This is the deck I'll be using in the Tavern Brawl this week, it will abuse the double deathrattle to become a better ZooLock deck.
Use Sylvanas Windrunner if you start losing the board or you have nothing else to play.
Try to use Life Tap as many times as you can.
Play Loot Hoarder as soon as you can, so you won't run out of steam.
Use Power Overwhelming, Defender of Argus and Dire Wolf Alpha not just to activate the Nerubian Egg but also to push for lethal.
The idea for Undertaker is that you play it and next turn you play 2~3 cards with deathrattle, so you can trade the undertaker with bigger minions, getting the most value out of a 1-drop.
One fun play on turn 7 is to play Sylvanas Windrunner and kill her with Power Overwhelming so you can steal your opponent's bigger minions. like a cheaper and better Mind Control
Use Silence to crush your opponent's dreams.
Check out bellow Caffry's video showing this deck in action! Also, check some other videos on his Youtube channel too!
Have fun! Happy Tavern Brawl!
Just wanted to add that, if you're like me and don't have Sylvanas or Dr. Boom, you can substitute Stalagg and Feugen (if you have completed their respective Naxxrammas wing). Their effect is different and requires a little more planning on your part but still works great if you don't have the aforementioned legendaries.
75% win ratio, this deck is really awesome! Just a little difficult vs paladin
Thanks for the vid mate! He's on the description of the deck so everyone from Hearthpwn can see it now!
Excellent deck. I had a Warlock dominance and a Tavern Brawl quest, and this got 5 easy wins. Thanks.
Dreadsteed is op in this mode.
Not in this deck, feel free to try the Dreadlock deck made by ahbestos11 if you want to play Dreadsteed:
Are you sure?^^ After 2 turns you wont be able to play any minions :D
A board full of 1/1....nah that's real bad.
It is not a problem. 7 free damage per turn, add there 2x power overwhelming. It is 29 damage in 3 turns.
Also with such a permanent board you can have lot of spells in your warlock, board wipe, etc. Sign me up.
I have the best replacements I believe! Try this: Replace x1 Undertaker and x1 Piloted Sky Golem for x1 Sea Giant and x1 Shadowflame.
Undefeated with this combo, you can play Sea Giant at T3 - T4.
I use Sea Giant in my regular DeathLock deck, but I've taken it out in this Tavern Brawl to have more fun.
Had my own take on this deck (with your idea, but slightly different minion choices) .... its working like a charm!!!!
so many rage quits its giggles
as for sylvanas, there is rarely a point to shadowflame it (especially in the Tavern Brawl) i actually cast power overwhelming on it (if the minions on his board are worth it) and by the end of that exact turn, they are mine .... all mine (i stole one guy's Mal'Ganis and he lost his shit and lifetaped cards till his death)
Loved it! This deck indeed has multiple versions to be played. You know, I actually have a competitive Deathlock too, but I really don't like pubblishing my decks here, because IF it get's famous, someone will learn how to counter it, and the deck will die. This deck I made I was thinking about the possibilities of what could happen in this tavern brawl, and I was expecting lot's of Deathrattle hunters, that's why I used Defender of Argus. Your version is more aggressive and combo-ish, and it's better in some aspects, but I still can't like Feugen and Stalagg, because I never draw both of them, and I think they're too slow.
Thanks for the recognition though, always appreciated! Have fun in the Tavern Brawl mate!
i guess i've been very lucky then .... (i do however sacrifice poor Loot Horders all the time though)
one thing that has been working very well for me is using stealth (acquired from the trusty Clockwork Gnome) on either Feugen or Stalagg anywhere after turn 7, and the exact next round throw in his "significant other" with Void Terror in the middle..... *sits down and watches his opponent looking at his cards and hovering over every single Thaddius moments before Conceding*
Considering making this deck for casual or (with the right adjustments) Ranked .... [card]Baron Rivendare[/card] has to take part in there, probably changing Jaraxxus with Kel'Thuzad
Yes, I indeed use Baron for that deck, and Kel'Thuzad + Sludge combo is basically an auto-win. My favorite thing to do is to sacrifice the Shredders when I have Baron on the board...
nice, mine got busted is Taurissan and Sludge Belcher with a void terrored Sylvanas. It was memorable.
Emperor is a nice touch, but I find it won't be consistent in a deck like this (since most minions don't cost that much mana)
Like I said before:
No, they would take all the space on the board, and that's unacceptable in this deck. I considered it, but it's really not an option.
