
I've always liked Feign decks, but they usually don't fit the Meta. This one seems to play the current meta like a boss. I'm cruising up the ladder today. Good work.
Nope because if you don't have any death rattles on the board it's useless. Atleast with feign death you can play deathrattle minion and then use it like playing sylvanus and then using feign death,
9-3 today with this deck
seems great, i'll give it a try
I am afraid, but this feign death combo is the best of them...so...nothing will. This is why I do not play this deck, even though I own all the other necessary cards.
What should you use Feign Death for normally? You only really get value from the 2 mana with Sylvanas and Highmane.
There are alot of deathrattles it can work with in this deck: boom bots, creeper, scientist, shredder, belcher, sylvanas, highmane. If you're against aggro decks then it's fine to use it early like if you have haunted creeper and juggler you can use it to trigger the juggler or even if you have a scientist and you really need a secret you can use it. If you use it on more than one deathrattle minion it's already worth more than the 2 mana. But that sylvanas feign death combo can be so op sometimes.
Guide please :D
Why flare? Why don't we go for 2 feign deaths?
and 1 snake 1 freeze or 2 freeze?
The easy answer to that: How often would you be happy to have 2 Feign Deaths in your hand, and how many times do you actually think you will be able to trigger it in a game? Playing FD means that you either have board control, or you're playing it opposite another Deathrattle card on the same turn. If you were already winning, now you're winning more. If you weren't already winning, a second FD is highly unlikely to turn the game around if the first doesn't do what you need it to.
In terms of Flare, its anti-Secret Pally and (just as important) anti-Mirror Image.
In terms of 1vs 2 Freeze, that will be a matter of preference and possibly a tweak you make one way or the other based on the matches you are having in succession.
Flare is good against paladin and mages and currently there are a lot of pallys and mages on the ladder; if you find you aren't playing against too many paladins and mages then you can substitute flare for another webspinner or card of your choice. Additionally, having three different traps means you can confuse the opponent and they may play around the wrong traps. Also, snake trap is SUPER IMPORTANT: Knife juggler + snake trap is a very strong combo, not to mention it can trigger kill command and houndmaster can be used on the snakes. 1 freezing trap is good enough because alot of times, especially vs paladin, weak minions such as silverhand recruit trigger it, but it's very good against other decks like control warrior where using freezing trap on a minion like grommash has won me the game. 2 Feign deaths is just unnecessary because as Rav950 said it would be a dead card if you drew two.
I agree with your points about the drawbacks of running 2 Feign Deaths, but at the same time I've played several games with this deck and I've only seen the card once.
