Hi, my name is ShinyHeal , an italian player in EU server . My favorite class is priest and this is my new build for reach rank 1 very fast in season 18. I reached ,using this deck in my rotation , Legend Rank in season 19 in only 4 days , LEGEND EASY .

Mulligan Guide:
Notice that you generally do not want to keep the combo pieces in hand, only against aggro you want divine spirit for tank-up your taunt. You'd rather get your draw engine going and your absolute early game board control .
Always Keep: Twilight Whelp , Northshire Cleric, Wyrmrest agent .
Keep against aggro decks :
Divine Spirit if you already have in hand Wyrmrest Agent or Twilight Guardian .

I agree with the theory that power word shield is not a keeper as well, since in early game you want to aim on getting a tempo advantage, and the best way of doing this is playing a minion every turn. It is a slower way of using your mana and there is no guarantee that you will have time and a minion on the board to play it on, which will just leave you with a dead card in your hand.
Matchups:
Hunter/Aggro Warlock: EASY You have way too many early drops, too many taunts, and the absolute power of Holy Nova.
"Infernity" Secret Paladin : EASY Your minions have so much value. Sometimes it's better to just not crack any secrets, but to set up a better board first, which will make your diffusion process easier.
Midrange Paladin : Medium , Hard if your opponent runs 2x equality . You'll be able to utilize your buffs, hero power, and taunts to make favorable trades that pull you ahead.
Shaman : Easy Overload isn't bad, it's just poorly implemented. The effects you get from overloading yourself are not worth the mana you pay when you consider the overload cost. On top of that the mechanic itself is just super clunky because of a few reasons.
Control Warrior : Medium You have the time to found the combo pieces and kill him ! Pay attention to minions , cursed brawls !
Patron Warrior : I cannot claim that this deck has an edge over patron warrior. It is the number 1 deck out there after all. it requires a lot of draws for it to combo effectively against you. So there is always a chance of beating a patron warrior. Chilmaw for Chromaggus and lightbomb for holy nova if you lose several times it CAN Be helpful .
Handlock : HARD Keep shadow word death for giants and pray the light to kill him fast .
Druid : Medium Try to take control in early game with any minions you have and it will become really complicated for Druid to get back on the board. In late game the combo shines .
Mech/Tempo Mage : Easy Against the first your minions are better and against the second if you play around secrets is easy .
Freeze Mage : You wanna know the real counter to freeze mage? Hope they don't get the cards they need before they die. You can not set up a defense for a Mage that's intent on doing nothing but casting on your face, you just have to kill them first.

Maybe get some originality not only in your deck, but in your guide...
This deck is really really really bad. It relies on near perfect draws, or else it gets crapped on. There is no contingency plans with this deck. Draw the right way, or lose.
How do you feel about Deathlords? 3/8, buffing with divine spirit to 3/16 would be easy, making it a huge taunt, and then 16/16 with inner fire. Also, Dragonkin Sorcerers? for the "whenever you target this minion with a spell, gain 1/1" writing.
I run two deathlords and one dragonkin sorcerer in a version of dragon priest combo. The extra taunts help slow things down, and gives more options to proc the combo.
Of course, your mileage may vary.
May be this deck is good in EU, i don't know, but not in NA.
Patron warrior, druids, mech mage, shamans, rogues, hand lock, secret pal - low change to win.
Hunters, zoo lock - 60-70%
Frost mage - 70-80%
So a week ago I was rank 20, now I am only 17-18. Yes, there is a progress, but it's very slow.
Your are correct...this deck is beyond horrible (at least on NA).
How do feel about maybe swapping out 1 or 2 inner fire/divine spirits for 2 velens?

First of this is a really fun deck to play and raelly good as well, but that beeing said the rng can also really fuck you over if you dont get the cards you need
this deck looks fun to play, will try it out and update my results here. i saw RDU playing something similar to this deck, only thing I'm unsure about is taking holy nova out because you can't combo it with voljin, but maybe it won't matter because given the pretty small curve you'll almost always have a minion to trade with. will update soon.
Great deck, but I would substitute one Holy Nova for one Lightbomb.
Simply for my personal preferences. One AOE for smaller creatures, and one for larger creatures. (Kind of like Hellfire/Shadowflame imo)
Why does this deck not have Alextraza? She has been invaluable in my build

I have played a lot of dragon priests last seasons and i find that this deck has the one thing missing from dragon priest.. Burst! And it'a so much sweet burst! How many times the opponent just silences ysera and not kill her? Imagine having 2x Divine Spirit + 1x Inner Fire . 48 dmg easy... Seriously though many times the oponnent leaves like a 5 or 6 health minion cause he has 25 health and you just kill him outright. I recommend it to any priest fan out there!

-1x Cabal Shadow Priest
-1x Vol'jin (I don't have him)
+2x Holy Nova and Lightbomb (making it 4x aoes in total for the ultimate clear!)
I am very rarely negative about decks, so I am going to be as polite as possible. If you are thinking about using this deck, just know that with little card draw and so many spells, you will spend many games with a handful of cards you cannot use. If you can make this deck work, awesome. Great for you.
I subbed out 1 dark cultist for Chillmaw bringing the deck to 9 dragons which makes for pretty reliable activators. There aren't really any decks that run 10 or more, 9 is the usual amount.
Yep - and now you have so few minions on the deck - 17 minions, and 7 enchant for them. Its to hard to get good draw.
Standart deck have 4 enhcant, and if some one cut cabbals - they take technician and sorserer.
As for me 6 spells in combo deck - its realy many.. but what to cut.. i dont know..
maybe if so - we need more card draw and emperor?

Nice Combo-Deck, especially since it seems good with dragons. But Cabal... i would rather try Shade of Naxxramas instead of Cabal Shadow Priest and Velen's Chosen instead of the Shrinkmeister. Shade is so good with Dark Cultist and can ramp up pretty quickly with Priest.
2ShinyHeal do you try play without cabals? The problem of dragon priest - is his unstable if you have bad curve. This combo is realy fun, and some times op. But! its do deck more unstable. Cabals - as for me too not stable - many time i have dead hand - Inner Fire and Cabal Shadow Priest + Shadow Word: Death etc. Cabal is realy great - but its hard card. And - Vol'jin - is to frequently - dead card) So we have Combo cards, cabals, Vol'jin, Shield, Word Death.. And Cromagus or Chillmaw :)
I think if you wanna play combo - you must use more stable cards, which will not be dead cards together with combo cards, if you have bad draw.
I dont now - maybe only one cabal, and some other minions like technician, maybe cut one Shield. Boomb is to great, but too unstable.

I try now - cabals - skrink - chromagus + boomb + technician + chilmaw + dragon sorserer.
And what i think - divine spirit vs velens:
we have not many minions that double theirs hp with sivine spirit more than with velens - yzera, chillmaw/chromagus/guardian. but its costs less 1 mana, but no +2 dmg and + 1 spell dmg. so - is spirit is better? yes its really great double guardian or yzera - but how many times we can do this?
And can we do the same combo but with velens? Can it be more stable? Yep.. its not so op with izera or guardian, and costs one more. But! Almost all ours minions have more hp than dmd - and inner fire its really great to that in deck. Guardian take on 5 turn 6 attack! or with shield 8! Is this cool? 6/6 or 8/8 taunt on 5 turn, or with velens 10/10 )
I think velens - more stable.. but its one more mana. and i need to think - is this critical?
And yes! inner to the sorsserer - its 6/6 to! )
