Please note: This deck is part of the "Crusader Deck Series". Check out my other decks for more Crusader Decks!

What is a Crusader Deck?

A Crusader Deck is a heavy control oriented deck. It contains at least 1x Grand Crusader, the card which gave this series her name. This card generates ressources (in this special case one random Paladin card) and Crusader Deck's main theme is about generating ressources to have more than your opponent. Other examples of such cards are Nefarian, Burgle, Thoughtsteal, Gang Up etc.
Sometimes 2x Coldlight Oracles are used to speed up the card options and to reach faster the fatigue state for both players. It's not a "classical" mill deck, since your main goal is not to burn your opponents cards (if it happens - good for you!), but control decks are better played when you have more options and don't rely on topdecks. With 2x Coldlight Oracle topdecking for you will most likely not happen in a Crusader Deck.

All Crusader Decks are playtested on ranked mode and will allow you to climb with a lot of fun but also with a lot of invested time. There will be 1 Crusader Deck for each class and the decks will evolve with every added expansion/adventure, so be sure to check out my other decks and keep revisitting/voting/commenting them - thanks!

Other Crusader decks can be found here:

Warrior - Armor Crusader
Mage - Magic Crusader
Warlock - Demon Crusader
Priest - Holy Crusader
Druid - Wild Crusader
Hunter - Crusader Arrow
Paladin - Brave Crusader
Rogue - Phantomas Crusader
Shaman - Crusader Overload

How to play this deck:

You mulligan for Mortal Coil, Darkbomb, Imp Gang Boss and Voidcaller. If you are on The Coin, you also can keep a Tournament Medic. He will negate the damage of your hero power (2 mana faster than Justicar Trueheart) and is also very hard to kill with 8 hp. With a second Tournament Medic and 2x Antique Healbot your total life should not be a problem, so use your hero power as often as possible. Wilfred Fizzlebang will help to get your high drops discounted and even if you get only one of these for zero mana then Wilfred Fizzlebang has done his job very well.

With double Hellfire and Twisting Nether you have enough AOE to gain board control.

Nexus-Champion Saraad, Emperor Thaurissan and Grand Crusader provide a good midgame/late game while the Fearsome Doomguards are a very tough minion to deal with. If they are gated with a Voidcaller in the early game they usually trade 3:1.

Your endgame is very strong with Lord Jaraxxus, Mal'Ganis, Chromaggus and Nefarian. Also you have a very large removal arsenal: Mortal Coil, Dark Bomb, Ironbeak Owl, Bane of Doom and your AOE cards will trade for a lot of your opponents ressources.

Crusader cards are: Nexus-Champion Saarad, Grand Crusader, Chromaggus and Nefarian

Tech cards: Big Game HunterBane of Doom

I hope you have fun with the deck.
