Total Deck Rating
17
With the new expansion, there has been a huge influx of Shaman players. As any good deck builder should, I have chosen a deck to counter this sudden meta.
Since the release of TGT, I am 16-3 against Shaman with this deck. Not only that, it is insanely good against many of the other decks in the meta.
Full deck write up coming soon, for now I will be trying to climb ladder as quickly as possible while the meta is like this.
Started at Rank 16, pushed all the way to Rank 5 with the huge amount of win streaks.
UPDATE: As of 1:00 AM the night of release, I am taking a break at Rank 2 and 1 star. This deck has far exceeded my expectations, and will continue to update it tomorrow!
Card explanations
Early Game
Shielded Minibot - An absolutely fantastic 2 drop that trades and then some against aggressive decks.
Muster for Battle - Combos with Quartermaster, overwhelms the board, refill the board after using Equality Combo
Midgame
We can easily control the board while we wait for our huge drops and tempo swings.
Aldor Peacekeeper is an amazing card that ruins any plans our opponent may have to have a fun game.
Acidic Swamp Ooze is a great way to stop Warriors from triggering their weapon deathrattles or GET IN HERE combos.
Sludge Belcher is the best taunt in the game and has time and time again shown he deserves a spot in this deck.
Justicar Trueheart - Try to drop her early in the mid game so we can get the best possible value from the new hero power.
If things go wrong...
We have everything we need to comeback from a game that is going badly
Tuskarr Jouster and Lay on Hands keep our health pools topped off while our enemy struggles to keep anything on the board.
Enter the Coliseum - Our version of Brawl, however it is a little more finicky. Make sure to use it when we can kill the minion that is left over. This being said, I absolutely love this card.
Our midgame cards such as Justicar Trueheart and Nexus-Champion Saraad are also very helpful to snowball us in the lategame.
Late Game
All I need to say is that we have an amazing late game. As long as we control the mid game and maintain our tempo, we are almost always guaranteed a win against most classes in the current meta.
Matchup explanations coming soon!

Matchup Explanations:
Good Matchups: Shaman, Druid, Priest, Warlock, and Hunter are all solid matchups. Try to mulligan for our early drops. We can keep a midgame drop if we have the coin. The great thing about this deck is that the mulligans are fairly straightforward.
Tough Matchups: While this deck can keep out-attrition control warriors, it can be a bit of a toss up with GET IN HERE Warriors. If we end up drawing none of our threats, they can trigger their wombo combo despite our health being at 30.
I don't see either Justicar Trueheart or Nexus-Champion Saraad in the actual deck :/
Were they in an earlier version? Would like to keep Justicar in if she was working in an earlier build.
Eadric is amazing. Running 1x Humility, 2x Aldor, Eadric, Enter the Colisseum, quite some heals + equality and weapons. Its quite an fatigue Paladin. Its amazing lol - this deck though is quite more midrange then control imo.
I am keeping him in my slightly modified deck (+2xZombie Chow -2 Tusker Jouster - 2 Wild Pyromencer + Justicar Truehart + Quartermaster) the deck is super fun it has got much control over aggro decks. I didn't get to use Edric but have used him in a Dragon Paladin deck and when there are even 2-3 minions on board you drop him and you would get full value out of him, I once used him against a Handlock 2 molten one mountain giant and won that match. Moreover wild Pyromencer are not god for out own Tokens.
I've been messing around with his deck and I also noticed that t4 was too weak, not enough minions to help establish board presence, which is vital to counter those inspire/murloc pallys. I just felt i didn't have enough card draw early on to help establish board control, instead of healing and hoping I somehow to turn it around (or i could be too accustomed to handlock). I feel like adding acolyte of pain or a hammer of wrath to help out with some card draw, possibly even adding azure drake and adding technician for some synergy. Not sure just some thoughts
Love your explanations, and they are some things that I have been considering myself.
I strongly believe this deck is becoming stronger with everyone contributing, and you have many great points. I have been trying out Shredder in this deck, replacing Ooze (as I have found is less needed with the amount of control we have, as well as high health minions), as well as Eadric. His ability, while amazing, is too slow with the current meta turning back towards aggro.
I am not too sure on KT, perhaps Ragnaros would be better here. I will definitely be trying out KT tonight though.
Cool, could you loan me some dust though?
Justicar serves as a way to snowball us in the late game. I basically only see her as the battlecry, and the body it leaves is just a bonus. That being said, Murloc Knight is a card that people underestimate the power of. For 6 mana, you get a 3/4, a random murloc, and a 1/1. I could see him making it into the mainboard of this deck, and if you have to, use him as a replacement for Justicar.
(However, I am most likely going to be subbing out Nexus-Champion Saraad and Quartermaster for two of these, just based on the sheer power of the card.)
What do you suggest for card draw in this deck? Its a bit slow in that respect.
In my experience, Lay on Hands is enough to keep your hand full. However, if need be I would sub out Nexus-Champion Saraad for more card draw. Maybe an Acolyte.
I definitely agree with Ysera. However, because we have so many nullifying effects and removal, I intentionally left out Big Game Hunter.
I think Alexstrasza vs. Ragnaros the Firelord is a matter of preference, as well as the type of meta you are encountering.
can you add more legendary cards please
Alex is a pretty helpful card, especially in the control match up. I would definitely craft her if you can, as she is a staple of a lot of control decks. On the other hand, Nexus-Champion Saraad is definitely replaceable. I am on the cusp of cutting her from the deck, actually. Usually she ends up being ineffective.
I've found Saraad great, if only to serve as a Must-Be-Removed card for the OP. He is a constantly generating threat and if left unanswered can wreck things. This frees up removal/silence that was meant for tirion, boom, sylvanas etc.
I also cut Alextrazza for Kel Thuzad as I found Alex was never getting played. The equality+KT combo is sometimes too much to pass up.
I'd go for tuskar over guardian of kings. Also juggler over pluto as you don't really need more board clear if you have the combo plus enter the coliseum
Input on Tuskarr Jouster or Refreshment Vendor?
Just started experimenting with Tuskarr, and this is definitely the right way to go. It is an earlier drop so that it stays out of the way of the late game, and heals for more.
