A quick video of Dragon Priest in full stride
It's OP use it. twitch.tv/reynad27
Just for clarification Chillmaw is for Patron Warrior, Voljin is mainly used for high health late game drops such as Ysera and then smiting the minion. Rend is used for the manyyyy legendaries that have sprouted because of TGT
-*LOOK HERE IMPORTANT STUFF* EDIT----- Reynad has added in 2 shrinkmiesters, 2 cabal shadow priests, a second shadow word death, 2 shadow madness and has taken out 2 smite, 2 velen's chosen, ysera, rend and vol'jin. He wanted the deck to have a better curve and early game so the deck doesn't lose all control because of enemy early drops
*LOOK MORE IMPORTANT STUFF* EDIT--- I know the changes made the deck worse but reynad was just trying stuff out. You can revert to the old deck because it had a higher win percentage just wanted to put his edits in the deck so its up to date ~ Loki (PS i personally think the original deck is better)
Fire elemental kappa
you may as well not play since those cards are so crucial (twilights and cabals escpecially
you could try senjin shieldmasta its just not a dragon, and for cabal idk
well twilight guardians can be replaced with senjin shieldmastas
i dont find cabal and shadow madness much useful. In many games, i dont use them at all or they have no major impact for the game
cabals are core cards because this is a tempo deck and u win by board control this is not the typical control priest and cabals are very useful to gain some tempo by stealing 2 attack minions and 4 attacks minions in combination with shrinkmeister. very useful also against the mirror match to steal the opponents ysera. shadow madness is also useful to steal and trade the opponents minion and kill 2 minions at the same time and gain more tempo, u could run velens chosen instead too to buff ur minions and its fine too.
dude, you need 8 mana to steal a 4 attack creature. And by stealing a 2 attack creature in 6/10 game, its mostly too late for a comeback. Not to mention, in 6/10, there are big creatures and stealing 2attack wont do any good
@unlu Cabal Shadow Priest is the most OP card in priest. For 6 Mana you get 4/5 + the minion you steal, e. g. deathlord it is 6/13 for 6 mana. And you don't only get this value, you also steal the value from your opponent so you can double the amount from the minion you stole. It can be even worth to take a 1/1 minion. I have 2 of them in my deck and they win me every second game.
It does not matter if it takes 30 minutes and your hero is at 1 health as long as you win the game. And you will be often in situation where you have to take over the board. That's why you have the AoE cards in it.
Can I replace Chillmaw with Vol'Jin? I mean, he was in the deck not long ago.
I need some substitution recommendations for Ysera, Chilllmaw, and Vol'jin. :(
Some stuff I have: Nax & BRM legendaries, Alexstrasza, Boom, Eydis, a penchant and reputation for kicking ass, and a rapidly depleting pack of gum.
Nefarian, Dr. Boom and Chromaggus.
Any replacements for Chillmaw ? Can you guys recommend something?
Any other big dragons will probably work.
Ysera, Chromaggus, Alexstrasza, etc. all have pseudo taunt because of their size, but won't wipe a board like Chillmaw.
Go with Nozdormu
Yeah, now Blizzard give us the choice which Dream Card we want and be added to our hand, much good.
what can i switch for a twilight guardian? i've got only 1 :<
Sludge maybe?
Sen'jin Shieldmasta is 3/5 for 4 mana. Sludge Belcher is 3/5 + 1/2 (upon deathrattle) for 5 mana. So for pure taunt, either of those.
However, Twilight Guardian's extra value comes from it being a dragon, which procs several other cards. Some may consider that proc necessary for a dragon deck, so you might want to play around w/ both a taunt such as one of the above...or substituting another dragon instead.
I've used Hungry Dragon on occasion for other types of substitutions...perhaps he may help you.
This Deck REKT every secret Pally out there. Thumbs up!
I'm curious, why does this deck do better as a priest deck then another class? Is Twilight Whelp really that good for opening? It's strange to not see Chow and Soul Priestess.
