This one is my best mech mage deck so far !!!! WITH THIS DECK I CLIMB UP TO rank 4 IN EU! :D
I`ve try so many version of this deck because I consider this deck very useful in curent "meta"!

Reasons I include some of the cards(only the strange ones):
As we know mech decks runs out energy very quicly,one good board clear,one good combo, smash the entire table! So..even the new decks forgot Mr.T(white version) I personally believe that those spare parts combined with archmage can win you a game just by simply cast 2 or 3 fireballs. It can be replaceable with Ragnoros or 2 fel reavers if u dont have it!
So many weapons in those days...so many paladins with swords,knifes,secrets(dr.6)etc...and poor Spider Tank just cant handle so much..so this 3 drop can save your ass from board clears and still have something on table to activate your mechs like Goblin Blastmage etc... However, if u not find so many weapons in your ladder it can be change for an seconds Spider Tank!

Decent card,decent stats,decent buff! Overall:Decent! Kappa
Super good againts mages and ramp druids! You just need to be very careful when u play it!
Playing an good Loatheb makes the difference between lose and win!
Argent Commander(new card):
As u may know, Leeroy Jenkins is now an option..but I just dont like this card! With Argent Commander you can bring some taunts down, trade efficient and still have an 4-2 on table! Argent Value boys! But if u feel this old card unless just cut it...!
Mulligan Guide:
Simply try to find the best cards! 1-2 drop and some good synergy! Always keep: Cogmaster, Mechwarper,Annoy-o-Tron,Clockwork Gnome!
With coin: Keep Piloted Shredder with an solid 2 drop,Spider Tank,Harvest Golem, Tinkertown Technician are optional..depends againts what class u playing!

If you are an good player, and you can play around swipes,consecration, flamestrike and u know how to counter most of the new decks COUGH (SECRET PALADIN) u can push this deck to legend! I mannage to be around 500 legend 2 seasons ago but the deck was different, now I experimented some things! Also dont flamerino my deck, its the first deck I post and didn.t even expect to get more then 10 upvotes! :D

Honestly, Mim's head is just too slow. There's a high chance it'll get removed before you even get a turn with it.

I swapped azure drake for coldlight oracle for a lower cost 2 draw and swapped argent commander for an acolyte is that ok?
Not my deck (of course), but as an idea Cult Master could come in. Maybe instead of Mechanical Yeti. Only problem there would be it forces you to trade, and I'm not sure this deck always wants that.

I have been playing this card for a while now and I'm liking it. I'm surprised how well mech mage still does on the meta or probably the meta has shifted and made mech mage playable again, at least in the mid ranks (15-10). I have a few comments.
This is clearly an aggro deck, most of my matches I have either won or know I'm gonna lose on turns 6 or 7, sometimes sooner.
I haven't used Archmage Antonides once (and I've played more than 15 games with this deck. (I'm 12-4 right now). Most of the time you can deal fatal damage before Archmage's turn. He stills belongs here as there is a chance you could extend this game to the 8th or 9th turn against some mid range decks and maybe archmage can save you.
I agree with most post that in Argent Commander. I think Leeroy or the polymorph boar are better options.

I'm trying your deck with some changes (currently on test):
- Argent Commander - Clockwork Knight - Azure Drake
+ Polymorph: Boar + Flamestrike + Arcane Intellect
I like your version without Fel Reaver, but trying it i feel that i needed one CC and at least one AoE, this is a slow Mech Mage imho. Ah, also Arcane Intellect for draw seems works nice for me!

Can someone please explain why this deck is classified as 'Aggro' when it's clearly a Zoo style deck?

Facehunter etc. is a super aggro deck.
Play mech mage as aggro pally, zoo, aggro druid and all the other aggro decks out there. Fast board and push for dmg.
Zoo is a term from mtg that means its minion based.
Mech mage is not aggro, what are you talking about. Aggro is using low-cost minion to flood the board in the early game and deal as much damage as possible to your opponent. Face Hunter is aggro, Secret Paladin is aggro, Face Rogue is aggro etc.
Mech Mage is a tempo-midrange deck where you focus on controlling your opponents board whilst simultaneously snowballing with discounted mechs.
Tempo i can buy but saying its not aggro is so wrong
With so many things that can one shot 'Spider Tank, 'Death's Bite, 'Frostbolt with ping, 'Swipe, Flamecannon etc etc, don't you find 'Harvest a better card for two instead of just one? Is 'Toshley ok replacement for "Commander?
