Hello, i promised a guide if i get 10 votes so here we go;
Core Strategies:
-
First priority is take control of the board with your heavy early game cards.
- Whenever you take control of the board, immediately play your Burgle or Beneath the Grounds to make some mid-game, late-game investment.
- "Zombie Chow, Haunted Creeper, Nerubian Egg, Unearthed Raptor" as you know, this guys are very strong at the begining of the game. And we will make them stronger with our other 6x 1-mana support cards (2x Cold Blood {use it on Nerubian Egg if you can}, 2x Deadly Poison, 2x Abusive Sergeant)
-
Why do we have 1x Dark Iron Skulker, 1x Blade Flurry and 1x Fan of Knives? Isn't it too much area of effect damage for a mid-range deck?
- It is the strongest side of mid-range rogue. Whenever you decide to clear the board with a aoe spell(Flamestrike,Hellfire etc...), you use too much mana and after clearing, you cannot play a minion which is very important for mid-range deck. However Dark Iron Skulker has a huge value about this matter. Hits 2 aoe dmg and 4-3 minion which is fantastic for a mid-range momentum.
- Whenever you use Deadly Poison and Tinker's Sharpsword Oil, It makes you well prepared for 2-mana board clear for next turn. Thanks to Blade Flurry. Thats how we use this guys on mid-range. Preparation.
- Antique Healbot for holding aggro decks besides area of effect options.
-
Mid-Range momentum.
- Whenever you have acceptable control on the board, immediately play your over powered value cards.
- This guys are 2x Unearthed Raptor for 3-mana, (With this card, this deck's mid range momentum is completed.)
- 2x Piloted Shredder for 4-mana,
- Loatheb for 5-mana,
- Sylvanas Windrunner for 6-mana,
- Dr. Boom for 7-mana,
- Ragnaros the Firelord for 8-mana
- And your "unending win condition" Anub'arak for 9-mana.
Mulligan (From high priority to low priority):
- Vs. Hunter : Zombie Chow, Haunted Creeper, Deadly Poison, Nerubian Egg, Unearthed Raptor and Abusive Sergeant.
- Vs. Paladin : Zombie Chow, Haunted Creeper, Deadly Poison, Nerubian Egg, Abusive Sergeant and Fan of Knives.
- Vs. Mage: Zombie Chow(If your 2-mana beginners are also good, wait until Mirror Entity to play this card), Haunted Creeper, Deadly Poison, Nerubian Egg, Unearthed Raptor, Beneath the Grounds.
- Vs. Druid: Deadly Poison, Beneath the Grounds or Burgle(not both of them), Piloted Shredder, Nerubian Egg, Haunted Creeper, Unearthed Raptor and Cold Blood(This card saves you from any Innervate aggression).
- Vs. Warrior: Beneath the Grounds, Burgle, Nerubian Egg, Unearthed Raptor, Piloted Shredder, Haunted Creeper and Dr. Boom.
- Vs. Shaman : Zombie Chow, Haunted Creeper, Deadly Poison, Nerubian Egg, Unearthed Raptor and Abusive Sergeant.
- Vs. Warlock: Nerubian Egg, Beneath the Grounds, Zombie Chow, Unearthed Raptor and Haunted Creeper.
- Vs. Rogue: Zombie Chow, Haunted Creeper, Nerubian Egg, Unearthed Raptor, Beneath the Grounds and Deadly Poison.
- Vs. Priest: Deadly Poison, Beneath the Grounds or Burgle(Not both of them), Zombie Chow, Abusive Sergeant, Haunted Creeper, Unearthed Raptor, Piloted Shredder, Nerubian Egg, Dr. Boom and Cold Blood.
Replacements:
First of all, this replacements may hurt your mid-range momentum so i dont recommend it but if you dont have the card, replacements are also good solid cards too.
- Sylvanas Windrunner can be replaced with Trade Prince Gallywix, Cairne Bloodhoof, Emperor Thaurissan or Nexus-Champion Saraad.
- Ragnaros the Firelord ---> Sneed's Old Shredder, Chromaggus or Kel'Thuzad(i didnt try it but people on comments say they have good results with kel+anub combo.)

Working on:
- I was working on Sabotage with Blingtron 3000;
Played with +1 Sabotage, +1Blingtron 3000 and -1 Loatheb, -1 Antique Healbot for a while. It does go very well against mid ranges-control decks and even sometimes it does go well against hunter and paladin because they both can destroy Eaglehorn Bow and Truesilver Champion. But i'm not still sure about this revision. Time will tell.
- Just started to working on Harrison Jones and Blingtron 3000 combo. I will let you guys know how it goes ASAP.
- Just started to working on Captain Greenskin. I will let you guys know how it goes ASAP.
Revisions:
- -1 SI:7 Agent, +1 Sludge Belcher: SI:7 Agent is a very good card but sometimes when you started without coin, you cannot use them when you have two of them. Plus one good solid taunt card makes a huge difference against aggros.
- -1 Sludge Belcher, -2 Antique Healbot, -1 SI:7 Agent, +2 Unearthed Raptor, +2 Defender of Argus: (17.11.2015): You are so welcome raptor... Plus with raptos, now we can use Defender of Argus on this deck at last.
Screenshots:
- Control Warrior (with 4 armor up) got rekt by Anub'arak. He almost use his every single legendary but i killed them all with it.
This is one of those decks that looks like a lot of fun, but when you play you get dead hands for days. 0-6 so far.
I think that not having removals like Sap makes it harder to control the game to reach momentum. Otherwise good deck.
hey
0-14? wow thats really... wow
Maybe you just aren't good at rogue?
What do you think of replacing the shredders with seijin shieldmasta just to stop a little aggro? since that archetype is the most popular now you can use that seijin to make him trade his minions or waste a turn with a iron beak owl/spell to remove it
Hello m8
I dont recommend it. Replacing Piloted Shredders would create a big hole on your mid range momentum thats what i'm %100 sure. But i just updated my guide and add +1 Sludge Belcher for taunt needs.

Granted, you were right, piloted shredder helps a lot on turn 4
I made this changes
I removed tinker and fan of knives since I never felt that they were making a difference, plus there were too many 1x cards to had a consistent play, I replaced them with another s17 agent and iron skulk, also I changed the loatheb for another sludge belcher.
I want to use anubarak but don't had it, so I replaced him with ysera, I hadn't reached a point where he decides the game but I think that is ok
Hey
I know m8 sometimes my ragnaros the firelord also makes my fuckin crazy AHHH. But sometimes it hits excatly what i want and that hit winning the game.
About Beneath the Grounds, when i play it on turn 3 or 2, i always every single time gain a huge momentum with 2-3 Nerubians. It would be very unluck for you :(
And burgle, c'mon man it cant be worst all the time... It saved my ass countless times.... There is a game i never forget. When i was losing against mysterious challanger pala. It gaves me a Tirion Fordring and Lay on Hands, which is i never forget :)
Thank you for this deck! I have been looking for something on the rogue side to finally try in TGT that involved nerubians. Seems like a good lineup, I will start testing tonight.
Sadly, I don't own Anub'arak, but I have some replacements in the meantime.
Thanks again for posting!
Hello
Glad to hear that you liked it too m8. Hope you can get Anub'arak asap.
GL HF!
hello
Just updated my guide about Sabotage and win ratios. Added x1 Sludge Belcher.

I think Antique Healbotis the key card hhhhhhhhh
Antique Healbot > ALL
Kappa
Thanks for this deck, mate!
I love when people take risks and try completly new decks! Especially when it's rogue.
Keep going! ; )
Hey
Thx man glad to hear that you like it.
GL HF!
I really love the concept behind this deck. I wish I had Anub'arak. Alas I do not. Instead, I have made quite a few changes to tailor it to my needs and wants. The Cold Blood + cheap value minions is pretty legit for controlling the board or just adding some extra late game power.
For changes I did -1 Anub'arak, -1 Sylvanas Windrunner, -1 Beneath the Grounds, -1 Abusive Sergeant. In their places I put +1 Burgle, +1 Sabotage, +1 Sap, +1 Nefarian and at the ranks I'm playing at (hovering around 13 currently) I'm finding some success.
I found that Sylvanas was a bit too slow for me, Beneath the Ground cannot get you guaranteed immediate value like Burgle can, and I opted for more ways to control the board. In a way I often feel like Priest in Rogue's clothing. :P
I'm happy some semblance of mid-range/control exists for Rogue. It's making it far more enjoyable for me.
hey
just updated the guide. New chart and Sabotage, Blingtron 3000 try.
Gl hf
hey
hunter is worst match up atm. try to hold until you got enough minion and oil to nuke hunters face hard.
Feel like Kel-thuzad could be another possible replacement for Ragnaros in this deck. The possibility of re-summoning Anub is very tasty.
hey
yea it would be awesome. i think kelthuzad would be another replacement for ragnaros as you said.
