My take on the fusion of mechs, spells, and minions that trigger off of spells, in one deck. It may lose too much tempo as a result of lacking a mad scientist / secrets package, but I want to try a few variations without mad scientist first, given that there's not really room for them. No taunts or anything so obviously you're trying to control the board while simultaneously racing your opponent. I've included an Ice Block and Blizzard to give a bit of reach when you're trying to find lethal on low health. Should be fun, will probably try many different versions of this before feeling really comfortable, but I'm fairly certain that the versatility of Polymorph: Boar in a deck like this is pretty amazing.
Edit: Toshley is one card I'm unsure about. Though it has always felt like it has potential, Loatheb or Boom are probably ultimately the better call, as they're just going to be way more consistent.
Edit 2: This deck is actually performing better than I expected! It's also definitely the best fit for Eydis out of everything I've tried so far. It'll be interesting to see how the spell/mech archetype develops over the next few weeks.
I like where you're going with this deck as I've been looking for a way to get some value out of my Dark/Lightbane sisters. Will run this for awhile and let you know how it works out.
Cool deck list, was interested in something using the the spare parts and Eydis and I think this is a pretty good contender...not sure about Blingtron though? I was also thinking Toshley
Thanks man! Yeah so the reasoning with Blingtron is first that this deck is often racing for lethal, and a little added burst can really help. Two other things, if you have a Snowchugger on board you can freeze your opponent preventing them from attacking, and often times these days you're up against opponents with weapons anyway, so you replace their ideal weapon (like a warrior with a Death's Bite before a Patron turn) with hopefully a mediocre-to-bad one. Not sure if it's best, certainly it adds some serious RNG to the mix, but just giving it a shot, so far it's done pretty well. Toshley... good stats, 2 parts is big, yeah I would love to fit him in, but the deck is probably too fast, I should give it a try though for sure.
