A quick video of Dragon Priest in full stride
It's OP use it. twitch.tv/reynad27
Just for clarification Chillmaw is for Patron Warrior, Voljin is mainly used for high health late game drops such as Ysera and then smiting the minion. Rend is used for the manyyyy legendaries that have sprouted because of TGT
-*LOOK HERE IMPORTANT STUFF* EDIT----- Reynad has added in 2 shrinkmiesters, 2 cabal shadow priests, a second shadow word death, 2 shadow madness and has taken out 2 smite, 2 velen's chosen, ysera, rend and vol'jin. He wanted the deck to have a better curve and early game so the deck doesn't lose all control because of enemy early drops
*LOOK MORE IMPORTANT STUFF* EDIT--- I know the changes made the deck worse but reynad was just trying stuff out. You can revert to the old deck because it had a higher win percentage just wanted to put his edits in the deck so its up to date ~ Loki (PS i personally think the original deck is better)
I'm seeing Mill quite a bit in the 15-20 range.
Same here. Got caught off guard the other day by it. Laughed because I was being spectated by a friend and I had him down to 5 health going for lethal next turn and thats when shit hit the fan lol.
Fatigued the living hell out of me…damn cold light oracle.
I see a few in legend. Thy are back :D The funniest rogue deck out there!
Eldis darkbane for one of the technicians is really nice
Guys! If you want budget options I am currently playing this deck around rank 6 with no Ysera, Chillmaw,Vol'jin, or either Twilight Guardian!
Simply run: 2xAuchenai Soulpriest/2xCircle of Healing and then use Nefarian and Chromaggus as your late game dragons.
Hope this helps any F2P players!
If you're reading this, do *NOT* spend your dust to make this simply because it has "Reynad's" name. If you bought 50 packs and you have these cards, great...but under no circumstances should you spend your dust on this.
Go play Shaman, Druid, or Warrior like everyone else.
I was lucky to have all the cards for this deck, minus the Twilight Guardian cards. I crafted them because I am using these cards in Mage and Warrior decks. So I will get a lot of use for them. But thanks for your advise...others might want to hold off, but I'm loving the Dragon Priest decks atm.
Yes because everyone loves playing mirror matches and seeing the same decks over and over again.
Yes, why try new decks, actually why buy TGT packs at all ... Face Hunter till the end
I can never play out of poor mulligans.
When it works...it works well and great combos.
However, I've gone from Rank 10 (1 star from 9) all the way back to 12, losing to every imaginable ending.
Just mulligan...no coin...4 of my 5 cards are 4 mana...gg
Shadowfiend fits well in this deck.
Wow this deck is so much fun. Thanks for posting! +1
The biggest Achilles Heel to this deck, and it's huge... is the mulligan. You get a hand full of 4-5 drops and it's GG Well Played before you even start. Also, not starting with a dragon in your hand puts you in a bad spot as well.
I have to agree but i guess it should average out? I have only played 3 games but no Twilight Whelp and no Wyrmrest Agent in any game. I mean these are not game wining cards alone but if your first play is an unbuffed Blackwing Technician on turn 3 you are fooked.
Salty but ppl are raving so got to keep going. Thank you for the deck.
I feel this happens for most of the Priest decks I play tho. When you have a bad start, it's so tough to recover, but if you have a great starting hand...it's golden.
got 6-1 run with my priest dragon deck into top 100 legend, It's not PW, but saing you can win only on low ranks is just wrong.
sure, but I doubt you also played hundreds games against it but you already come to conclusion that you can win alot with it only on low rank. I'm just saying that for now it's not only looks like the strongest priest deck (which is not that huge if you look pre TGT) but when you use it you feel like you are playing with a real deck, and not some gimmicky inconsistant crap.
I got from rank 9 to 3 quite fast with this deck.
Maybe the problem is that you are not a good priest player?... Just saying
Voljin can be very efficient for minion removals, but is Priest-only.
Ysera is mana-expensive and "slow", but fits in many late-game decks & can generate a terrific set of cards if the opponent doesn't remove her immediately (and by the time she appears there will probably be fewer cards to remove her with).
Chillmaw, in contrast to the other two, is so far very situational, fits only in very particular mana- and dust-expensive dragon decks, and as far as being anti-Grim Patron, all it takes for a Warrior is a humble Owl to neutralise it.
So I would advise Ysera, unless Priest is your favourite & top everyday choice, or unless you have a top priority of making a dragon deck like this one we are commenting in.
