Hey guys ! So as u know today is the last day of the season and I decided to reach Legend. I was thinking which deck could do it faster and without many problems and then this deck popped ;P
Yeah its not anything special with just 2 TGT cards , but it works so why not try it yourself :)
From rank 2 to Legend it took me like 2-3 hours . I faced a lot of secret pallys and freeze mages so Flare was simply AMAZING !

Ok lets make mulligan guide (im doing this for 1st time , hope it will be useful to you ) :
1st lemme start with the basics , cards u always want to keep in hand no matter what :
(Webspinner, Knife Juggler, Hauted Creeper, Mad Scientist, Animal Companion with coin +2drop)
Against Mage :
Mech/Tempo - Hard mulligan for basic cards listed above , and imo Bear Trap is worth keeping , also Unleash The Hounds if are with the coin , Eaglehorn Bow if u have 2 drop or coin , but Annoy-o-Tron can fck you up so keep that in mind
Freeze - Here u can look up for Owl and Shredder if u are with coin and 2 drop. U need early minons or Bow who can kill Acolyte without giving him too much value . Try to Owl his doomsayer , Flare IB and tbh u are in favor in this matchup so it should be easy win
Against Warrior :
Patron/Control - Ok u need to be rly aggressive here , always kill/silence Armorsmith and keep Eaglehorn Bow for Acolyte. I think in both matchups u need to hit face hard and hope he cant stabilize . U can keep Animal Companion here .
Against Druid :
You can Keep Shredder with Coin, Hunter's Mark bcz of crazy innervates early , otherwise hard mulligan for basics
Shaman :
I will talk about Midrange Shammy only , bcz i havent seen mech long time ago - Here its all about the early game dominance , so if u have Webspinner u can actually keep Hunter's Mark for his Totem Golem and get early board then just keep clearing till u get Savannah or other big creature to crush him . Also keeping Freezing trap is not bad , for the same reason as Hunter's Mark , but ill talk about Trap in a special section below .
Priest :
Dragon priest - I love priest , but i hate this deck , its so OP and easy to play , I prefer harder priest decks , but anyway try to get Knife Juggler so u can deal with Cleric. So the thing here is to know when u can go face , most of the times its better to trade bcz he can easily clear everything.
Other priests - I dont see them often , but it should be easier , because they cant compete on the board that much , just care for Wild Pyromancer crazy combos.
Against Pally :
Secredin - Harder matchup , u can keep Flare if u have good curve , but hard mulligan for basics + Unleash The Hounds
Midrange - Easy win , above 80% win ratio
Against Hunter :
SmorcHuntard - hard mulligan for basics and always kill Juggler. This matchup is like 50/50 if he gets insane draws u cant do a shit ;( He will just smorc , smorc. Try to race him when u get the Savannah on board . Or if u see them often u can change Ram Wrangler for Belcher , or King of Beasts.
Ok now about Traps :
This is something i cant explain u need to play a lot to understand when its good to keep them in hand . My advice is if u keep them do it against Shammy and Priest.

Druids and control warriors are kicking my @ss. Everything else is cake.
This is bullshit, everything is face hunter. You cannot play the class unless you are smorcing that's the point of hunter. It's a play style designed for good players who are scumbags or bad players trying to learn the game. Nothing more, nothing less.
Can I replace The Tiger with Leeroy?
the tiger is used for save a target for houndmaster or trigger the ram. For me the tiger has more value in the deck
I think Acidmaw is too slow for this deck , maybe u need to try some controlish hunter :D. I dont have this card , so ill let the experimenting on you :D

This deck has been working really well for me I have gone 7 - 1. The changes I have made are -1 Bear Trap -1Quick Shot and -1Ram Wrangler for +1 Sludge Belcher +1 Snake Trap and +1 Loatheb
This is a great and strong deck in the current meta. Keep up the good work!!!!!
I'm doing quite well with this deck atm around rank 4, subbed a Ram Wrangler with a second Stranglethorn Tiger because I always seem to roll into Angry Chicken or Hungry Crab. Overall I find it to be much more reliable/sticky, and makes for massive damage the next turn combo'd with Houndmaster/Kill Command. Thanks for the deck, loving it so far

I don't have BRM so what do you guys suggest I put in place of Quick Shot?
you could try a second houndmaster or explosive trap

When I constructed the deck, I think I misread and ended up leaving out the tiger and by accident had 2 webspinner instead of the usual 1.. over a 70 games sample im 39-29 for 57% win rate without the tiger, which i was wondering why sometimes I was lacking the late game, lol . Did end up taking out ram for a loatheb because as a meh 5 drop the rng wasn't cutting it for me ( i've had so many chickens and parrots given to me by the spinners and him recently its not even funny, well it kinda is). Either way the deck build is solid, and i've worked thru the ranks from 15-9 in those 70 games so we shall see how the rest of the time goes.
So, this deck just doesn't work anymore... Everyone is running taunt like crazy, these silver-hand/secret paladins it doesn't work against. I have lost 8 in a row with this deck playing it as perfect as possible (mad science into freezing trap, knife juggler/hounds combo).
I don't wanna say it doesn't work, but I had the same experience as you. I lost 7 games in a row then retired it.
I play a similar deck, except I switched in explosive trap for bear trap to counter aggro, and I removed one haunted creeper for another flare to add card draw and help against secret paladin.
i know dr balanced probably should be in the deck, but his the only bgh target... :(
also i would like to add, mid range hunter is amazing! i never hit legend, because i think im not that good lol, but i reached rank 2 many many times with this kind of deck, for me the main key is to learn how to play your times...
vs some deck you need to play all in and play faster as you can, with some other matches you must play very slow, doing hero power most of the turns.
i run a few variation from this deck listed:
-1 Quick Shot -1 Bear Trap
+1 Snake Trap +1 Houndmaster
These are good changes ! And i agree with your statement about the deck :)
