Hey guys ! So as u know today is the last day of the season and I decided to reach Legend. I was thinking which deck could do it faster and without many problems and then this deck popped ;P
Yeah its not anything special with just 2 TGT cards , but it works so why not try it yourself :)
From rank 2 to Legend it took me like 2-3 hours . I faced a lot of secret pallys and freeze mages so Flare was simply AMAZING !
Here is the proof :

Ok lets make mulligan guide (im doing this for 1st time , hope it will be useful to you ) :
1st lemme start with the basics , cards u always want to keep in hand no matter what :
(Webspinner, Knife Juggler, Hauted Creeper, Mad Scientist, Animal Companion with coin +2drop)
Against Mage :
Mech/Tempo - Hard mulligan for basic cards listed above , and imo Bear Trap is worth keeping , also Unleash The Hounds if are with the coin , Eaglehorn Bow if u have 2 drop or coin , but Annoy-o-Tron can fck you up so keep that in mind
Freeze - Here u can look up for Owl and Shredder if u are with coin and 2 drop. U need early minons or Bow who can kill Acolyte without giving him too much value . Try to Owl his doomsayer , Flare IB and tbh u are in favor in this matchup so it should be easy win
Against Warrior :
Patron/Control - Ok u need to be rly aggressive here , always kill/silence Armorsmith and keep Eaglehorn Bow for Acolyte. I think in both matchups u need to hit face hard and hope he cant stabilize . U can keep Animal Companion here .
Against Druid :
You can Keep Shredder with Coin, Hunter's Mark bcz of crazy innervates early , otherwise hard mulligan for basics
Shaman :
I will talk about Midrange Shammy only , bcz i havent seen mech long time ago - Here its all about the early game dominance , so if u have Webspinner u can actually keep Hunter's Mark for his Totem Golem and get early board then just keep clearing till u get Savannah or other big creature to crush him . Also keeping Freezing trap is not bad , for the same reason as Hunter's Mark , but ill talk about Trap in a special section below .
Priest :
Dragon priest - I love priest , but i hate this deck , its so OP and easy to play , I prefer harder priest decks , but anyway try to get Knife Juggler so u can deal with Cleric. So the thing here is to know when u can go face , most of the times its better to trade bcz he can easily clear everything.
Other priests - I dont see them often , but it should be easier , because they cant compete on the board that much , just care for Wild Pyromancer crazy combos.
Against Pally :
Secredin - Harder matchup , u can keep Flare if u have good curve , but hard mulligan for basics + Unleash The Hounds
Midrange - Easy win , above 80% win ratio
Against Hunter :
SmorcHuntard - hard mulligan for basics and always kill Juggler. This matchup is like 50/50 if he gets insane draws u cant do a shit ;( He will just smorc , smorc. Try to race him when u get the Savannah on board . Or if u see them often u can change Ram Wrangler for Belcher , or King of Beasts.
Ok now about Traps :
This is something i cant explain u need to play a lot to understand when its good to keep them in hand . My advice is if u keep them do it against Shammy and Priest.
If u have any other questions feel free to ask in the comments below :)
U can also check a deck im working on :

You have 3 secrets and 2 mad scientists... this seems a bit unbalanced, like you may draw a mad sci. when you are out of secrets one to many times and it will just be a 2/2.
Ever consider something replacing one of those?
Also, the ratio of Eagle Horn to secret is 2/3? That seems unbalanced as well. I mean I don't know for sure, it just seems like those ratios can be tweaked.
Are you serious?
Is that why Dr. Boom is Dr. balanced? because it's not 6/7 but 7/7 with 2 Bots not just one? That's ur logic....
Would try this deck out if for one day, I'm just facing countless secret paladins and freeze mages. However, I was wondering why you only run 1 Flare, and not 2, especially if the secret paladin has 2 Mysterious Challenger's. Would adding 1 Flare and taking out the Webspinner be effective, or replacing another card, would love to see your reasoning, overall nice deck.
Bcz flare is only good in these matchups and i think 1 is more than enough if used correctly . U know that paladin often play his secret before Mysterious Challenger so when he play it the rest of his secrets will pop up so 1 Flare clear them . Thats my reasoning of running only 1
Usually only one [card]Mysterious Challenger[/card] grabs secrets. The only other deck it works well against is the mirror match when you consider that there isn't much tempo mage currently. The main problem with running two is that it's just a very weak draw spell against any other deck.
By comparison, and for nearly the same reasons, other decks would almost never play two Kezan Mystics.
How large of an impact does Ram Wrangler have? I don't have it and I don't really want to waste 80 dust considering it's a rare and it will drop sooner rather than later and I'm saving to get to 1600 dust for a legendary or some epics.
His impact is purely RNG. sometimes he can win you the game, or provide a really weak turn 5. IMO, as the meta settles, i can see him being removed for another 5 drop such as Loatheb.
Edit: For this deck, possibly another Houndmaster? I wouldn't bother crafting him as it seems pretty easy to get him from a pack.
Ram Wrangler won me a few games and tbh i just really like this card and thats why i put him in the deck :) Feel free to just play Loatheb
Replaced Dr. Boom with Loatheb, and against many people's views, I left the Ram Wrangler in this deck because I think it's quite a good card, and it seems to be working well for me.
I havent started to play this season yet , but with this decklist i had pretty good win ratio vs paladins and imo Freezing Trap is better in other matchups . U may try +1Explosive Trap -1Freezing Trap. About double flare idk , u cut another webspinner?
While I haven't tested it from personal experience I would guess that double Flares would likely be pretty bad unless you are facing nothing but mage and paladins. Back when Flare was 1 mana there wasn't really a reason not to run 2 of them since at worst (meaning against a deck that had no secrets) you would just flare on turn 1 when you didn't have a 1 drop or when you had a spare mana crystal (which is fairly common around turns 4-6 for hunters). Ever since Flare was nerfed to 2 mana the worst case scenario is pretty bad. Say you get flare in your opening hand against a deck that doesn't have secrets, Midrange hunter is designed to always be playing right on the mana curve on turns 2 and 3 and frequently on turns 4 (or they use a 3 drop on 4). turn 5 is often either a 5 mana drop, a 2 mana and 3 mana drop, or two 2 mana drops with a 1 mana drop if possible. Then on turn 6 ideally you drop highmane followed by Dr. Boom on 7. Now while it is rare that you manage to curve perfectly all the way till turn 7, the key turns to curve perfectly are turns 2 through 4... Normally a hunter is able to do that very well the exception is when your hand gets clogged with cards that are dead in the early game such as Hunter's Mark, Bear Trap, Freezing Trap, Kill Command, Unleash the Hounds,Houndmaster, Ram Wrangler, Savannah Highmane, Stranglethorn Tiger, Dr. Boom & depending on who you talk to Quick Shot (personally I still consider it a bad card for midrange hunter in most cases). That list is already fairly large compared to the previous midrange hunter that didn't have Ram Wrangler, Hunter's Mark. The question is do you really want to add 2 Flares and raise the likelihood of having a bad start all the more which, unless you have enough experience with midrange hunter to know how to navigate a slow start (coming from someone with well over 1k midrange hunter wins, it is extremely difficult thing to do), likely a slow start will mean a loss.
So to answer your question I think it is very doubtful that 2 Flares would work well because the new type of midrange hunter already is far more prone to bad starts than the previous version of midrange hunter
Nice decklist. Noone expected that Hunter will counter the new cancer.
Could a Kel'Thuzad replace Dr. Boom until i manage to craft it? Or any other suggestions?
Well Dr.Boom is unique card (boom bots OP) , but i guess u can try Ghazrilla , Rag , another tiger probably
Oh and btw guys im working on another deck if u are interested check it out :
http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/320997-healing-shadows-hybrid-combo-priest-new-meta-pew
I think Stranglethorn Tiger is very important bcz of stealth . It gives you like free 5 damage , efficient trade or trigger for beast synergy cards.
Better replace Ram Wrangler for Loatheb .
My changes
-Dr. Boom (I dont have it :D) -[card]Stranglethorn Tiger[/card] +Loatheb +Ram Wrangler
Since this isn't a heavily beast based deck I would rather go Loatheb over Stranglethorn Tiger.
