Hi, I am g1boNN, an 8-time legend player from Germany.

Since TGT got released and control warrior is one of my main decks, I wanted to share my current TGT Dragon Control Warrior list that I use to climb legend ranks.

Overall, I think this deck is faster than the regular Control Warrior lists pre TGT. You have legit minions to drop on turn 3 that help you fight for board control in the early game, in combination with your standard Win Axe and Death’s Bite, but you still have a super good late game punch with dragons like Ysera/Nefarian/Alexstrasza.

Card choices:

Blackwing Technician:

This is a great turn 3 drop for a Dragon deck. Its main purpose is to trade well against aggro decks and fight for early board control. A 3/5 is really tough to remove for most decks on turn 3.

Twilight Guardian:

It’s a great taunt card that comes into play one turn before your regular Belchers and really helps to stop aggro in its tracks.

Blackwing Corruptor:

I think the Blackwing Corruptors are a better turn 5 drop than the usual Belcher because they help you to remove an opposing minion immediately and thereby help you more against aggro than a Belcher that just gets silenced in most cases.

Azure Drake:

I use them for more card draws and Dragon synergy. It might also come in handy to use the Whirlwind for 2 damage while fighting a Shaman to clear their mass totems, since I guess a lot of people will try out the new Shaman.

Nefarian/Ysera/Alexztrasza:

These are the late game dragons that also guarantee the activation of Dragon synergy effects on cards like Blackwing Technician, Blackwing Corrupter and Twilight Guardian in the early and mid-game.

No Grommash?

I currently use Ragnaros because I removed the Taskmasters from the deck. If you like Grom, you can play him instead of Ragnaros. But keep in mind that this deck has only 3 Grom activators.

Chillmaw:

After testing for quite some time i think that chillmaw is realy good vs the flood the board meta we have at the moment.

Edit:

Due to the increased amount of aggro and tempo oriented decks I would recommend to swap rag for an alexstraszas champion to gain more early game
