Here's the thing... You really don't need anything other than Justicar to make this kind of deck work.  Every other legendary can be replaced. There are loads of options to work with that are just as viable if you don't have all the legendaries.  Could take a pair of garrison commanders for more sustain via 8 armor per round and synergize em with Saraad, for example.  You could use Nefarian, Chromagus, Grand Crusaders, etc for more spells/cards if you don't got ysera or saraad.  You could take Gorehowl with upgrades/orgrimmar aspirants (also good with garrisons) if you don't have the alex/grom combo.  Boom, Sylv, and Geddon aren't even essential.  You could literally get rid of them all for target dummies if you wanted to, and the deck play wouldn't really change all that much.  Throw in another brawl and some bouncing blades or abominations or something.  Really not a big deal.

I actually just destroyed a demon zoolock the very first game I had using this deck. :3

Then run Revenge. Sheesh, people.

It's an auto-taunt in control matchups. It's useless against aggro most of the times.

The problem with Control Warrior is that it's an expensive deck that kinda needs every card in it, and it's kinda hard to sub any of the legendary minions.

Considering that we're talking about Grommash Hellscream, Alexstrasza. But I'll try to help...

-Both Shield Slams are a must for that deck.

-Grommash Hellscream and Alexstrasza are really needed for that deck to work. Some say that they don't use alex and it's going fine for them, but I guess it depends on what you face the most, and a matter of preference for some people, but your first legendary to craft should be Grommash Hellscream, and then Alexstrasza.

-Either 2 Brawls, or one Brawl and Baron Geddon. Any of them is actually fine.

-As for subbing, the only legendary that you can sub in that list would be Ysera, you can sub her for Nefarian (she actually won me tons of games on her own, but it's still a good sub that you should go for). The second sub would be Baron Geddon for a second Brawl as I mentioned.

Just an advice though, you kinda need to complete your Control Warrior list before jumping into ranked with it for the best results.

Justicar, how do you not have her as a Control Warrior?

Hi guys, I am a Hearthstone veteran but total noob to the warrior class, however always wanted to play a control warrior and so I crafted this deck. Lost all of my practice games, which is quite normal when learning a new class, but came up with a few questions which I hope some of you veterans can answer:

- I realized that with such a deck, you can really only play a minion on turn 5/6. How do you survive the first turns when the weapon can only dispose of one minion, but most decks can easily play two per turn? By turn 6 I was usually facing quite a big board with no minion on my side.

- Whenever I had Justicar in my opening hand I would usually keep him to make sure i have him on turn 6 as his ability changed the game significantly. Would you agree or mulligan him away?

- Is one brawl enough? In my practice games this card was the only way to get the board back to even, but I would either draw it too late or really want to have a second one for a second sweep. What is the current view on this?

I have a bad english too, but i will try to help you.

U need to find the most easy way to keep the board as much clean as u can, or almost take the minimun amount of dmg from the enemy every turn. Then revenge or brawl win the game for u

I play with 2 brawl on my deck, works better to me, u can try.

I only keep justicar on my starting hand when im facing a warrior/priest or a handlock (amount of mulligan cards). With others clases or decks u should mulligan hard for weapons.

In case anyone is interested, I think Kitkatz is now playing a version with these changes:

-1 Nexus Champion Saraad, -1 Emperor Thaurissan, -1 Revenge

+1 Bash, +2 Acolyte of Pain

He literally said including Nexus Champion Saraad was a "troll" and the card is not that good.

In the most current list, he actually put +1 revenge back in to deal with Secret Paladins on Ladder and cut -1 Harrison Jones because there will be no more Patron Warriors:

Kitkatz said yesterday in stream that he only included Saraad in his deck because of the chat request - Harrison overall is a better choice. He also mentioned that Emperor Thaurissan is a nice card to have but is not a necessity.

about 10 games in and i haven't lost a game yet on ladder :) i don't have barron so i added a second brawl and most don't play around the second one :)

I was having a lot of great games with this deck and winning a lot, but today it seems that everyone either has the perfect aggro hand while I have the slowest hand possible, or they have answers for every single one of my plays and I have none for theirs.
Great deck though!

Alexstrasza of course. Even though I like Nexus-Champion Saraad and I'm using it, but it isn't really needed that much in this deck and can be replaced by Harrison Jones. 

Thanks, I thought that might be the case but I was just hoping that  maybe Nexus-Champion Saraad had some unseen amazingness, because he just seems like so much fun! :D

It does actually have this unseen amazingness and it is fun. Even if some times it doesn't give you a decent spell, it just has this invisible taunt tag on it that says "kill me now or lose horribly".

But when it works.... well.... :)

-Polymorph: Boar against a mirror that I stole his Ragnaros the Firelord with my Sylvanas Windrunner but he decided to do the same. I don't have to explain what happened next :D

-Lightbomb against a Priest that have seen both of my Brawls. He conceded after I played it heh.
