After running into a nasty rash of rush decks, I ended up having to make a few adjustments to help compensate. 9 is still the highest rank so far, but I've gotten to 12 again recently.
Since Dreadsteed is a Deathrattle minion that summons itself, it has excellent synergy w/Undertaker as can be seen below. As such, getting both on the board together is ideal. Both Baron Rivendare and Kel'Thuzad have abilities which allow Dreadsteed to mass produce itself when needed.

Deathrattle now starts at Turn 2 w/Unstable Ghoul. I had debated on Explosive Sheep a little bit, but the Taunt helps much more. He can be combined w/Rivendare to get a quick little horse horde going. The other real change is Demonfire which also has more synergy with the deck. Ideally, it'll be used to pump Mistress of Pain for extra life gain, but it's also been effective helping other Demons trade like Gang Boss or whatever Bane brings down the pike as well as removal where needed. While I did like Darkbomb, it was mostly used on minions anyways.
For in-depth strategies such as mulligans, hero matchups and the like, please upvote the deck. The ones I'll start with will be a couple that can be difficult at times: Control Warrior and Dragon Priest.

Posted Oct 16, 2015 (TGT Launch)Interesting strategy with undertaker. I like the idea of a dreadsteed deck, want to use hobgoblins and Anima golem. I think one problem is that dread is a 4 drop, and current meta is too fast with pallys and tempo mage everywhere.

Posted Oct 17, 2015 (TGT Launch)The Anima Golem I can understand considering the Steeds make sure it sticks around. I did have Hobgoblin brought to my attention before, but the main thing to remember is the wording on its text which is "play" as opposed to "summon." While Hobgoblin does indeed give the Steeds a bonus, it would only work twice and only out of hand. The Undertaker works around that by saying "Whenever you summon" and Dreadsteed's ability is considered a summon in itself.
In regards to Tempo Mage, Dreadsteed has been my best friend against the Flamewaker and Rhonin/Arcane Missiles. I had one match where my opponent managed to get a Rhonin off a Portal and played another one later and I still won it.
In regards to the Pallys, I've been debating replacing Knife Juggler w/Unstable Ghoul which would go better w/the Deathrattle theme. That being said, Voidcaller does help speed out the Steeds when needed and, if absolutely necessary, combining him w/Pact can get out Mal'Ganis early if both are in hand.
